I ha e had bad teeth for over years. Only 30 yrs old. Ive been to many different dentists and developed basically dentist ptsd because of how many bad experiences Ive had. This place is like night and day difference. I was nervous during my consultation but by the end of it I wasnt anymore. Went today to actually get work done. Was terrified, when I got in and talked to them, they listen understand and make you feel 100% better! I can honestly say this place is taking my fear of dentist away! You guys are amazing!!!

Over the past five years due to terrible pain getting novocaine, I had three of my teeth pulled while under sedation. I couldnt keep this up, so I made an appointment with Dr. Shannon and Ive had the best dental experience of my life! She prescribed valium along with the nitrous oxide, which made me relax and I was able to have dental work done without any pain! They are all wonderful, kind & helpful! I wont be going anywhere else for my dental care, they are the best!

I recently transferred my families dental care to the Dental Center. I could not be more happy! The staff from start to finish were so kind and absolutely wonderful! I have pretty bad dental anxiety and they made sure that I was well taken care of. 5 stars all around!

Dr. Chris saved my life and I say that sincerely. Over the course of my life I have had a lot of dental work done. To say the least all the work took a toll and left me with a smile that I hated and anxiety about the future of my teeth. I had asked dentist after dentist to help me and it was always the same answer, well I have to do a study first and the study never happened. I live in Chicago and a friend from CR referred me to Dr. Chris. On my very first visit he listened to my concerns and did an examination. By the time I left the office he had given me a treatment plan and I had appointments booked for the next two days. Literally , within 10 days I had a smile I was proud of again and my mouth was free of pain. I am now in segment two of the treatment plan and am delighted to say the least! If I drive from Chicago to CR (4 hours) to be under his care than you can rest assure there is no decision to be made except call and make an appointment! Great clean locations, friendly staff with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Thank you so much Dr. Chris for alleviating my stress, anxiety and at times depression in regard to my teeth. I have been seeing Sandy and Dr. Haganman for almost 10 years now. I had many other dentists before, but I didnt receive the quality care like I do at the Dental Center. I have had A LOT of dental work done and havent had a single issue. I even moved out of town, but still drive back just to keep seeing them.

This was my second visit to the Dental Center and it was just as pleasant as the first. The staff are very friendly, the rooms and equipment are up to date and clean. I enjoyed getting the choice in music to be played during my cleaning and my hygienist, Christie, was very nice and did a great job. The dentist was quick but sincere. I recommend this place.

This is the best dental office I have been to. Dr.Haganman did extensive work on my teeth and eliminated my pain and his work has lasted considerably longer than expected. Their hygienists are all well trained, they get you in on time and do a thorough job. If youre looking for a great dental office, this is the one to go to.

Ive been looking for a good dentist for a long time and finally found one! Today was my first experience at this office and they were awesome! The hygienist was really good about explaining everything to me. Im the kind of person who likes to know whats going on and will ask a million questions so it was nice to have someone keeping me informed since I wasnt exactly in a position to ask away. Also, they were extremely thorough, they took lots of pictures, X-rays, and did a bunch of visual inspections that Id never had anywhere before. These people are GREAT!!! =)

My dealings here have been top notch every time. The hygienists are always cool, are genuine, and have great rapport. Dr. Haganman is certifiably the man, great dentist of course but awesome dude too. Overall, The Dental Center is the best in town and its really not even close.

I had a crown replaced from a root channel. Scheduling was great and they worked with me. Staff was perfect, building and space looks brand new, and most importantly, the time they took to fit the crown was the best. Crown fits very well and I am very happy, thanks.

Love The Dental Center! They are great not just for us adults, but today my 4 year old had his second visit! You can the first one made a lasting impression because he was excited to share his knowledge about having 10 on the top and 10 on the bottom and you have to brush in little circles. The staff are very kind and professional, and quick! We were in and out and not late for daycare or work today!

I am very happy with my experiences at the Dental Center. Ive lived in numerous states/cities and Ive been to various dental offices during my 55 years; hands-down this is the best dental center that Ive attended. Dr. Hanganman is excellent - a true artist at repairing teeth. Hes also very personable - a genuine good person. The financial analysis is excellent and it simplified matters involving insurance. From the front desk to the dental assistants, the staff is great. I especially appreciate the excellent care provided to me by assistants Heidi and Sandy; they are very skillful and talented. Was a great visit. They used water and vibration to clean my teeth and that was great. Never had it before but will ask for it again. It was faster and didnt leave the grainy feeling in my mouth.2 years later and I still have only good things to say.

Love going to the dental center for all of our family dentistry needs! Dr. Haganman And his staff are very caring and professional. My husband hated the dentist before and he now understands it takes a great dentist to make the situation less stressful. My 3 and 5 year old both go here and leave with smiles. My 5 year old even had to have a cavity filled and they took care of her with so much compassion. I will never go anywhere else!

All my visits to the Dental Center have been fantastic. All the staff there are incredibly friendly and more than happy to answer any questions as soon as you have them. Everything is explained completely so you never have to worry about not knowing what is happening to your own teeth. Despite it being a trip to the dentist, it is never a trip that I dread due to how well ran of a place it is and how nice all the staff is.

Very sad to say that after sincerely trusting CR Dental Center for 9 years, we have now decided that our family would no longer going to there for any dental care or work. More than 3 times throughout our 9 years we were told by the staffs that our annual ex rays would be covered by our insurance. But, a couple weeks later our family of four would have an out of pocket additional balances. Yes, I bought them up each time.Recently I had a crown put on an unfinished implant. The crown supposedly is made at the location with the state of the art technology; but, it does Not placed properly in my mouth. They never ask to see how satisfy the thousands of dollars job fit but instead I received, an extra, additional, already, out of pocket statement. The office manager and I have established a payment plan for the uncovered cost of an abutment and crown. In which I have been faithfully making payment each month since January 2018. .... No, no more of this sort of neglect; basically lies!

When I moved to Cedar Rapids two years ago I was overwhelmed with all the choices I could make regarding my dental health. I am from a small town so your options are very limited. I am so happy I stumbled upon The Dental Center. Their whole staff is amazing and very gentle and give you great advice. I am so glad I got Chris Haganman as my dentist. He has helped me SO much with my teeth. He is very generous and caring and a great doctor all around. He truly cares about you and your treatment! This is the best dental office there is in my opinion. Super professional, they always do a financial analysis against your insurance, and the staff is fantastic. Going to the dentist can be stressful but the staff at the Dental Center is great. From asking the patient what type of music they prefer to the vibrating chair to help you relax they really they really want you as comfortable as possible. If you want a caring and knowledgeable staff this is the place to go!!

In elementary school I suffered trauma to my front tooth. They were able to save it and put me back together but after 2 root canals and 15 years later my tooth was slowly fading in color and my gums started retracting which made me look like I had a piece of pepper in my tooth at all times. I knew at some point I needed to do something. But I was extremely nervous about this change because I thought to myself—what if it turns out worse than I already have. With Dental Center’s patience they waited for me to be ready to take the plunge. I mentioned to them I will do it before I get married. Now that I am engaged I set up my appointment and got my teeth fixed, my only regret? NOT DOING IT SOONER! I am so pleased with the results. I find myself smiling more and feeling 100% more confident talking to strangers. A smile is a significant thing, it’s the first thing people notice about you. You can spread joy and happiness to anyone with a just a simple smile. I have been fortunate enough to travel to a few places in this world and it is incredible how a smile becomes a universal language. Dr. Chris is very personable and cares about his patients. Hes great with my children and they love going to his office and getting their teeth cleaned. I would highly recommend him as a family dentists!

They kept referring me out when I came in with the necessary papers and explained what I needed before being seated, the double referral landed me not being able to get covered what actually needed to be done. They were very helpful when I came in, but I explained to them what I needed, when I called asked if they did the oral surgery work I needed done, and explained that I was referred to an Endodontist before getting there. Then basically said theres nothing I could do because it was already charged to the insurance, accused me of not expecting to pay, when they should have told me they could not do the type of care that would have been covered by the endodontist. I made it very clear that I was willing to do a payment plan if the evaluation was what I needed, but that I did not want to be seen if it would not take care of what needed to be done. They went through with the assessment anyway so that they could bill the insurance for the visit, when I already had a referral in place.It was really simple, should not have been made this difficult.My financial situation does not merit their inconsiderate demeanor or inconsistencies, and I should be forced to explain that in order for it to be understood. Bringing up my inability to pay was not only unprofessional, but none of their business, especially considering it was due to something they charged; they left that out after I explained to them I had already had more than one evaluation, was there solely for the oral surgery aspect, could not be seen if they could not do it and that it would be charged again on the account, I literally had a full conversation about it with them before I even went back to the room. That was their reason, because they, Got me into the chair, well yes, I would not have been in that chair if the files I gave them and the situation explained ahead of time would have been listened to, the original questions I asked when I called multiple times before I went in, and then before the doctor physically came into the room to see me.They should have notified me they couldnt do it when I asked that to be clarified when I called.

If I could give zero stars for how the billing staff treats their patients, it would be negative. I stopped going here because every.single.time. it would turn into some form of a battle over payments. And I was trying to pay in FULL, not avoid payments. I still feel the same way in my original review about the dentists and oral surgeon, but with already having anxiety about the dentist, the last thing anyone needs is added bonus over trying to pay their bill.

The Dental Center with Dr Haganman and Ami are great! We take our whole family here and they have always taken great care for us. Ami does great with my kids and they have never been scared to get their teeth checked and cleaned.

Been going here since 2015 and the office is clean, comfortable and of course the staff is friendly and easy to talk to. The services they provide always leave me satisfied. I have gotten all my teeth sealed to prevent cavities. They do an exceptional job getting rid of stains at the regular cleanings. Im getting Ortho work done there as well this year to fix and sustain straight teeth.

Going to the dentist isnt scary any longer. The Dental Center has been amazing. I walked into the office today with a cracked filling and in a few hours I walked out with a new crown and no pain. Dr. Chris and his assistant Kim are the most wonderful, caring, thoughtful people I know. I went to them with a serious emergency dental problem and had been refused help by my regular prosthodontist of 20 years. My regular prosthodontist told me I was foolish and that I would be throwing my money away to fix the problem. He instead insisted I get all my teeth pulled and get a denture for $5,500 for the top one alone. I explained that I couldnt afford it and was told to get a loan. I was treated like trash by the office assistant who had treated me poorly for 20 years. I did nothing to deserve the treatment I received and am very hurt that they could be this way after the thousands of dollars I paid them over the 20 year period. Dr. Chris and Kim were able to fix the problem - all the while treating me with dignity and respect. I am forever grateful.

Always great, prompt, and friendly service. Started having throbbing pain in the jaw Fri. morning before the Xmas break when everybody was off. They got me in, checked me out, saw that it needed a root canal and got me into an endodontist that same day.

My friend recommended I see Dr. Haganman. I decided to give The Dental Center a shot--even though I live in Iowa City. In the 29 years Ive been alive, this was THE BEST dental experience I have ever had. Everyone there was friendly and professional and the center, itself, was a positive, upbeat environment. I hadnt seen a dentist in 10+ years due to anxiety and previous bad experiences. After a tooth began giving me troubles, I knew I had to see a dentist. I picked The Dental Center solely on their Google feedback and I was not disappointed.My initial appointment was very smooth and both Kim and Dr Stovie were awesome. They listened to my concerns and what I wanted done and did everything they could to put me at ease.The procedure itself was completely pain free (even the numbing agent injections!) and completed in a timely manner. Despite the cavity be rather deep, I had no pain following the procedure and was able to eat and drink as I normally would.If youre an anxious person putting off seeing a dentist, the staff at The Dental Center do a wonderful job and will put you at ease (pro-tip: bring good head phones with which to listen to music to drown out the sound of the drill). My experience was painless and has greatly reduced my anxiety toward the dentist.Thanks Dr Stovie and staff!

After 30+ years with another dentist, who retired recently, I was introduced to The Dental Center. From the get-go, I was made comfortable by the front desk staff, to the dental hygenists and on to the fixing room where the dentist and his staff did their work. All showed professionalism while being caring and personable. Not that any of us enjoy and look forward to dental maintenance, this offices personell are excellent in making that as comfortable as possible.

I have unfortunately had many experiences with the Dental Center. I dont say unfortunately because of the service I received but because I have needed so many different things performed on my teeth. Dr. Smith is my dentist and I can not say enough positive things about him. Hes always willing to discuss your problem and is always looking for the best, yet least expensive solution to your issue.I also have had experiences with both Dr. Olivier and Dr. Kelly on a more limited basis but again received excellent care. All the staff I have dealt with are also very professional and friendly.I have already referred several people to The Dental Center and would never have a problem recommending anyone to them. My own personal experiences here have always been excellent and I do highly encourage you to check them out if you are in need of a dentist.

Progressive, state-of-the-art facility-runs like a grand slam, efficient, yet personable, I LOVE my dental center-From my dentist, Chris Haganman to all personnel! Im a fan and theyre my favorite team...Oh, Im still a bit fired up about the World Series of the century, it would seem, but the analogy is accurate...Except the Dental Center hasnt had to wait for a century to be champions! Chris Haganman DDS, MS is absolutely spectacular to work with! My fiancé experienced a chip in his front tooth just a month prior to our wedding. Chris did everything he could to get him in quickly and timely to ensure he was wedding day ready! Amazing hygienists and assistants to work with as well! Everyone is super friendly. Chris is amazing, they have a dedicated person who gladly answers and researches insurance questions, they are happy to numb half my face at a request, and they truly want you to be happy with your teeth. By far the best dentist I have been to.

I was referred to the Dental Center for a root canal from peoples clinic. I had previously seen 2 other dentists who recommended this procedure. This Dentist reviewed my xrays and told me yes you will need a root canal. I exercised my constitutional rights freedom of speech and the Dentist told me to walk out the door and never come back. I guess the Dentist was having a bad day. Im not happy at all with how I was treated. I do believe it may have been an issue with my insurance because I was told by the Dentist there the only Dental office in Iowa that accepts Iowa Wellness for Root canals.

I couldnt be more satisfied with the Dental Center. Everyone is super friendly and very professional. I actually look forward to going there for my two mainenance visits per year because I feel Im visiting old friends. I highly recommend The Dental Center, and particularly enjoy my interaction with Amy W and Dr. Stovie.

Went in with a chipped tooth for a bonding procedure, which is supposed to last 10-15 years depending on material quality, expertise of the dentist, and post procedure care. Not sure about the quality, but I am of the opinion that the dentist made a mistake in applying too much material, resulting in overhang between teeth numbers 7 and 8, making it nearly impossible to floss between. When I went in for a cleaning, I made mention of the obstruction to no avail. Then about two months ago, I was flossing between the aforementioned teeth when suddenly the bond material came loss and ended up on my tongue... two years is all that it lasted. I canceled my next scheduled appointment in favor of an alternative service provider.

Always looking out for our families needs. No matter how much I dread going to the dentist I know I am in capable and trustworthy hands. I would not go anywhere else.

I had troubles finding a dentist that I liked in the Linn County area. In the past I had been nervous going to the dentist. The Dental Center made me feel at home. I would recomentd the Dental Center 100% of the time. At my dental visit I had a filling that needed to be filled. It was painless. Dr. Haganman and Bobbie did an amazing job. I didnt even know they were filling my cavity until they told me I was done! I would not consider going anywhere else but to the Dental Center for all my dental needs. Actually LOOK FORWARD to going to the dentist now( in 6 months)!
