I think Dr Capin is the best. I am not giving five stars because twice we have shown up for an appointment only to find it had been changed. They said they contacted us but my phone showed no record of a call on the day they supposedly called me.

As always, Dermatology Associates continues to deliver outstanding health care for me. Very professional staff with no more than a 5 minute wait in the office waiting room. Dr. Capin always takes her time & always explains everything I need to know about procedures & my health.

Dr Capin is amazing! I can honestly say she has given me my life back every time I’ve needed her help for the past 20 years. She’s is the only dermatologist I trust! Over the top amazing!!

I felt like I received the best treatment. Dr. Capin made sure to check everything on my list as well as what she usually covers. Im looking forward to returning to her excellent care.

I cant not say enough good things about Dr. Callahan & the team at Dermatology Associates of Colorado.My mom has been dealing with squamous cell carcinoma and this practice has been far and away the best we have dealt with through this journey. My mom has a procedure done yesterday to remove a patch of malignant skin. Dr. Callahan made sure my mom was as comfortable as she could be and taking great care in tending to her and throughout her procedure. He also answered our plea for help with adding medication she needed and helping us with the Pharmacy when an issue arose. I am extremely grateful for him & his team... everyone from the front desk to the practitioners are top notch and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a dermatologist!

I saw Dr Amir almost 3 months ago. She was nice (which is the reason I gave 2 stars). We discussed that I could freeze my own lesion, but she said shed be happy to do it -- and proceeded to freeze it in office. Once I got my bill for an additional $135, I called the office manager (Tiffany). I explained that there must have been a miscommunication with the billing and need for procedure, as I voiced that I have access to liquid nitrogen and feel comfortable with doing this myself before the 5 second procedure took place. Tiffany was kind and voiced understanding (as she was in the room with us--at the time of my visit). Tiffany said she would submit for the charge to be removed from my acct... she said it may take a week to hear back from their home office. It has now been 2 months since I called for the bill to be changed... I have called back multiple times, as I did not want to be sent to collections, each time talking with Tiffanys vmail. Its been almost 3 months, and the problem has not been addressed, let alone adjusted. I just paid the bill out of frustration (and not wanting a black mark on my credit), but want future patients to understand how this was handled. I would not recommend going to this office.

Wanted them to check on a small growth on my neck and was told it was a skin tag and she could remove it with Nitrogen. I accepted and in 2 minutes process was done. The bill came to $125 for the office visit and $191.00 for the removal of the one small skin tag - they classify it as surgery. Total $251.02 for a 5 minute consultation and 2 minute procedure. It would have been nice for them to give me the cost estimate beforehand. I recommend you ask them what the costs are up front , I would not have told her to proceed and would have driven to Walgreens and purchased my own liquid nitrogen wart removal.

I keep getting this pushy request to leave a public post with the subtle nudge asking Did we deserve 5 stars Glenn?, so I figured they really want my honest opinion. Noting with my name spelled wrong is very fitting as this office didnt seem to get much right. My whole experience was sub par from poor front desk service, no idea why I was there even though I listed this when the appointment was scheduled to having to repeat it all again to the the front desk and then asked again by the two different non doctors that came in to see me and do my exam. My experience was rushed, with very little bed side manner, to then be diagnosed with no true lab testing. I felt like castle being pushed through a gate to be processed and moved on. I have found another local Castle Rock dermatologist that took the time to understand why I was there, answer questions and far better bed side manner that Ill be going to instead.

Nice experience with the office staff and doctor. Was seen promptly and everything was taken care of and I was on my way home.

The Dr. and the Assistant were also very professional, and pleasant. They welcome me to CO. and their office. They explainable the procedure, and why it was being done in a knowledgeable way. Shame on this practice! My 10 year old son was referred by his primary physician to this group because he has a rash they could not treat and it is serious. The primary doctor sent over the referral and I checked with our insurance who has them on their list. I called to make the necessary appointment and the front office was so awful. They stated they do not take his insurance even though they are on the list and made us feel like they are too good to take a Colorado provided insurance. What a terrible practice to not take a 10 year old that needs care and was referred through the proper channels. You should be so ashamed of yourselves to even be in business. Horrible!

I was charged over $500 when I should have only been responsible for my $35 copay.

Was charged $95.40 when I should have paid a $35 co-pay. My visit literally lasted 2 minutes and I was given two prescriptions. There was no explanation for why I was being overcharged when I asked. This is pretty inexcusable.

Wanted to charge a $20 Covid fee for a mask and hand sanitizer. I wore my own mask, there was no hand sanitizer out to use. I refused. Stupid fee

You likely have many choices through your health provider to choose a dermatologist. I would suggest you dont go here unless you dont care about your time at all. People were pleasant though.

I did not have a long wait at all. Everyone there is positive and pleasant to be around. All my medical questions were answered and I left confident.

If I could put negative stars I would. Worst practice I’ve ever experienced. They charge an abnormal amount of money with no explanation. The dermatologist lady I saw permanently scarred my leg for life. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT go here!

I was given great care by Dr Basak. However, when I went to the Castle Rock location to get my stitches out and was checking out at the front desk, I encountered the rudest person I’ve ever met. Renee should not be allowed to deal with patients or doing any kind of customer service.

Session was GREAT- very well done and they fit me in. Problem was two prescriptions- $400 for a tube of cream ($98 co-pay!), and Medicare refusing the other as there were generics available? Need warning for things like this!!!!!!
