Kristin Pajares, FNP-C is wonderful. This breaks my heart. The admin staff is the biggest incompetent nightmare Ive ever enouncountered from a doc office. Save yourself the blood pressure spikes and go elsewhere.

Here is what I like about Dr. Jeremy Wiseman:He is comprehensive and articulate. He is thoughtful and sensitive to your concerns and is helpful in incorporating your desires into your regimen of care. I like that he obviously researches everything very thoroughly and is careful not to push, but instead helps you to feel comfortable in the care you receive. His values, insofar as nutrition, holistic approach to medicine, and even the environment, seem to be very much in line with mine. I highly recommend him.

This is for the Wiseman Family Practice in general, and their billing office at the Cedar Park location. NOT recommended!I was excited about this place being an integrative family practice, but have been nothing but disappointed since my first (and only) appointment.During my first visit, I discussed the issues Ive been having with the NP who saw me. She took notes and told me they could help, but Id need to come back and schedule a physical for them to take the necessary testing. I didnt understand why it couldnt be done during this visit, since thats why I was there and had included all that information in my request for a first appointment. She did not explain this other than to say it would have to be done during a follow up.My 8 year old daughter was with me, and I mentioned that wed recently left her pediatrician and wed be needing a new doctor. I told her that shed just had a well check appointment and did not need care now, but would in the future if she got sick. She listened to her heart and looked in her mouth and ears anyway. We left and the front desk told me I could schedule my follow up appointment online. I called later to ask more questions about the follow up, left a message, and no one ever called me back. A week later I got a bill for $150 for my daughters services (?!?!?!) and $131.04 for mine. I have no idea what these charges are for. I told her my daughter did not need a check up now, but I guess listening through a stethoscope and looking in her ears and mouth (unrequested) costs $150??? In addition, I havent been to the doctor in over a year, so if they billed this as a well check for me it should be free (insurance pays all), not $131.04.Ive now left 6 messages for their billing department over the past two weeks. I got one call back after I sent a message through the portal to Dr. Jeremy Wiseman about the lack of communication, but unfortunately I was in a meeting when they called me back. Its the only time they have called, and Ive left 3 messages since.I would not recommend this practice if you value communication and transparency.

Ive been seeing Dr. Wiseman for the past 5 years, and I can safely say he is the best doctor I have ever been to. I have had some complex medical issues ive had to deal with over the last few years, and he always gives me his full attention and is able to educate me on whatever I need. He spends the time, every time, to sit and talk with me until I can leave his office confident that I know what to do moving forward. His entire practice is great, all the nurses and assistants are very cordial and easy to talk to. Office is extremely clean and nice. Ill never look anywhere else for my medical care!

Dr. Jeremy is a compassionate and thorough physician. Hes easy to talk to and doesnt try to force medications on his patients. Ive never had to wait more than a reasonable amount of time for my appointments.

I just started as a new patient last year. I have had two appointments so far. Doctors are great. However dealing with the Customer Service or Front Desk is terrible. Especially Britatany. Not very pleasant at all. I let the first time go by but this time it was the same girl who answered the phone. I had a question about the Labs in which they require you to go to and she provided no help. Told me to go to google and search. I feel that since this is their requirment they should provide their new patients with more information and have this list of labs available. Also train their front desk better. Anytime one deals with the publice especially in a holistic heath care practice they should mirror what they stand for and be helpful and express more empathy. Or maybe work in another area if they cant....

The two stars is due to the frequent delay and wait me and my family members have experienced when coming in to our scheduled appointments. They seem to always run 20-30 minutes behind. Be prepared to wait and dont expect for them to run on time.

I have been seeing Dr. Wiseman for several years now and there are several reasons I keep coming back. Not only is Dr. Wiseman an outstanding physician, the entire experience at Wiseman Family Practice is fantastic. It is obvious that Dr. Wiseman cares about his patients. Not only does he go out of his way to make sure his patients receive the best care possible, he also takes the time to answer any questions/concerns I might have. He makes the complete experience very enjoyable and comforting. I highly recommend Wiseman Family Practice!!

Dr. Jeremy Wiseman is first and most importantly apart from others specifically because he is driven by a single virtue that is expressed in every aspect of his practice. While it cannot be summed up easily, the best available expression would be that he understands that medicine is not about selling drugs to patients. Medicine is about making patients well again. While that includes prescribing medication, it also includes knowing when alternatives are best. As an advocate of integrated medicine and health the focus is always on what the best solutions are as well as the best prevention. This is unique in my experience. I have a few friends who are doctors who have admitted to me that each drug prescribed has the possibility to cause harm, and being a doctor sometimes requires them to select best possible outcomes that are extremely difficult in some cases. After some reflection it has occurred to me that Dr. Wiseman’s approach is probably superior because of the fact that he simply has a greater number tools. He recognizes the wisdom of the paleo diet, exercise, supplemental nutrition and so on, which is more effective than prescriptions alone. This flies in the face of current convention and I respect the courage it takes to operate in this manner. I know hes on my side. Completely. I knew when I first met him that he would be my doctor. Trust and respect are not easy things for me to develop, unless I have a good reason. So yes, if you value the same things, you may have just found your doctor as well.

If you can wait 1-2 months for an appointment - this is your doctor. If you like rude front desk staff, this is your doctor. If you like ridiculous billing practices, this is your doctor.

I got a recommendation for Doctor Wiseman. I contacted multiple locations Westlake and Central Austin. I was just trying to set up a new appointment. Being a new patient they asked me to fill out my information online. I completed that and never received a call back. Waited a few days and tried them again , left two voice mails and never received a call back. I even tried to wait it out on hold and about 20 minutes later after waiting in their call que got no answer. Appears they must be shorted handed, but if it takes this much trouble to make an appointment that doesnt give me much trust in how good the doctor experience would be. No thanks !

This review is based on their billing practice not the skills or the abilities of the doctors. The doctors were great but then they stuck us with a bill because during my wifes wellness exam they had to add refills to her routine long term medication. This resulted in the appointment being coded as a level 3 appt and a $70 bill. When I called the billing department they informed me that if you ask your doctor questions in a wellness exam, they will code it and charge you. Like the doctors, but the deceptive billing is a problem.
