I feel very happy to be a patient at EJ Dental in Cathedral City, staff is very helpful, smiling all the time, and so friendly. Love the way Dulce, Adriana and Fabian treats the patients. This place was so awesome! I needed to have two emergency teeth pulled on referral for my daughter, and they got her in fast! They were very nice to her, and made her feel at ease. As she’s very afraid of the Dentist. I highly recommend them!

From the start, no letting me know what theyre doing.They give me glasses, dont tell me why.The girl has to take more pics and more xrays, dont tell me why, as they did this last week.The doctor comes in and hes loud to where others can hear and rude. I ask why the need for more xrays, he said I hadnt had any, I say I did last week. Then he looks at the paperwork.He numbed me for maybe 20 seconds then gave me shots, they hurt so bad I almost cried.My kids go to the dentist always and Ive seen them get shots and it didnt hurt because they numb it properly!They are rough, Im almost swallowing my saliva, when the assistant does put the machine, she puts it on my tongue rather than the back where its needed. The doctor had to call for her to use suction because I almost swallowed what was in my mouth!When theyre done, the doctor just leaves, doesnt even say hes done, just if I can bite. I didnt even know he was done, he just walked away.I tell the lady I have to spit so she hands me the machine to suction it.And says ok youre doneThey dont explain how long Ill be numb, when and what I can eat, etc.I dont even want to go back for my cleaning. This was one of the worst experiences ever.

By far my best dental office experience. I went in for my son to get his teeth checked and the office staff and manager were incredibly helpful .The customer service was a 10/10! The dentist was very informative and I appreciated the honest answers to my concerns. Would recommend and will be going back for myself and my sons dental needs.

The absolute worst experience at a dentist office ever. The minute the dentist saw my teeth he said ayi ayi ayi. Who says that to a patient? He performed a procedure that was fine on my front teeth but didnt communicate when he was doing the procedure and it was very just concerning. Im in a wheelchair then they left me in the room for 45 minutes alone, didnt offer me any water or check on me while I was waiting for the hygienist. It took me two days to get over the way I was treated and I have yet to receive a phone call from the owner regarding my experience. This shows me that they really dont care about their patients. I reiterate that this was the worst experience at a dental office ever o

Excellent experience!!! My sister recommend me to EJ Dental and its the best experience Ive hadI have had some bad experiences at other dental offices. The staff is very welcoming as soon as you get in the door. Julio from the front desk is amazing very outgoing and welcoming pleasant to talk to. The manager Fabian is excellent very nice and answers all the questions you may have. Then when we get to the back the assistants are so nice and making my son feel comfortable hes in process of getting braces and they did a great job keeping him calm and answering any questions he had. Thank you Dulce , Jackie and Liz!!! To Dr. Eaton thank you for answering Julians questions and making him feel so comfortable being at the dentist can be scary. Super friendly staff! Julio is is so inviting as you walk in the office, super organized when it comes to scheduling. Fabian always is very nice and welcoming vibe when your waiting for your appointment .Along with the staff Jackie, dulce and Liz they are so nice and so sweet, they really make you feel comfortable when your in the dentist chair. The hygienist, Nancy is super gentle and takes her time cleaning your teeth. And lastly my favorite is Dr.Juarez she really cares about her clients and their teeth. She set up a whole action plan for me and she’s really makes me feel At home and confident with getting my teeth where they need to be. 10 out of 10 would recommend 👏🏼👌🏼👌🏼

First time I go to an EJ Dental and the receptionist has a pleasant attitude.

Always terrified to go to the dentist.Had deep cleaning done, I don’t know how many shots I had, but I worried for nothing. JESSICA was fantastic! Can’t say it was completely painless, but she put me at ease, told me exactly when she was going to poke and it was the least it’s ever hurt. She is a pro! Also very nice!

Julio front desk is super nice, explains everything very patiently, hes very professional. Dulce, Liz, and Jackie are so sweet clean, and they speak to you in a very soothing way which really helped my anxiety. Fabian is very nice and always making sure everyones talents care of and been helped. Dr. Zurmati was very pleasant, carefully explained things, and ver calming. Overall I am very happy with this place. 😊

First off ignore the bad reviews i was scared to go reading the bad reviews but I saw that the place wasn’t how the bad reviews said it was i would recommend this place 100% The staff were awesome and amazing I got my wisdom tooth removed that same day they weren’t gonna leave me just with the pain and they help you with the price they are amazing and awesome 10/10 and they are quick to get you in and out of that place and I don’t like the dentist but I will be coming back to this place for sure

Most negligent staff ever. During a worldwide pandemic, turning away emergency patients. All dentistry offices have capability to confirm insurance. You turned away a diabetic patient in emergency situation. Went in on a Friday to get a cleaning. Was seen by their dental hygienists Nancy who did an amazing job. The whole staff was pleasant and professional and the office was nice and clean. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Had a very good experience at Ej dental, was able to start treatment same day. I was very anxious but Dr Vargas was calm and gentle which helped with my nerves. I was very impressed by the whole team, everyone was so nice.

Walked in with a tooth ache, I was seen without an appointment. And same day treatment. Great staff! Dr. Zurmati was great very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place.

Went to EJ. Infected tooth. Needed to do root canal and new crown. 3 times they asked for money upfront. I finally gave to them. After 2 hours in chair, dentist put down tools and walked away. Didnt stay a word. Office person said tooth too close to next tooth to do root canal. That was it. I called my insurance because they quoted $730 to pull tooth. It was $100. I got 2nd opinion. Ive been waiting over a week to get my money refunded.

Horrific! Unbelievable experience and the language barrier made things worse. Charged me over $1500 for services not rendered. Literally did not know what tooth they worked on upon return to correct initial visits work.This office should not be allowed to continue caring for any patients.

The first time I went in, without even examining me, they said i needed a root canal but had to get prior approval from insurance. They did a mini cleaning.+ x-rays. 2 months later they called me they had the approval, gave me appmt. (today) After a long drive for me, sat in lobby almost an hour, they called me in where i sat for anther 45 m, then an assistant told me they couldnt do it because my tooth had calcified and they did not have right instrument, so i needed to go to an entodontist which they referred me. Never saw a dentist. Since they already had my xrays, why couldnt they have told me sooner, and saved me the time and effort. The staff were very nice. No mas

SCAM We decided to skip the free Xray and exam at the other place and pay $70 for the same but with two teeth cleanings. After the exam and Xray, they told my wife and I it would cost another $1200 if we wanted our teeth cleaned??? Of course there was another $2,000 in work we needed. They said they would gladly clean one quarter of our teeth for $300. In 50 years, Ive never paid more than $50 for a cleaning. Services not rendered, just another SCAM, $70 lost and a good chunk of our day with incredibly slow service. Hopefully youll see these reviews first.

By far the worst dental place I have ever been to. My dad,brother, and I had an appointment at 8am, my sister had one at 9am.We all just went in for a check up and just to get out teeth cleaned.They didnt open until 8:05.We got out of there till 2pm.They took about 30 minutes to call us in.Once they called us in they had us waiting for about an hour before they did the x rays. We all had cavities except my sister, so we all got them taken care of. We all get our teeth cleaned every 6 months and I cant put in words what a horrible job he did.He was so careless about his job.It is now 11 pm and my mouth is still in pain.One of the assistants cut my sister under her tounge with the tool that they use to suck the saliva out of your tounge.They dont even give u water to rinse your mouth after they do the cleaning.He literally just stop cleaning my teeth and moved on to the next patient, without saying he was done or tell me anything.I got up and went to their restroom to rinse my mouth.The lady that polished my teeth after did a good job. The receptionist was friendly. I will never go back and do not recommend it to anyone.I cannot stress how horrible it is.I wish I could give it 0 stars

Worst place ever dentist kept telling me things i have to do and bla bla i told them i have no ins. And its all out of pocket they tried telling me i need a root canal and thats expensive on its own then they said if we pull the tooth out you have to have a bone graph put in and its 800 total after arguing with them they charged me 335 for xrays for just that one tooth and a k9 tooth never ever going here again

Paid $35 just for some x-rays and a wrong diagnosis. I originally came in to have a filling replaced, but was told I ended up having a cavity in the part that was chipped. Told me there was a 99% chance I needed a root canal vs. another filling as it would hurt my nerves...waited literally 4 hours in total for just a temp. filling. Didnt even give me a prescription for pain killers, since it supposedly was supposed to hurt me SO MUCH to do any type of filling (but it didnt), or any antibiotics...which was scary since they didnt do a cleaning or anything to really make me feel like it was sterile...By the way, Ive had this temp. filling for almost 3 weeks to a month now, and it hasnt bothered me yet. However, its too late to get a permanent one since this place literally filed down my tooth to nothing and now it ERQUIRES a root canal when it didnt previously. Literally made my situation worse. Now I owe over $500 AFTER I paid $200 for nothing, with another $500 to go...since it will cost me over a grand in total to get everything done. WONT be going back there. I dont care if I owe them that much. They owe me my destroyed tooth back and a half-assed attempt at a temporary fix that cost me over $500 and a wait time of 4 hours. Excuse my language, but this is bullshit. Dont ever come here. Youll regret it.

In my experience at EJ Dental, each treatment is excellent, nice staff, at very good discounts, Fabian and his staff are very friendly and I always recommend them without hesitation of their professionalism.

The experience Ive had at EJ Dental has been superall his staff and mainly Dr. Juarez a great person thanks for your attentionDOCTOR JUARES and staff

They give you an appointment and they do not attend you until after two hours and when you tell them something they are offended, it is a lack of respect to play like this with our time, but when you arrive late even if it is 10 min until you cancel the appointment or you penalize The assistants are rude and it seems that they are the ones who are doing you a favor by attending you, even if you have to pay or with insurance. The doctors want to charge you everything, that the insurance does not cover you, that you need crowns, bridges and others. And I go to Mexico with another dentist and everything is fine but they are great to be reminding you every six months of your next visit.
