I do not recommend getting any blonding done at this shop. They’re uneducated on today’s times and very unprofessional when it comes to dealing with clients. They do not care if you love your hair or not, they let you walk out with orange and yellow hair. The owner was very rude to me even after knowing her for years and my mother, grandma, sister all gave her services for a very long time. Very very unprofessional. Haircuts are about all it’s good for. I will NOT be returning.

Do NOT go to Kate Fritz for a color!!! I sat in her chair for 4 hours, until 10:30 pm, for her to color my grow out to a blonde to match the rest of my hair. What I got was carrot orange!! I told her to tone it because I didnt want orange hair, but she came back out of the back saying that she thinks that highlights will make it look great. This was after speaking with her colleague who said that the orange wouldnt go away. I dont know why I didnt just put my foot down right there and told her no, but she said that it would go back to brown, which would defeat the purpose and was still going to cost me a bunch of money for something that I didnt want. When you to to a professional, you expect them to know what theyre doing and to give you what you want within the price range that you discussed before even showing up for your appointment and showing her photos. After all was done and she added highlights, it still looked awful!!! It wasnt blended at all with the color that was already in my hair (that she did previously), and because I had to work the next morning, I couldnt stay any longer. I ended up leaving the salon in tears. All she said was that it was a little yellow and she was sorry that I didnt like the way that it turned out! She gave me a partial refund, which left me still paying $45 for a trim, a shampoo, and ORANGE HAIR!!! Please beware, as she doesnt seem to know what shes doing at all... Here is a photo of what I wanted and a photo of what Im stuck with until my hair can recover and be colored again without burning and falling out. HORRIBLE!!! I went to work the next day and people were just staring at me. It was so embarrassing!! I will never go to her again and hope that my experience saves someone else the horrifying experience that I went through. Her colleague, Colleen, had the nerve to tell me that I was disrespectful to them because I paid and left! I couldnt stay there for 2 more hours and I was in tears and just wanted to leave! Kate didnt even offer to have me come in another day to try to fix it... She was just sorry that I didnt like the way that I turned out. I told her adamantly that I did not want orange hair!! I even told her about a previous bad experience, but that hairdresser actually went to the effort to work with me and fix my hair that I have to go out in public with.

As always they do a great job. My wife loves it there.

Its a shame the management doesnt know how to treat its employees. Its unfortunate that they think they can yell at employees in front of customers and still maintain business.

Great cuts

This salon has experienced stylists who have worked together for years and do terrific work! I look forward to seeing the whole crew when I go for an appointment because I feel like family. The shop itself, like the stylists, is professional and inviting.

My mother said I had to try this salon because she and all of her friends really like it. I had the owner as my hair stylist, she was professional and friendly. Cost me $31 to get all my hair chopped off. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Kate did a great job on my haircut. Shes also fun to talk to, made the time fly. Definitely recommend going to her!
