Office staff was courteous and very helpful to schedule an urgent appointment at a very short notice. Dr. Mummaneni asked me all the questions needed to address my health issues. He is very honest, professional, knowledgeable and courteous in his approach to me. Ordered some diagnostic tests and sleep study to clear all the doubts I had. Overall I am very pleased with my visit and highly recommend him for all neurological issues.

Excellent medical care. Dr. Mummaneni is experienced and knowledgeable. He is helping solve the problems that led me to him. If there is one area for improvement it is punctuality. In my two appointments I had a long wait in the reception area and then again in the consultation room.

My Dad was have some temporary bouts of paralysis. We had him in the ER several times, a few hospitals, appts with many doctors. A few of the diagnosis were TIA and Spinal Stenosis. We had one tele-visit with Dr Mummaneni. After looking at his symptoms and med list he diagnosed the problem as low blood pressure. He could have easily ordered many tests which we would have happily agreed to. Ill post again if the diagnosis proves accurate, just need to check his pressure when he has another episode. If so Dr Mummaneni will have found the issue that my Dads family Dr., several other Neurologists, and many other Dr could not.

Agree..very pathetic service. Staff is lazy. Do not want to work on my authorization eventhough I worked with my insurance company and provided all needed information. I felt like constantly nagging them to help me with pre-authorization so I can get tested further. It has been 3 months and nothing and Doctor wants to have follow up visit. I told the staff thru portal to cancel the appointment which they did not. DO NOT see this doctor. You will not get needed care. I heard the same from my in-laws doctor who was also referring patients there. That office stopped referring patients because of their lousy service.

If I could leave zero stars I would over and over agian! I saw Dr. Mukundan for epilepsy and occipital neuralgia. SHE WAS AMAZING! There has truly never been a better neuro, unfortunately she had to go on a year sabbatiacal and could no longer see me. I was passed onto dr Mummanini and I went to see him to have my nerve block injections done and to go over the recent eeg I had done. 1st my eeg showed that I was still having seizures only it was showing less than my original one hour study done in dec last year. However it was not accurate and I am having increasing seizures and when I tried to speak with him concerning this he just blew me off entirely and said we wont be doing anything with medications?? As if a one hour study is really an accurate represention of all the time. Second when he gave me my injections he did them very fast and every place he put them was incredibly swollen which has never happened with another doctor. He was also very standoffish and rude in my opinion. I asked if I could see the other neuro instead, Dr. Patel to which they responded no I couldnt because they cant transfer patients. All while I have been saying I need to be seen because I have been having seizures at home with 4 children under my care?!? (I do have help) He very cleary doesnt care for his patients well being. 0 out of 10 DO NOT RECCOMEND!

HORRIBLE experience. Getting past the voicemail wall to talk to a receptionist or appropriate party is EXHAUSTING! PR is LACKING. The incident that did it for me was when they dropped the ball and didnt call in my prescription while the doctor was out of the country. When I called to resolve the issue, It was communicated to me by the receptionist... when its convenient or I can catch him in the hall... Ill ask him to call it in. HELLO! My near lack of NOT having medication (prescription refill) is not an issue of convenience! On top of it all, I went by the office in person to sign a medical records release form (Im transferring to another practice as a result of these experiences), I was told by the physician’s assistant, 2 weeks ago my medical information was sent over to the new doctor the same day… come to find out on 7/29/19; the office staff never sent it as they indicated. See the pattern? Had to select a star to post this... that alone is too much of a star in my opinion.

I have seen quite a few neurologists and Dr Mummaneni is one of the warmest and most thoughtful that I have seen. He was very caring, I had been trying to get answers on being absolutely exhausted for nearly 20 years. I had seen a sleep neurologist who was so convinced it was sleep apnea that when the test did not show that he didnt suggest anything else. The first time I saw Dr Mummaneni he read my notes, my labs provided and immediately asked about narcolepsy. It was a huge weight off my shoulders to finally have a doctor listen. He even personally called me a couple weeks later once he had a plan on what to prescribe and got it cleared with insurance.I knock one star off because his office staff can be a bit unorganized, I have had issues trying to make appointments. The first time I went was right after lunch there was no direction on checking in so I sat in the lobby 30 minutes past my appointment. Every one of my appointments has been late, I blame it on poor office staff.

The phone number to set appointments does not work. The additional options number on the menu does not work. Even if you leave a voicemail, no one gets back to you, which makes me think either they dont know how to access it or whoever was in charge of answering it no longer works there and no one has picked up the slack to take care of it. You physically have to go to the office to get in touch with someone to set an appointment. The doctors are amazing, but this communication aspect is a HUGE issue. Many of these patients are on medication that is necessary (e.g. antiseizure medication), but they cant get in contact with anyone to get prescriptions refilled, reschedule appointments, etc. Please take the time to resolve this. If anything else, just do better for your patients, they rely on your care, and your front office staff (or whoever is in charge of it) should reflect the amazing care you all provide.

Waited an hour past my scheduled appointment time this morning without being taken back, so I had to leave and reschedule for the following week. The receptionist was accommodating, but no explanation given by Dr. M’s nurse what the reason was for the delay. I’m not a fan of doctors who triple book patients and make them wait for a 15 minute follow up. He’s a good doctor, but so many more important things I could have done with my time...

Dr. Mummaneni office staff at times is rude and condescending. At my initial few visit I felt he listened and was willing to find out what was wrong with me. Come to find out, by other experienced neurologist, he had been misdiagnosing me which has led to my condition being improperly treated. I would not recommend any patient to see Dr. Mummaneni for fear of not receiving the care that they deserve.

On my first appoointment, the Dr was over 2 1/2 hours late, then acted like it was no big deal when he finally showed up. Absolutely no respect for anyone elses time other than his own. Against my better judgement, I actually went to my follow up appointment. He was rude and condescending. I will not go back and only wish I had read the other reviews before I went in the first place.

If we could give Dr. Mummaneni 105 stars instead of just 5, we would! A dozen neurologists told us they couldnt treat my husband because he needed to see a sleep medicine neurologist. Not many of those exist, weve learned. But the wait to get in to Dr. Mummaneni was WORTH every minute! He is kind, professional, understanding, relatable, intelligent, diligent, and able to speak in laymans terms even when explaining complex medical issues. He is fighting for us to get our needs met with our insurance company and he was the one to initiate that - we didnt even have to ask. His office staff and nurse are all friendly, responsive and able to answer questions or go to him to get answers they dont already have. We are so grateful to have found this team to be on our side in this journey!
