The office in Centerville is in a wonderful location. Easy to get to and plenty of parking.I felt very comfortable with the COVID 19 requirements being followed and strictly enforced. The staff are all very friendly and professional.I can’t give enough accolades about Dr Pateder. I went to see him in a lot of pain and stressed outover previous doctors findings and recommendations. Dr. Pateder has such a calming way and my husband and I immediately knew that this doctor was the one we were searching for.We went to two other spine surgeons before Dr. Pateder. Each one frightened us with severe surgery and lengthy recovery. After studying my MRI, Dr Pateder gave us the diagnosis we were relieved to hear. He explained in simple detail what he would do, and a 2 week recovery to resume all my activities.Dr Pateder removed a cyst in my lower spine, overnight stay in Reston Hospital and I was home.The next day he, himself, personally called to check on me. It’s been 1 year since Dr. Padeter performed minimally invasive ACDF surgery to replace three discs in my neck. I was very worried about having the procedure after a pain specialist and others said, “Do whatever you can to avoid having neck surgery.” But I needed to get it done because the discs were pressing on the nerves to my arm. Everything about my experience with Dr. Padeter and staff was great. He took time to explain things clearly and his staff promptly returned my calls when I had more questions. The surgery itself went really well. I got to the surgery center at 6:30 AM and left by 1:00 PM that same day. I was up walking the next day, even heating up food for myself. I was able to drive and start working after a few weeks. I was a wreck going into surgery. Dr. Padeter picked up on that and made sure to keep checking in on me post surgery. He called the next three nights to make sure I was okay. I really appreciated that he went the extra mile for a nervous Nelly like me. Now it’s been a full year and I can honestly say I am 98% back to myself, doing all the activities I used to do with no pain. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Padeter. Not only is he a top notch surgeon but a compassionate one as well.

Dr. Pateder seemed a little rushed with little time to gain a complete understanding of my pain or why it was also going down the front of my leg. Just gave me the option of going to PT and went on to his next patient. A total of 5 minutes, maybe less. I left with some unanswered questions.

I was very nervous and anxious of my appointments with Dr. Pateder due to the inevitable surgery that I knew I had to endure, but overall, Dr. Pateder and his medical team went above and beyond my expectations of doctor experiences and I felt comfortable to go through with the surgery despite the urgency. Dr Pateder is one of five doctors I have seen for my condition, and the only one I would let touch me. His caring, not rush personality, and attention to detail was welcome and appreciated. Dr Pateder and his assistants and staff did a fantastic job for me back in 2010 when he took care of two ruptured discs in my neck. So now when I had my lowest lumbar disc requiring fussion, it was so comforting to know he was there to help me through this. I’m through the surgery, as I write this, and just starting recovery. All the pain from the disc is gone now, and recovering well. Super Dr, assistants, and staff. I recommend Dr Pateder at the highest level.

I did not receive any examination. The only contact I had with my Dr. was the welcome hand shake. I do not have a diagnosis or prognosis. I have an order for physical therapy. I assume Dr. would like to see if therapy alone can fix the issue.

Dr. Pateder knows what hes doing, and I love the fact he does what makes you comfortable unless he does think something more is medically necessary. I had a herniated disc so we were going to try an injection first until we saw the results of the MRI. Once we saw those it was pretty clear an injection would be pointless. All of my back surgeries have gone very well with him.

Easy and comforting! They are a very confident team and comes through in everything they do so you have no doubt you are in great hands.

Dr. Pateder and his team were great! I went to him for a second opinion regarding neck surgery and I’m so thrilled I did. I was quite nervous when I found out that i had a spine issue and might need a surgery. I had no idea what to expect during or after the surgery. During my appointment, Dr. Pateder discussed the issue with me and my wife in detail, and walk through the surgical procedure I needed to correct the problem. The surgery was scheduled soon there after and his staff was very nice in going over the process leading up to the actual surgery. His Physician Assistants were very responsive in calling back and the overall staff at his office is quite friendly and helpful. When I went back for my post-op appointment, the staff members at his office were very efficient in completing all activities on time. Dr. Pateder and the staff at Town Center Orthopedic is very highly recommended!

The appointment was very short and the physician was very rushed. I believe he is an excellent physician, but his patient load is too heavy for him to spend time with each patient and to answer questions.

The office staff cancelled back to back appointments that were scheduled (intentionally) for different injured body parts and routinely incorrectly scheduled appointments at incorrect offices. in my 45 minute waiting time I witnessed the front desk turn 4 patients away due to incorrect appointment times/location mix ups.
