The Stuff is unprofessional and useless!!. Most of the Doctor’s there are careless!. I had my daughter sick for three weeks, with cough, nothing else, 2 negative covid test results one of them was three days before and the other a week before and they wouldn’t see my daughter!. She had bronchitis!. And needed medication urgently cause it was about to turn into pneumonia!. Thanks to these unprofessional ppl that only care about themselves and apparently think that everything is covid!. This place is not recommended. If you really care about your family look for a better place to take ur family to!.

Dr. Ahmad is a very uncaring man!! I lost my favorite Primary Care Dr. and also my Pain Management Dr. He was such a great man, Dr. Randy!!❤️ I had him for soo long and could never find out why he was no longer practicing at Borrego in Cathedral City?? Well, they assigned me to Dr. Ahmad which really doesnt make any sense cause before my Primary was Dr. Reizi, who I really like and feel comfortable with, also knows my history!!! So, heres my point, first Appointment for Dr. Ahmad was to fill my Pain Medication, he wouldnt fill any of my Pain Meds., so it really didnt make sense to me cause that was the whole reason for my Appointment, why did they waste my time scheduling an Appointment for that sole purpose!!! My second visit with Dr. Ahmad, knowing how much I missed Dr. Randy, being with him for so long, just told me very flippently, DR. RANDY IS DEAD!!!! That crushed me...😔😪 I basically just kept crying and sobbing during the rest of my Appt.!! At that point I felt like Dr. Ahmad basically doesnt have a heart!! I really cared about Dr. Randy and told him but to just come out and flippently just say HE IS DEAD!!!! That was a hard blow!!!😔😪😪I really would like to go back to Dr. Reizi cause I know him and feel comfortable with him, also knows my History!!😊 Borrego now is making me jump through hoops!!! Really??? Its my right to choose my Primary Care Dr.!!!But, Borrego told me I need to come there and make a request to switch!!! First of all I wasnt even able to choose what Dr. I want and now I have to make a request to change my Primary Care Dr. and Dr. Reizi has to approve the request??? Seriously!!!

I came here last year to this location and was not happy with the doctor I was given. I felt rushed and he kept bringing up the fact that I was a cash pay customer. I have a feeling that this had a lot to do with the way I was treated as I told him I was limited on what I could afford with my care and treatment.I was a bit apprehensive coming back but gave it another shot. I requested a different doctor and went off of the reviews I saw from previous patients. I found that Dr. Rezai had outstanding comments so I asked to see him. I highly recommend Dr. Rezai. He takes his time with you and I never felt rushed. He was attentive and showed care and compassion. I will now continue going to Centro Medico and happily keep Dr. Rezai as my primary care physician. Thank you!

Not sensitive or compassionate.. Disorganized, bored and only interested in racking up more fees. My MD, whom Id seen twice before, seriously asked me to remind me why you go to an oncologist? If they cant even be bothered to review the notes a minute before going in why should you be bothered to make a separate appointment for each issue? Just crazy that you can only talk about one subject per visit. Man. And then they forget to fill your rx.

The shoddy service took a steep nosedive during Covid. The front desk staff have always largely been unhelpful and more interested in gossping rather than answering the phone, and now that wait time has increased to upwards of 30-40 minutes. Doctors dont bother to show up for even phone appointments now, constantly rescheduling around vacation time. (Their vacations mean my husband has been 4 months without any of his medicine as the staff on-call wont bother to deal with refills.)

I read a number of the reviews and personally Ive been going there for a couple years now and my Particular doctor.... Doctor Randy... Does an outstanding job is very professional goes over my chart to make sure all information is correct... And while Ive had to wait a little sometimes its usually less than 10 or 15 minutes... So I do understand sometimes the front desk can be a little insensitive but the most important part is the quality of the care that you get and doctor Randy always does a great job...Courtney...

They never answer the phone . Sometimes I wait 30mins No answer! The waiting room wait is always WAY to long . When they call you to the back you end up waiting longer ! Twice they’ve forgotten about us and went to lunch! My daughter’s doctor retired so I picked this place because it was close by . BIG MISTAKE !!!!! The reason we stay is the doctor is actually nice .

Very disappointed. The womens health side has been great but my general Dr. Zadir and the urgent care side is awful. They dont give me calls back even when they assure me they will or when I leave a message. I had to go in person to get them to schedule my follow up appointments since they were not answering their phones. And that was waiting 30 to 40 minutes at a time over the course of 3 hours. Then when I went not a single person was in line, I went to the urgent care side which is where my doctor is and not one single person in that waiting room. 5 or 6 receptionists/medical assistants were just standing around chatting. They dispersed as I got there and the phone did not ring once, all while I still had my phone on hold! Then I over heard one talking about a customer who complained and is switching doctors. Well I am following him. Because this experience, while dealing with constant stomach pains for two months, has been awful. And I have done nothing but follow their instructions. Got me no where. Also, the girl tried scheduling me for bloodwork in two weeks when the dr said I needed it in a week so he can call me with results in two weeks. She said Well I mean I have one next week but at 11:15am. As if I had a problem with a certain day or time. She also blamed others for not letting her know she was suppose to call me. So there you go. No communication at all there. Everyone pointing the fingers at others. Not to mention havent seen Zadir in 4 years even when I have asked to see her specifically. Was told I would and still dont. I feel silly for wasting so much time there.

Horrible service! My 2 years old son was sick and they made him wait outside for thirty mins before finally deciding they would take him through the side and see him and the Dr was very rude didnt explain anything he was doing it what was wondering with my son. He just pulled his head in said he had a virus and walked out. I had to go out and ask what kind of virus and how do I help my son. Finally they prescribed antibiotics because come to find out my son had bronkitus. I will never go there again!!

I have been to the urgent care here twice and was seen by Dr. KEEN. (I hope I am spelling his name correctly). He is a tall, probably mid 30s Caucasian man. He is not only empathetic and compassionate, but he REALLY listens. His bedside manner is impeccable compared to most doctors Ive seen, whether it be a primary doctor, urgent care or emergency room. I wish he was also a primary and not just urgent care! Most all the employees are very kind and respectful as well. My primary Dr. Rezai,Also works here. After over 15 years of struggling with knee pain joint pain, cervical radiulculpy, and most doctors looking at me like Im crazy, even after multiple MRI, Dr Rezai referred me to a rheumatoid specialist and I gave dealt with this pain since I was 19, I am 33 now. I FINALLY GOT SOME ANSWERS!! This place is amazing I highly recommend them!!

If I could leave a 0 I would worst worst a business starts with the foundation of each person the works there and you can obviously see they are overworked therefore probably hate their job and it shows why do you need to wait an hour for a person to pick up the phone how is that even ok why is there no standard on how long a person waits when calling I have waited over 45 minutes the 3 times I have called and I was hung up on once I will definitely be changing providers ASAP. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I went in for a possibly broken ankle. They made me walk on it during check in, and then had me leave without a work note despite telling 2-3 people that I needed one. My boss gave me a fax number so they could send it directly to her and they refused. They made me drive back down there on an injured right ankle (I was alone there with no one to drive me) from halfway to Yucca Valley (where I live). They were extremely unhelpful and I will never go back. Id sooner drive a couple of hours out of my way to get to the next closest urgent care that takes my insurance as a walk in.

We really like our doctor, but have run into issues getting refills for our regular meds. Rite aid sent requests for refill approval several times, I called and left messages several times, and after 2 weeks of no response, i insist on speaking with someone. She tells me we need to have an office visit. Why did they not contact me? Why did they not make an attempt to reach me? No response was sent to the Rite Aid either. This is very poor service. Apparently the office is top busy to perform basic functions.

I’m truly horrified by the treatment I received at Borrego Health, and can honestly say that my health has worsened since becoming a patient. I recently moved to California and needed to establish care for previously diagnosed health conditions, and even with 14 years of past medical records from previous doctors, my symptoms were downplayed by both the doctor and nurse practitioner that I met with and I wasn’t taken seriously at all. Some staff members were extremely careless, others were extremely rude (I overheard a nurse refer to a patient in the waiting room as “a sack of garbage” to another nurse), and the disorganization in general is very concerning.I’m happy to have found a doctor since then who understands my conditions and I’m back on the medications that I need, but my heart breaks for patients like me that seek help here and don’t receive the treatment that they need and deserve. I hope you’ll look elsewhere for proper medical care, Centro Medico should be your very last resort.

The front desk girl named Roxana was extremely rude, I came back because they schedule an appointment for my son her cell phone was ringing and she prefer to handle that n then gave me attitude! She doesnt know how to ask questions n when I told her why did you guys give me an appointment if you are not gonna see my son she just stood quiet n looked at her co-worker for answers. They have great Doctors: pediatricians, OB Gyn, psychiatrists, psychologists and general... they also have a lab dept, x-ray dept, urgent care, mental health dept and pediatric dept... they have many resources available for people

I was seen by doctor Aboner Vilches who was so rude did not care to even tell me his name or even ask for mine. He then proceeded to evaluate me without saying anything? Made it very uncomfortable. If you are working in the medical field, there are protocols for everything, he failed to do so and left me in more pain and discomfort.

First time there will be my last... They said I was to see a Dr. Riparip so I did. Not a very good experience, she refused to give me one of my medications that I need for my migraines and her reason was I was a first-time patient and she didnt know me! She couldve gotten my files from my other Doctor but never even asked for them all they had to do was get my OK and fax it and my doctor wouldve faxed them my records.She prescribed A medication that Ive never used and that she never even told me she was going to give me which I dont need because its for allergies and thats not what I went therefore. Ive been trying to reach them for two days they have not return my call I have filed a complaint through my insurance about her and the attitude of everyone else involved.

The worst service. They basically told me my child wasnt a priority. They wanted to schedule his 1-2 months shots 2-3 weeks after he turned 2 months. Excellent service, short wait time in lobby, great communication with doctors and staff, fast referrals and follow up. When I made appointment I said I needed it for Dr Grayman and that I would need to get referrals done to go back to my pain doctor and mental health doctor. I show up for appointment and get sent to the urgent care side. I filled out forms which was a waste of time since no one used them including the doctor or should I say nurse practitioner. I never got told that I will not being seeing the doctor I made appointment for. I had given them a list of previous doctors and the name and address of my pain management and my mental health doctor. On the back was a list of meds...what type, dose and how often. They managed to get it wrong when they transferred to my file and they forgot one which was an important one. On top of that I had to state several times why I was there. I was not asked if I needed refills because on the paperwork it says someone else is prescribing my meds. Part of that is true. My pain doctor and my mental health prescribe theirs but for my acid reflux and my inhaler and my eye stuff is supposed to be from this new one. I had to explain several times that my blood pressure gets high when my pain is over 5 and it was at a 7 and rising. She puts on paperwork that i have hypertension. I had even said I had seen a heart doctor in 2014 so I could be cleared for surgery and nothing was found but apparently this NP didnt listen. I get told it can take 2 weeks for referrals to get done. I am going to call tomorrow to their referral department to make sure they are doing for my pain management doctor which my insurance assured me was with this group. Lets just say I recommend you stay away from this place. Especially if you have several things wrong with you or you want them to screw up your information which can cause you to lose benefits.

To the patients of Borrego Health Cathedral City, especially patients in their behavioral health department,I very very strongly advice you NOT to be a patient at all. First and foremost the psychiatrist, Dr. Levison, who graduated from U of Pitt in 1966 and has not once published ANYTHING, therefor has in no way contributed to advancement of patient care, creates an environment where patients are not individuals but stereotypes due to their place on the socio economic ladder. Nameless, faceless numbers rather than human being with unique needs.The NP, who is in no way qualified to prescribe medications and is unwilling, but most likely because she is not capable of having an intelligent, informed & knowledgable conversation about drugs REALLY needs to check herself and find a new career which does not require critical thinking & deductive reasoning skills, because you cant be an effective health practitioner if you see people in a single dimension only in black & white terms.I am absolutely disgusted!

I was recently there! This was my second visit. I left feeling horrible and violated and the Doctor even hurt me. The female doctor on staff is rude. I was told I was too fat for her to do her examination, and she did not even do a thero job!! Keep in mind I only weigh 152 and am not fat! I actually left crying! I will never refer nor go back to Center Medico ever! When I posted what had happened to me on Facebook, I got 10 people who went there that experienced the same rude horrible service and will never go back either. I too work in the medical field and never treat my patients like that nor does my Doctor. I have written a formal complaint to the medical board and to Borrego Springs Medical Foundation who funds the program. The sad thing is we the community depend on our doctors to give us quality care. We value them as professionals! So sad that the quality of care is horrible. PS. I am still having pain from just a routine pap smear!!!!!

Errible Customer Service. The people working at this location dont know how to answer the phone sounds like they dont have a clue of what theyre doing, called this morning to make an appointment and the girl hang up on me. Called again another girl answer and told me the they dont have any appointments until march or april I said ok schdule me for march she says to me thaTt she cant schdule me for march only april. You want or not?!! She Asks. I say no march, will you have to contact another person for this month. I was in the hospital in mid April 2016, doctors said to be seein within the next 3 days because of my condition, called Centro Medico to make an appointment as soon as possible, they said the next available wouldve been on May 21st...I called to confirm my appointment and there wasnt any appointment...Had to make another appointment for next month...I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Bad service, they have a lot of patient not have enough time for do appointments, if you go to emergency and then you need to do anappointment for some bad illness never gets appoiment early, if you need medicine difficulty you will get really attention whit that ... bad organization into the office, with referrals and more ...In my pregnancy, several mistakes happened after two months, I changed my gynecologist.When my son was born, I took him there, there was no good care, my son took referrals and follow-up appointments for serious illnesses that were exacerbated by lack of early care. To get referrals, she had to make appointments which took more than two months and in the end they even forgot to send the referral and had to repeat the appointment, wait two months for urgent things.My primary doctor would like to call me continually to make appointments for vacations or important meetings that they had. Etc.Fortunately we moved to the medical center on time, I had cancer in a mole that my doctor never sent me to check and I asked her sometimes.And my son now receives care at Loma Linda.Some secretaries are very rude.

I had previously looked for a good hospital and this is undoubtedly the best hospital. They have always treated us quickly in emergencies and the doctors take the time to give importance to their patients.
