After shelter in place because of the virus 2020, news stations were saying not to neglect your personal health so I went to this location which I have gone to for couple of years or more for my annual Womens Wellcare. We did the normal lab work up and for whatever reason they sent it out of network to Genpath in New Jersey instead of Quest here in Austin like they normally do. I received a $1500 lab bill instead of a $90 one. I have been fighting it ever since. I got the amount due down to just under $300, thanks to my marketplace insurance Oscar and have been mailing in $20 a month so it does not wreck my credit. Now, because of the blizzard in Texas and just in general, I do not get my mail regularly so not receiving the monthly bill.I have begged, pleaded, messaged Heather Robinson, her supervisor at Victory, Jane Gesmond whom said they were working on it to no avail and then they just quit responding at all and ignored me. I have been on the portal, called, left messages. I have tried everything. I will NEVER return here, the sad part is and I expressed this to them. I dont even want to make an appointment at all for anything anywhere because you cant trust the healthcare system. I can only hope this gets seen and felt on their end so it might create change? How is this helping my personal heath care ladies? To be ignored and charged ridiculous sums in a year I have not even been able to work and have received no assistance? Or anytime for that matter?

Frustrating! My daughter and I both went into the Cedar Park location for allergy testing. Three different people came in during the (four hour) testing and all asked the same questions repeatedly. I felt that the office staff was not very well organized. After blood testing was sent off I never received a call to tell me the results (my patient portal account has never been updated either). I finally called the office and they told me there had been a problem with the blood sample and the lab wasn’t able to do the test. I would have never known had I not called to ask. I was still charged for this test.Later, I called with a question and the lady on the phone acted like she couldn’t be bothered to help me and kept interrupting me. Communication with this office is not great. No one has been in touch with me for a follow up.You have to work very hard to figure out what’s going on. Go somewhere else.

I have been going for years to the south location but moved up north. I have been to the Cedar Park a few times and dislike the service here for various reasons. But, this last time I called for a nurse to call me back and still nothing. I had called a month prior regarding the same issue but never heard back then either. During that time, I had called about the problem and then later went to the pharmacy to fill my prescription. They told me it was already filled. I was surprised because no one had told me that my dosage had changed and may have been due to the problem i had called about. Then come to find out, my dosage for the same item came in separate bottles (just different dosage to total one dosage) and was charged twice was much since it came in two different bottles. What?No call backs, and I really want someone that looks at me as a real patient and not just another name to take care of and move on. South Austin was better but im going to have to find someone North. Oh, and this isnt the first time I have had problems with Cedar Park. I had to call them a month later to find out what my labs were. When I did meet with someone to discuss my labs, there were things i could have improved on to make my health better, so why didnt anyone contact me then? Did my labs come in and were just ignored? When I had originally called about those labs, I didnt get a call back for a couple of days later. Im not just good insurance. Im a patient. A person.

The Cedar park location service has been disappointing, frustrating, and has not lived up to my previous experience with the south Austin location.1. I needed to take an allergy test and they couldn’t provide me with any information about the cost or even an estimate. They did not provide any assistance or seem to even care that this was a concern for me. I attempted to talk to multiple staff members, and was offered no assistance or guidance and at best was treated as an annoyance. The healthcare system is difficult to navigate and you would think these professionals would have some understanding and compassion towards their customers. In addition, the bill was way higher than expected.2. When setting up a follow up appointment, the appointment scheduler was unfriendly, unhelpful, impatient, and rude.I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for quality care

Cedar Park Victory Medical is by far THE best functional medicine care I have received. Katy Bycura is truly amazing. Her dedication, enthusiasm and knowledge of the body is helping both my sister and I heal. I mean truly heal. She is a detective in action! choosing the lab tests, medications and supplements with great skill and discernment.Katy explains that our bodies want to heal, that disease most often doesn’t happen overnight. Therefore, the healing and balancing back to health doesnt happen overnight.Katy understands that is a journey the client and medical professionals take together. She is kind, respectful, and enthusiastic.I am so very very thankful that I found Ms.Katy. She is quite literally saving our lives. In gratitude, Larraine B

You are a person, not a chart number! They don’t judge, they team up and give you hope, fight and a way to get your healthy life. I have been overweight since my last baby (my baby is 20 yrs. old) lots of female issues and steady weight gain no matter what I did, until I just accepted this is the way it is. 40’s took that to a whoooole new level, thanks for skipping out metabolism.I went to Victory weight loss with a fed up, probably won’t work attitude. The doctors immediately saw that and promised to run blood work and listened to me explain what I think may be wrong. The tests came back and they walked through and explained all blood work results and the puzzle they confirmed that without getting my hormones back on level, I was fighting a losing (ironic) battle with my weight issues. I literally felt like I was led here as there was finally an answer instead of ‘eat more chicken breast’ as I had been told once by an endocrinologist. So I began specific vitamin supplements (my choice of brand bought through Amazon, not a center sales pitch) and naturally compounded hormones in-house by Don, the friendliest pharmacist who’s onsite. They assigned me to Lindsey, a nutritionist who has also doubled as shrink, cheerleader, and friend. She has helped me develop a realistic approach that is tailored for my lifestyle and learn the patterns and change the unhealthy behaviors.Five stars aren’t enough. I am not special, this is commonly seen in passing with their other patients. I look forward to going to see them even when I know the scale isn’t going to lie for me.

They advertise in bold letters that an office visit is $50. In much smaller print, which I should have read, it says WITH insurance. I was charged $169 before any treatments because I dont have health insurance. Its not the money, its misleading advertising as I see it.

UPDATE: I had a misunderstanding with Dr. Hanley, but after communicating my frustration, she reached out to me and we talked things through. I really appreciated her taking the time to do that out of business hours and feel like she really takes the time to listen to her patients.----------------------ORIGINAL: Dr. Hanley is incredibly unprofessional and rude, I will NEVER go back to another Victory Medical and will make sure I share my experience everywhere. With the door open, she loudly discussed personal treatment information so that all the staff, people in the waiting room and other patients in the rooms could hear. We were discussing my treatment options and in the middle of our discussion said Do you want to just cancel this appointment and leave? I was not being rude or disrespectful and I have no idea why she suddenly became so hostile. I explained that I am just trying to talk to her and didnt feel like she was listening to me. Then she went back into her office and continued to loudly talk about my personal medical information to me from down the hall. Dont treat your patients like children or yell confidential medical information from down the hall. Go somewhere else, otherwise this is what you are in for.

The Cedar Park clinic on 351 Cypress Creed Rd#100 is overcharging me.They first time I do annual checkup, they want to charge me $170 for first visit, I argue with them and tell them annual checkup is covered by insurance. Then, I have to make a second appointment to visit to get my annual check lab result. It is only 5 minute visit to get my lab result because I couldnt get my lab result online. And I receive a bill which charge for $300 for this visit. The billing is crazily expensive. It adds up too much stress to our life.

All about the money. Will smile in your face and then deny your refill the next day because youre probably a junkie anyway. You need constant appointments and drug tests to keep your scripts.

My experience with Victory Medical Center was terrible! I scheduled my appointment for 12:30 and was asked to arrive 15 mins early, which I did...it is 1:09 and I have left the facility after being told my wait would roughly be around 45 additional minutes. Are you kidding me? Who runs a business like this? So disappointed in the lack of respect for others personal time. I understand 20-30 mins behind but to have a patient waiting over an hour for a basic checkup is crazy.
