Dr Stuebner is practical, kind, and knowledgeable. He has taken excellent care of my physical needs for 41 years. Anytime I have a question he and his staff are quick to respond. He is no doubt the best GP in the business, and I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. He cares deeply about his patients, and it shows.

Dr Stuebner rates 10 stars. He was my husbands doctor for many years. He cared for him to the very end until he passed away of CLL. I wish I had made him my Primary Care Doctor long before I did. Dr. Stuebner is a very kind, caring and loving Doctor. I am very grateful that I am one of his fortunate patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stuebners since I first moved to Colorado in 1983. I have been very happy with my care and his practice until a few years ago. The office staff are totally disorganized, rude, and uninformative. I called on a Monday morning to get in to see Dr. Stuebner, thinking I have sinus/ear infections and was told they had no opening until Thursday afternoon. It is ridiculous to wait 3 days to get a diagnosis/treatment. How caring/helpful is that?I could not leave work on Thursday because other co-workers would be attending a class, so I scheduled an appointment for 11:15. I wrote the time down, had to request changing my lunch hour, and a co-worker had to change his lunchtime to accommodate my being gone. I got an automated message on Wednesday afternoon prior to my Friday appointment, confirming my appt. on Friday at 11:45. I called the office to let them know that they either put the time down wrong or gave me the wrong time on the telephone. The lady that I talked with was very rude and said that if I couldnt come at 11:45 that I would have to reschedule. God only knows when they would then be able to get me in. I am searching for a new primary care physician. I dont think I should have to wait 3-4 days to get in for an infection, nor should the receptionist have been rude and unaccommodating. All she wanted to do was remind me that I had a past due balance. I have already had 1 bad experience with a receptionist there, and wont subject myself to that again.A couple of years ago Dr. Stuebner also misdiagnosed breathing problems that I was having. He thought I had a blood clot and had me go through all kinds of scans, etc. to no avail. After several appointments with Dr. Stuebner and one of his associates, I went to National Jewish since I have asthma. The pulmonologist wanted to know where the blood work was. He saw other tests that I had done but no blood work. I explained that there had been none done. He was very upset, said that should have been the first test performed, and sent me upstairs to the lab and called back a few hours later to tell me that my iron levels were dangerously low and that my anemia was causing my breathing issues. I get the impression that Dr. Stuebner no longer thinks outside the box and feels that all symptoms should fall within the normal realm of what he traditionally sees., not thinking of other possibilities.I will definitely find another doctor!
