Volunteer staff have a very professional curiosity in wanting to help anyone who comes to them. The library is well organized and catalogued. They make requirements of no cell phone/scanner use in order to not find all of their material on line; reasonable considering they have to pay the rent on their location. Likely you will find more county records here than at the court house based on the flooding of the courthouse and its storage areas a few years ago. Membership is easily affordable and the programs they put on at the monthly meetings are interesting and often helpful. If you have Linn county people you are looking for, this is the place!
