I couldnt be more pleased with a dentist. The hygienist was wonderful and gentle, especially as I was in for a broken filling from a previous dentist.The dentist and his assistant today were also very kind when I came back to have my filling replaced. Ive had some horrible experiences elsewhere that have left me with high anxiety. I was well taken care of by everyone. Im so happy I found this office!

I dont ever leave reviews but felt like I had to share- I got my wisdom teeth removed here, and had a really good experience with Dr. Anderson and his assistant. They are the best! Very grateful for their knowledge, compassion, and flexibility. Wouldnt go anywhere else; i highly recommend!

Im so thankful for the dentists and dental assistants at Kimball & Beecher. I have had the worst luck with dentists my entire life until this one. Dr.Lopshire and his team always takes great care of me, they ensure I am pain free & comfortable and doing well before leaving their office. I wont go to another dentist! For someone with as much anxiety with dental procedures as I have its saying alot to recommend a dentist. Love this place!!!

My dental hygienist was very nice and kind. The wait was short and the cleaning was low stress due to the nice atmosphere and bedside manner of the hygienist.

Great set up for COVID. No waiting. Masks and hand sanitizer as you walk in the door. registration standing just inside the door. Immediately back to your room. Staff in gloves, masks and face shields. Just a cleaning this time. No polishing due to COVID. Did the floride, they reminded as always, of the cost and that insurance wouldnt pay. No pain with the cleaning or the exam. Panoramic pictures this time. Encouraged me to to the endodontist and explained why they thought it would be a good idea. Good routine care.

This office has amazed me every time I’ve gone, as well as my husband! They’re the best at making you feel comfortable and like they truly care. I never want to go anywhere else. And, they were amazingly compassionate when I came to them for the first time begging for an emergency extraction - when my dentist at the time was rude and not helpful at all. Would give 1000000000000 stars if I could. 🥰

It had been a long while since Id been to see a dentist, and I was nervous to go. Candice was superb and did not shame me at all for having gone so long. It was as good an experience as I ever could have hoped for it to be, and I would recommend Kimball & Beecher to anyone in need of dental services.

Great Service, Great People! Kimball & Beecher make it easy to set an appointment and change it if you need to. While I am there, everyone is very professional, yet caring. The offices are nice. I have always been very happy with the service!

They showed up 15 minutes late to my appointment.I scheduled my appointment at the 21st Ave SW location, and I scheduled 4 weeks in advance for a 7:15 am appointment. I arrived 10 minutes early, and the doors were locked. I called, and was told to go in right at 7:15. I tried that, and the doors were still locked. I called back, and the receptionist told me that she would call that office (as she was sitting in a different office), and ask them to unlock the doors. I waited another 10 minutes, and still, no one was there. I called back one last time, to figure out what was going on, and while I was on hold with the receptionist, 3 cars pulled into the parking lot, 15 minutes after my appointment was supposed to have started. I expect a dentist to be a little more professional and on time.

They were very nice and patient. I hadn’t been to the dentist in 10 years and then chipped a tooth. They didn’t make me feel bad about anything and were gentle and kind when doing my cleaning. Then I needed a root canal and crown and that too was a great experience! I highly recommend Kimball and Beecher to anyone nervous about going to the dentist!

This isnt my regular dentist but I was in town visiting family and chipped a tooth. When I called to set up an appointment to get it fixed they got me in the very next day, even though Id never been here before. Dr. Lopshire was frank about all my treatment options and did a great job on my tooth.

I am not one to typically share reviews but I felt the need to come here and say that I really really enjoyed (as much as one can enjoy the dentist) my visit to Kimball and Beecher in CR. I haven’t been to the dentist in a few years and have a lot of anxiety around going to the dentist. Additionally, I have often been talked down to by dentists and other dental health professionals or made to feel embarrassed or ashamed about my teeth. But this was not the case. The hygienists (Ashley and Emily, shoutout to you) and doctor made me feel comfortable throughout my whole experience and were very very kind. Also a thumbs up for their COVID guidelines and precautions.

The new location on the SW side of Cedar Rapids was fantastic! Kylie, the hygienist, was so personable and friendly. I felt comfortable right away.I was not a current patient when I originally contacted this location. I had broken a back molar, and was certain I would have difficulty getting in to be seen by anyone so quickly given that I didnt have a dentist in Cedar Rapids yet. K&B got me in the next day!The staff is friendly, the facility is new and state-of-the-art, and I left feeling so happy to have found them. Ive never enjoyed having my teeth cleaned before now, but because of the great care the staff took, Im excited to go back in 6 months for my next cleaning.Keep up the fantastic level of patient care. You guys rock.

If you are looking for a family dentist office DO NOT GO HERE. Unfortunately this chain office took over for our family practice. I gave Kimball & Beecher a chance and was excited to see the new office but even a shiny new office couldnt distract from the rude hygienists and dismissive doctors. To top it off the office staff cannot get the billing system right which makes it a nightmare to pay or try to figure out.

What a fantastic experience, a caring and friendly staff all smiles like they enjoy being there. It really shows in how they treat their clients, thorough in their work and great communication throughout the entire visit. Ive never cared for going to the dentist but here its a truly pleasant experience. Thanks to the staff of Kimball & Beecher =)

Needed a Dentist that put me first, Kimball and Beecher went above and beyond that. Very user friendly website and intuitive patient contact form. I had recently moved to Cedar Rapids and did not have a dentist. I had suffered for almost 2 weeks with a bad toothache and had woke up in the middle of the night with the infection spread to my neck. I called Kimball and Beecher based on Google reviews. They were able to get me in immediately, I was made to feel comfortable, I was given options and not forced into a decision. I had my situation taken care of in a short period of time even though they worked me in. I was very pleased and will be returning for preventative care!

I hadnt been to a dentist in many years and this place reminded me exactly why I hate going. They did not advise me how a deep cleaning is different than a routine cleaning and how the costs for each are covered differently by my insurance. When I called to have them explain why they acted so unethically the woman I spoke to was incredibly rude and refused to acknowledge their incompetence. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

Went to the Cedar Rapids SW location the other day and had a great experience overall. Everyone from the people at the front desk to the dental hygienist and the dentist were all very friendly and helpful. I had not been to the dentist in a while and they were great at making me feel at ease helping to calm my nerves.The work was done in an efficient manner and very professionally. I would absolutely recommend to contact them to schedule an appointment if you are looking for a new dentist.

Im really excited about my first experience here at Kimball & Beecher! Ive had some pretty bad dentists in the past so have developed quite the phobia. I feel like maybe its gone. The first appointment I had, they actually cleaned my teeth instead of just doing an exam and giving me a whopping estimate of work they wanna do when I return. I have been putting off going for a while so I expected to have a terrible exam, shaming of oral care and lack of routine cleanings but there was none of that. I was so happy, I even scheduled my follow up appointment. They are awesome at making you feel welcome.

I had my first visit to the Cedar Rapids location of Kimball and Beecher today and it was great! My hygienist, Candace, was welcoming, walked through everything and made it a great experience! If you can request, ask for Candace!

The hygienist and dentist are pretty good. However the receptionists at the front desk are single handedly the most incompetent people that I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. I would recommend staying away from this practice for that simple fact. If you have any general questions or insurance questions or problems, these ladies will in no way be able to help at all.

So, i went in with Severe pain, i had insurance through my job (delta dental/ or Midwest) but I presented the wrong insurance card the lady at the front desk (with glasses) came into the room and kicked me out saying if I couldnt make a payment NOW! I would have to leave cause they dont take that insurance, very rudely, and my pain was severe! Went to another dentist the same day Aspen Dental once again i presented the wrong insurance yet again in pain and they looked into the correct insurance I had and took care of me. I came here due to the Good reviews but maybe they did not like my race to begin with and did not want to care for me.

Dr Andersen and staff were awesome. Gave me options to explore and were quick with the procedure. Will keep coming back and will refer to all.

I came for a teeth cleaning and general exam. Candace was my hygienist, she was very sweet and made the cleaning a breeze! I recieved a care menu which included blankets, beverages, and sound canceling blue tooth headphones. Staff was very understanding when it came to insurance limitations. I received a quote that broke down the cost of various procedures and what I pay out of pocket. I didnt feel pressured into making a decision or follow up appointment on the spot. I would recommend Kimball and Beecher for anyone looking for a dentist in the area.

Yesterday was our first time with Kimball & Beecher. We recently moved to this area and it was hard mentally to change to a new dentist as I had been gong to the same father then son practice in North Iowa since 1969! We loved our no-nonsense yet quality dentist and hoped to find the same here. Kimball & Beecher seems to be a really good fit for my husband and me. Everyone was so kind, good customer service skills, concerned about your well-being, gentle (no pain!), complimentary of former dentist’s work, plain spoken explanation of what they were doing and their findings. Husband is having some dental issues, staff printed out a report which clearly shows what tooth, what needs to be done and the cost estimate before and after insurance, They called and set up appt with specialist to evaluate a problem tooth so I didn’t have to do after we left. They submit to insurance for you and give you a fun first-time patient gift bag of goodies when you leave. We will definitely be returning to Kimball & Beecher, made our six month checkup appt before we left! If you’re looking for a new dentist, I encourage you to make an appt with K & B, Dr Anderson and his staff are fantastic and will put you at ease!

I always have had anxiety being in a dentists office. When I tell you that I have never had anxiety in this office, I mean it. And if you are nervous or uncomfortable, they even have a comfort menu for you to choose whatever you want on! Blankets, pillows, ear plugs, chapstick, and much more. The aides are very kind and reassuring. The dentists are conscientious of your needs and your comfort. I recommend them 100%. I even travel from Marion to there office on the sw side of Cedar Rapids!

Woke up this morning with my face swollen. They got me in right away. Everyone was very nice and everything was clear from the price to what they where doing. There where no surprises. I will be back for a routine cleaning.Thank you!

Going to the dentist gives me such anxiety as it is but then my hygienist, Brishon, was so mean and made me so uncomfortable during my visit that I got up and left before the cleaning ever got started (I have never just up an left any type of appointment before). I have never experienced anything like that or been treated like that by a professional hygienist. She literally had me in tears. Worst experience of my life. I’ve always had such kind people help me there and it’s a shame this happened but I will never be returning.
