I have been here twice now and both times had an excellent experience. I was so close to giving up on breast-feeding and these people really helped and listened- they made a huge difference for me and my baby.
It’d be nice if someone actually answered the phone calls instead of not answering and just having people leave a message. Good luck trying to get them to answer.
Had a really poor experience. They are misleading about the costs and have terrible patient relation standards. Very sad experience for my wife. Southview is great but definitely 100% do not go to First steps, you will most definitely regret it.
Please do your homework with your insurance before you go here. They will charge you twice for each visit - once for you and once for your child! Personally, I had checked to see if lactation support was covered and had thought it was 100% covered when I went. They charged my child because they weighed him as I fed him. My child was not covered for this support. The ladies there are very kind and knowledgeable, and they did help me. I would have given them more stars for the service but I did not appreciate my experience with KHNs billing department.
I was having trouble breast feeding my baby and I am so glad I came into First Steps for help. My daughter immediately latched with their assistance, they treated my sore nipples, and taught me how to use my breast pump properly. They spent 2 hours with me and it was incredibly helpful. I cannot thank them enough.
