You can’t beat the treatment you will receive here. Alyssa, one of the technicians, is sweet, caring, professional and accommodating. The optometrist I saw, a beautiful lady in her 40’s, was beyond incredible. I can’t say enough good about the staff here.

I had a great savings from an optician named Cathy! She took the time to help me save money, and get a great pair of sunglasses. She is just one of many who go out of their way with kindness. Dr. McBrayer is an outstanding eye doctor, taught by Dr. Cook who was one of the first to practice optometry in Cartersville, and a great teacher for Dr. McBrayer.

Normally I hate going to the eye doctor, but I was very pleased with the experience I had here. They were friendly and on time. I was greeted right away and taken back quickly to see the doctor. The selection is good on frames & they helped find the right pair for me. I will be back.

The doctor was awesome. Very informativeconcerning my issues..i will definitely go back to him.. However...customer service is terrible. I was told my glasses would be there in a week..i called several times after to check on the arrival of my new glasses but felt like I was given excuses. After 2 weeks I was told another excuse the covid situation was the problem.. Guess what..they came in the next day. I would not recommend anyone to get their prescription glasses there. They take way too long. They expect payment on demand.. So I expect service on demand..just tell me the facts. I dont like the run around..

I am extremely disappointed in them. I went in for an exam and I needed glasses and contacts (and I told them ahead of time I needed both). They gave me my glasses and I waited to order my contacts since I didn’t need them at the moment. When it came to the time for me to order my contacts they said they didn’t have my prescription listed and they had no paperwork on file for me, so I would have to come in again and do another appointment. I’ve never had this experience in all my life and I am extremely disappointed in them. Would not recommend going here.

Eyeworks used to be a wonderful and caring office. That is not the case any longer. It seems like they are under new management now and the once smiling and familiar faces have been replaced with frowns and scowls. There was a young man assisting me in picking out new glasses. He seemed to be untrained and possibly intoxicated. He just sat down and waited for me to gather a few frames that I liked. I would try them on and he would just groan and moan! It was the strangest, most unnerving sound. He even got up and walked away several times with no explanation. I was so uncomfortable the entire time.I finally just decided to leave. I could not sit there any longer while this young man stared blankly at me. Im not sure if Ill be back again. The management should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to take place.

Dr.Hood is so awesome and a very intuitive doctor in making the correct diagnosis. His knowledge and insight about eyes helped me get better from an infection that other doctors missed. He was very helpful and informative about describing my problem and prescribing the right medication.

I took my seven year old daughter there to get her first pair of glasses. None of the employees greeted us. We looked at glasses for twenty minutes. There were several employees working, one of which wasnt even helping anyone. None of them ever even acknowledged our presence. We went to another optical shop where we were greeted and helped promptly. Do yourself a favor. Avoid this place altogether.

Eye exam was completed professionally...a half hour late. The optician side is very poor. Was searching for frames and was put on some list to be seen. Optician barely acknowledged my presence and left me to wait. No one else was even being helped.? Avoid this place if you are trying to get glasses or contacts. The D.O seemed fine.

Ive used Eyeworks for years, dating back to the days when they were located in the Winn Dixie (now Goodwill) shopping center. Ive always received top notch care here. The staff has always been pleasant and very professional. Though Ive tried other places over the years, in attempts to save money, I have always returned for the superior service and product quality. I guess the old saying, You get what you pay for, is the best way to describe my experiences.

Have used in the past. My current glasses broke so I called to see if I could get a temporary pair. I was told I needed to make an appt and they were booked until the middle of the next month. Then the phone was hung up in the middle of me trying to respond.Big middle finger to this hillbilly place

I was out of town on business and lost one of my contacts. I have keratoconus in both eyes. Im literally blind without my contacts. I called to get a backup sent to me and was told I had to come in a week later for an appointment before they would order me any contacts. Then another week before I would get them. I let the receptionist know I needed new ones right away that I couldnt see. With attitude I was told that the doctor would call me back. I never recieved a call from the doctor. I have been going here for ten years and will never go back. Talking about a helpless feeling (along with headaches and dizziness). Very Inconsiderate and unprofessional!!!

Was in town on business & destroyed my glasses. They were busy and didnt have an appointment available for an eye exam. The ladies tried to fix them (I knew THAT wouldnt happen) but Sandy looked all over to find frames to fit the lenses...she did! They were nice & with my insurance, they cost next to nothing! Thanks so much ladies!

I have never written a review, but I had to after this visit. I have been going to Eyeworks for 10yrs and the last 2yrs I have noticed a decline in customer service. Today was the worst. I know that it is Friday and you may have had a long week, but come on!!!! There were 3 receptionist and not one of them would answer and phone and 2 of them were not even with a customer. Then the lady who did the pre test was very rude! Then after my exam I went over to the optical side to get my glasses, which I usually spend $600 plus on and walked around looking for 40 minutes without a single acknowledgement. I finally walked out. I will never spend another dime nor minute in their building.

I have been a customer of this business since I moved to the area about eight years ago. They have one of the few optometry facilities that can do a full medical eye exam (not just a refraction), so I have used my insurance to get exams there for me and my family. We have bought multiple frames and contact lenses there over the years and have been satisfied with the quality. Recently, I had an eye exam, and due to general financial considerations and the lack of selection in frames that fit my both my head and my budget, I used my prescription online to buy a decent pair cheaply. When I got them, I noticed that the prescription was slightly weak in one eye. Being busy, I didnt bother with it, until one of my children broke the pair. I reasoned that I would have the prescription amended since I was about to have to buy another complete pair. I asked Eyeworks to check to see if they were filled correctly first so that, if it was, I could have them adjust my prescription, but they refused to. I was told that they had just had a meeting about the subject, and the employees were instructed that they couldnt check the prescription of any lenses that werent filled by Eyeworks. The rationale was that someone could say you scratched my lenses and then the company would owe them a pair. I protested that the frames I was bringing in were already broken and that I had no use for them, but that didnt make a difference, nor (more importantly) did the fact that I have done business there for many years. I would have to pay for another eye exam not covered by my insurance, since it only pays for one per year. I am very disappointed by the service today and I will be looking for another, more customer-friendly business in the future that understands how to make judgements about the intentions of policies rather blindly following them.

I had a great experience at EyeWorks. I was greeted right after I walked in the door and the staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. Thompson discovered I had an astigmatism, and gave me a new prescription, which works great. Everyone was great from the moment I walked in, until the moment I left.

My son lives out of town. My home is Cartersville. I took him in for eye exam and to be fitted with glasses. took about an hour. front desk friendly, (Katy), and took all information to have glasses mailed to him. second person who took his information, re: out of town status, and need for expedited delivery of glasses was optometrist. 3 days later, I received a call that his glasses were ready to be picked up. I called, informing them, that I had paid for glasses to be delivered. They told me the glasses would be sent out REGULAR mail on Monday. When I asked to speak to office manager, Cam Miller, she apologized for the oversight and told me the glasses would go out in expedited mail, and was extremely accommodating. Office manager accepted responsibility for new staff dropping the ball and turned the day around for me, and for my son, who is waiting for them in another town, several hours away. Thank you Cam!
