Within hours of my online order, someone called me to let me know there might be a slight delay in my order due to high demand for the treadmill I ordered, then he explained how best to care for my new purchase once it did arrive. The delivery was actually scheduled sooner than I anticipated and the delivery guys were very courteous and helpful. The treadmill was fairly easy to set up and works wonderfully. I couldnt be happier with my purchase, especially considering it was the most reasonable price I found. Would definitely buy from Johnson again!

Cory and the staff were very attentive to us - and they worked well together. They demonstrated and had us use the equipment, a treadmill. We decided to order the treadmill. The estimated delivery time of 8 weeks was right on target.Cory and the staff wore masks during this pandemic. There was no high pressure to buy. We live 120 miles from the store.We had been to three previous fitness centers where no one wore masks, and some were high pressure.I give Johnson Fitness in Cedar Rapids a high mark.

Cory was great to work with and didnt push a certain brand or product but gave pros and cons of the models I was interested in.

We ordered the Horizon treadmill on Dec. 28th. We both worked with Cory and his associate in checking on the status of our order. Due to the timing on our part (ordering before the 1st of the year), it took longer for us to receive it to be picked up. The invoice said 4 - 6 weeks, but in reality, it was more like 8 weeks before we were able to pick it up, due to the backlog at the manufacture. We didnt have to try different treadmills to see what we wanted, since our son and daughter-in-law ordered the same treadmill near Des Moines, so we went on their recommendation. My husband and myself wanted it for exercise in the winter time, since it was too cold outside to walk to a neighborhood park and/or around the block. It has been very beneficial to use in our basement. Thanks everyone.

Cory did a great job of asking a lot of questions of what we were looking for in a Treadmill and let my son do a workout on the 2 we were looking at in store. We decided to go with the Vision Treadmill. Thank you to Cory and Johnson Fitness.

After waiting 8 months after ordering from I competitor and never receiving the equipment, I went where I should have gone in the first place: to Johnson Fitness. The manager, Cory, did a fantastic job and the service and delivery were perfect.

I purchased a Matrix Treadmill from Johnson Fitness staff was great. I had exercise equipment i wanted to trade in, Cory, the manager, helped me list it on buy, sell or trade site and was sold in a week. I will do no where else. Extremely knowledgeable and didnt try to up sell me.

Happened to show up just after they closed, but Cory Vaassen saw us and let us in. Showed us some treadmills in our price range and fixed us up with a great one! Thought it was going to take several weeks to get it, but they found one within a week! Great store and people!

I went to Johnson fitness to compare prices that I saw online for a treadmill! I talked to Cameron he gave me a better price then what I found online and a much better treadmill! After my experience there. I will never even conceive of walking in or recommending that store. Customer service and interaction are unknown to the individual i interacted with. Will gladly invest my money in the other surrounding fitness equipment stores.

A great selection of equipment for all of your exercise needs. They even have massage chairs. The sales person was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Bought octane ZR8 at first of year. In May a problem with resistance lever caused me to call to get service. They referred me to treadmill heroes their service company since it was under warranty. After treadmill heroes came to my house i had no callback for a month so i called them. They said hadnt johnson called me octane was replacing unit. I said no so i called johnson who said let us look into and we will call. No call in week and a half so i go into store. They look confused but find handwritten note in drawer about me. They say replacement unit not in yet will give me call soon. One week later still no call. Now july 27 still no octane to use. Over 2 months and i have knee injury whole time so i would love to use machine.

My little lady and I made a visit to 2nd Wind just to get an idea of the price range we would be looking at for a solid elliptical machine. We were greeted by Jaye Slagter, the stores manager, and I immediately appreciated his demeanor. He was very passionate and knowledgeable about the products in their inventory and broke down what I would want to be looking for in a machine, keeping the salesmanship horsesh#t to an absolute minimum. Right then and there, I decided I wanted to buy from this guy if at all possible.He showed us the Vision X30 Elliptical, which seemed to be built like a tank, provided everything we were looking for and was in the desired price range. We took a day to think it over and then contacted Jaye through email, which he made himself readily available through and was very convenient for me. Jaye had the machine set aside and we picked it up that night! The consultant working that evening, Kyle, even eased the pain of writing the check with a few jokes and helped us load the machine into our truck! Top shelf, boys.

Tried to tell sales staff that I wanted a Nu Step. They kept trying to sell me some off brand matrix item. Left and wont be back.
