I had cataract surgery on both eyes with Dr. Branch and the service was excellent. From the reception desk to the exam at the Cedar Park office all the way through the surgery, everyone was very professional And very friendly. All options for my new lenses were described in detail and I felt guided but not pressured in making a choice. Dr. branch was very professional, thorough, and friendly. On the days of the surgeries, there were constant checks to make sure that I was receiving the correct surgery. The staff continuously asked if I had any questions and explained each step thoroughly. I felt the atmosphere was very friendly and calming. I received a call from a nurse a few days before surgery to give me all of the details and answer all of my questions, and another call after surgery To make sure that all was well. I am very pleased with the procedure and the results and I recommend Dr. Branch and his office to everyone.

I want to thank everyone at Texas Vision. Going through my cataract surgery and now getting ready for new glasses. Everyone made me comfortable about the surgery, explaining every step. Dr. John Branch far exceed my expectations as great eye doctors and a great office staff. I shopped around at 3 different eye clinics for Lasik before I chose Texas Vision. And I’m glad I did! I just had my surgery 24 hours ago and I can already see well enough to write this review! I have absolutely zero discomfort and I’m seeing 20/20 out of one eye, and BETTER than 20/20 out of the other (20/15). Doctor Branch is very patient and he took time to answer every one of my questions, of which I had many. I was really nervous about having my eye cut open and then, basically, melted down. But I shouldn’t have been scared! It was so easy and fast. Everyone at the office was super nice and I can’t say enough good things about them. They also have the best lasers in the industry from what I gather and that’s one reason I chose them. If you’re considering Lasik, go here!

I am a retired dentist and was referred to Texas Vision by my optometrist in Georgetown who informed me that Dr. John Branch is top in his field.My experience at Dr. Branchs office was great.The front desk personnel were very helpful and courteous. His assistants did a very thorough series of test procedures on my eyes and answered my questions.After reviewing my condition, Dr Branch explained all of my treatment options and answered my questions.Dr. Branch performd a cataract surgery and lens replacement on one eye and a laser surgery on the other eye. Both procedures went very smoothly. I was very comfortable during both procedures. I was referred to Texas Vision and Dr. Branch. I had cataracts in my right eye that required surgery. Prior to the procedure my vision in my right eye was 20-/40. My surgery was on a Thursday just before noon. It went very well, setting the IV line being the most uncomfortable part, the surgery itself was pain free and very quick. The following day, Friday at about 9AM the vision in my right eye was 20/15.The people of Texas Vision were polite, helpful and clearly talented. My outcome far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

Vision Center of Texas is first class. Dr Branch and Dr Kerns are professional, competent and kind. My husband and I both had cataract surgery performed by Dr Branch. The surgery was a complete success. The surgery center that Dr Branch uses is the best. Everyone there was so nice. I would highly recommend Dr Branch if you are considering cataract surgery. We opted for corrective lenses and are now free of eyeglasses!

I had cataract/lens replacement with multifocal lenses. It is a life changing event in the positive direction. I am no longer tethered to my glasses, no longer need to hunt with my head to focus on things. My hobbies just got more enjoyable without the need to rely on glasses.

Dr Branch is very knowledgeable, experienced, and cares about his patients. He is great with children and adults. All members of our family see him for eye/vision care and we highly recommend him.

Dr. Branch is a Great physician and so is Dr. Kern. Back office staff is friendly and very knowledgeable also. HOWEVER, the front office lady definitely needs some immediate training in Customer Service. She is rude and definitely lacks the skills required to be in a front office.

Last August I had LASIK surgery performed by Dr. John Branch. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He took the necessary time to answer all of my questions and explained exactly how the procedure worked. He made sure to triple check all of the data on my eyes before performing the surgery on my eyes.His staff was also awesome. Beverly at the counter was very courteous and on top of things. Lori, who is Dr. Branchs nurse, was also very friendly and knowledgeable. She ran through the eye exam with me and was very patient and kind.I am happy to say that my vision is spectacular now! I can see on the 20/15 vision line of the eye chart. I couldnt even see that when I had glasses. I cant tell you how wonderful it is to be able to wake up in the morning and not have to put on glasses.These people are very skilled at what they do. They also genuinely care about your eye health. I cannot recommend them enough.

Dr.Branch and the lady who pulled us back to the exam room were extremely nice and knowledgeable. The front desk staff however were a little rude and not very welcoming. Almost ended up not even sticking with our appt because of how rude they were, but glad we did because the doctor was great!

If I could give this office a zero star I would. This place is TERRIBLE. I am a fairly young person to have cataracts at 40. When I went in with financial constraints they led me to believe I could ONLY get two distance lens under my insurance, leaving me glasses dependent for the rest of my life. They did my first surgery with a distance lens, and luckily before they stole my close distance vision FOREVER, by not giving me the full range of my options, I found out about monovision.I went to another office and got my second lens set close. My insurance did not require an upcharge for this. I can now function without glasses. Shame on this practice for almost stealing my functional vision. I let them know how upset I was that this happened and they took NO responsibility for not fully informing me of my options!!Then, the icing on the cake, they take a bill that I have already paid and sent it to a collection agency - so now I have to go back and sort all of this out. My advice - avoid this practice. There are many other options here in central texas, take advantage of them. Your vision isnt something you can buy back if an incompetent practice messes it up!!I see that this company has offered the ridiculous excuse that monovision is a “gamble”. Maybe it was - but it is MY decision about whether or not to take that gamble! They never even presented that option to me. The multifocal lenses they told me about would have been thousands of dollars more.So their response spells out two things about their practice to me - they think THEY know better about my life and choices than me, and you only get to be glasses independent if you are rich. BTW - there is the option to test drive monovision with contacts before making a final decision, which is what the second practice recommended I do.

So happy to be Dr. Branchs patient. Excellence in a small practice where the staff and physician recognize and know you. Hard to find these days!

Dr. Branch is my hero! Ive worn glasses for 30 years and today, after cataract surgery that took 2 hours and went phenomenally well, I have no need. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and I was completely happy with my care. I cant thank you all enough.

I am a 66 yr old patient that recently underwent cataract surgery with Dr Branch at Vision Center of Texas.....one eye followed by the other two weeks later. I couldnt be happier. My vision and color are back and I cant remember when I could see this well.I started wearing the readers in my mid 40s and over the past many years my eye sight was progressively getting worse, requiring stronger glasses and eventually restricting driving only during the day with difficulty reading street signs. I had to quit some of my favorite pastimes, hunting and golf, and I am now able to get back into these activities. I can now see targets and my golf ball. My ball still goes the wrong direction, but I can see it!The Vision centers Dr Branch, his assistant Laurie and the entire surgical staff made for a comfortable, very quick, and professional process. There was no discomfort, or lengthly recovery. No medications and only some eye drops following the procedure. The only regret I have is not doing this sooner. I highly endose Dr Branch and his organization

While Dr Branch is great the front desk administrators are the WORST!I went in for a simple contact re-fitting and the woman at the desk had a terrible attitude. I was told to fill out paperwork that I had completed 4 months ago. I was told that there was a 75.00 dollar charge for a exam that I didnt need. When I questioned her why I had to do this again I was told because thats what I had to do.They have recently changed the business name to Texan Eye. If you yelp the chain you will notice that their reviews are awful.Ill take my business and money elsewhere.
