Pros, this doctor was kind, stayed after her regular appointment time to do a biopsy on what she determined an emergency case, and put in for a rush biopsy. Cons, told me prior to the results that I had advanced melanoma, with probable shoulder blade bone removal while she handed me a pamphlet on cancer. I spent the next 3 days staring at my newborn son crying every time I thought I wouldnt be with him much longer. Results came in as a age spot, no cancerous cells. This was 7 years ago and I havent seen a dermatologist since because I am now terrified of them. I would just please be cautious of this and always err on the side of discretion.

Dr Broomer has been my dermatologist for ten years. She has always been professional, thorough and a pleasure to work with. She takes time to explain her findings, answer my questions and suggest treatment and prevention. Her staff members have always been pleasant & helpful. A positive experience every time.

Seeing Dr. Broomer is one of my best experiences seeing a doctor. They are professional and efficient. They helped me right away and the doctor saw me with in a few minutes of when I arrived in her office. I highly recommend her.

I would highly discourage you from going here. First, as a new patient, I couldnt get an appointment for a month. Then they called and had to cancel on me. When I finally got in, I was told the doctor could only examine 3 patches of skin per visit. Three?!?! I have this issue all over my body, it would literally take hundreds of visits. Then, when the condition was diagnosed, it was completely over-exaggerated and they freaked me out over nothing and wanted me to schedule surgery. When I asked for a copy of my records, they seemed horribly offended that I was even considering getting another opinion. I have since visited another office who looked at each spot of the issue from head to toe and performed the necessary procedure in-office, right then, all within an hour. I was told the condition is very common and rarely a big deal, though it took him a while to calm me down after Dr. Broomers office made it seem like I was eternally doomed. They have been calling me, bugging me about scheduling the surgery and about how serious this is, like sales people. Castle Rock has very limited options, which is why I went here, but its definitely worth the drive to get quality care.

Dr. Broomer is wonderful. I have been a patient for over a year and she is thorough, professional and friendly. She also treated my college age children and asked about them at my most recent appointment - tells me she cares about her patients. Highly recommend Dr. Broomer.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Broomer for several years and are completely satisfied. The entire staff is pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable in what they do. I recently had a biopsy done and Dr. Broomer gave me all the time I needed to ask questions without making me feel rushed. She was thorough and professional in helping me understand the results of the biopsy. I highly recommend this office.

I have been going to Castle Rock Dermatology for over six years. Dr. Broomer and her staff have been professional and courteous. I feel confident in the care that Dr. Broomer has provided not only for myself, but for my children as well. She always takes the time to answer any and all questions. I have had multiple moles biopsied and had to have treatment for basal cell carcinoma that she found. I would not go anywhere else!!

Went in once years ago. Dr. was rude. Would not go back. Thankfully there are now other dermatologists to choose from in Castle Rock. Dr. needs to work on her bedside manner.

I did not have a good experience with the office staff or doctor.. The day I went in looked like a difficult day for them and they did make mention that they were understaffed. Dr. Broomer appeared to be very capable and is probably a very good clinician. However, she made it seem like I was bothering her.The staff was disorganized and overwhelmed.I only went once but it was enough for me not to return.

Worst dermatologist office ever! Go somewhere else! I never write reviews but I have to share this...waited 2 months to get in as a new patient, had the first appointment of the day, 9am yet still waited in the waiting room for 20 minutes, the Dr spent a whole 3 minutes rushing through a full skin exam for a patient with a family history of metastatic melanoma! None of the staff was personable or friendly. Not one of them smiled and greeted me nor did I even get a goodbye when I left. Horrible experience. Will never go back, would definitely not recommended to anyone!!!
