Beware of this place!! I tried to take an old computer monitor to the recycle event today being held until noon. Got there at 11:35 am. My son got out to grab the monitor. The guy running it came to my car and said they are full and can no longer take anything. I pleaded with him. He said no because if anyone else pulled up and saw then they would want to drop off too. Then he attempted to extort $25 from me saying that my computer monitor had glass for the screen and had lead inside so it fell under tvs. Total bs. I pointed out that the advertisement specifically stated all monitors and that my mine was obviously a monitor. There was absolutely no confusion as to what it was and no exclusions to monitors on advertisement. He wouldnt have it and thought I was a fool and would believe him when he tried to convince me otherwise. I refused to pay. He had the paper that showed everything they would take. It was folded up to only show items they were charging for. I asked him to open it up so I could show him. He hesitated but finally did. I pointed out where it said computers, all monitors. He blew it off. As I was getting in my car, an elder women pulled up behind me and he turned her away too. Right after she left, two men walked up with huge satellite dishes and he directed them where to set it down. Another man walked up with a printer and he let him drop off too. I rolled my window down arguing that I thought he was full and here he is letting men drop off but turned two women away (as well as trying to extort $). He said he cant stop people from dropping off and that I should understand. I said he was being a jerk and I drove off. What kind of event turns women away, tries to scam money for what is categorized as free and then allows three men to drop off after you say youre full? Shame on you!!!!
