This place has a wonderful staff always smiling and greeting their guests knowledgeable on your dental needs and will answer any question you have politely great place to be I would recommend this place for everyone

This place put almost triple the amount on my insurance and told me they were not going to max out my dental insurance for the year, which they put almost 3 x the amount my insurance would cover, which is really terrible. They also didnt show me pricing on everything, so I would not have any idea what they were doing. After reading reviews, I am joining the class action lawsuit against this facility for fraudulent practices and good faith violations. When you lie to your customers about how much the procedures cost and what you are putting on their insurance, that is dishonest and just wrong. I hope you have good lawyers, because this one is going to hurt your reputation and hopefully get all the money back you essentially stole from your clients over the years.

At the beginning it was great! Until they start wasting your time. They are so unorganized and people in the front desk have no idea what they are doing. I definitely wont be coming back here! I dont appreciate my time to be wasted.

I am petrified of the dentist and when I first walked in the front desk receptionist was very friendly and just talking to her made me somewhat at ease but still scared when I went to the back for X-rays the lady who did them ( I dont remember her name) was new but was so sweet and friendly and did a great job. Then it was on to impressions which the X-ray lady and the doctor who by the way made me feel so much more at ease did the process and made sure they came out correctly. I have been putting off going to the dentist do to my fear and they all put me more at ease then any dentist I have been to before. I choose Western Dental because it is close to my home and I am so glad I did. Thank all you girls for making my visit not so overwhelming and I am actually looking forward to my next vist

This office is very in-organized and in professional. Each time I have taken my grandchildren theirs a problem. Today my Granddaughter had a 4:00 appointment, as I wait in a hot car waiting for them to call her in the time grew to 58 minutes past the scheduled time. I went inside to find out what was happening and they claimed the called me but it went to voicemail, I then proceeded to ask what number did they call and it was my old number, which should be changed 2 weeks when I made the appointment. There is a form you have to fill out each time, that my correct number so the doctor uses that to contact you. I then proceeded to enquirer about the form, to no surprise that (front desk/receptionist) or the doctor couldn’t find. The office is very un professional.

This place is horrible I am a patient there I’m on hold for a very long time any time I call when ever I’d go to my appointment it’s be there way longer than expected last time I was told doctor was running late I had work and went for my break and went back late ..they don’t work with my schedule at all I haven’t been seen in over 4months and pay every month they haven’t called to set up a appointment they are so unorganized and I feel they don’t take my treatment serious for it to cost as much as it does it’s upsetting. Hoping to transfer from here ASAP . Btw don’t waste your time contacting then just go through corporate it’s the only way you can have someone take you serious I called the front desk and she tried telling me I was not a patient there with out asking for enough information then she said she had no manager after claims she’s with a patient instead of asking for a call back number to help me I got put on hold for a VERY LONG TIME ! I read on another review here that’s what they did so I went ahead and contacted corporate this is ridiculous I put my part and pay on time only to get treated this way .

They keep charging after I canceled my contract. Overcharged for everything and all they did was an deep cleaning on my left side. Horrible experience and the workers are rude lying said they manger wasn’t there and she was sitting there the whole time on the phone.

If it were not for Dr. P and 2 other assistants with class I would not continue my treatment at this facility. I questioned a false s statement on a doc and have been ridiculed, treated like a leper by five girls ever since. They didn’t even greet me my last visit! One assistant came from the back and told me “ the dr would be with me shortly.” To Jennifer and Janet and your crew I’ve contacted Corporate! How bout ignoring me after you speak to them! The receptionist tried to tell me I had no insurance. I proceeded to call them and gave her my phone to verify I did! I will never walk away from this type of harassment and bullying! See ya’ll Saturday! BTW the five of them that-pretended to be on cell phones and discussing wedding plans for one of their co workers should have been taking etiquette 101 courses!

I had to have a tooth extraction on Tuesday 10/20/20. My pain tolerance is very low. I informed the surgeon of my low tolerance for pain. He was very understanding & he reassured me if the pain became too unbearable to let him know & he would stop. He not only kept his word, he gave me a little more anesthesia to numb the gums more. He was very comical with a great sense of humor to keep my mind preoccupied as he proceeded. He was the most patient Dentist I have ever met in my life. THANK YOU SO MUCH, DR KERMIT

This dentist office some how found my address, said that I was their patient, I am not and never was. This office is dirty, it’s literally the Walmart of dentist. And seriously who would really trust a dentist that’s literally next to a dollar tree.

My experience here with them is really disappointing. I had an appointment to make tooth extraction on 11/11/2020 and already pre-paid for the surgery before that. And then I wanna cancel this appointment and get a refund because my toothache get relieved and the treatment has an unreasonable high price. However, they can only refund partially because they said a tooth cover was created for me and I have paid for that. That is so ridiculous that i have to pay for something I did not get, and nobody told me that tricky cover was already made for me. They dont give any breakdown of the bill if you dont ask. Not recommend to anyone.

My gripe is not necessarily with the office but it’s their brand so I’m writing a bad review for them. My daughter was scheduled for an appointment here. When we got there, we were turned away because they don’t have pediatric services there daily. Keep in mind, we we’re given no prior notice that the appointment couldn’t be held. So basically my morning was wasted and she could not get a same day appointment. She needs the appointment to enroll into public school so they literally are keeping her from that.

My experience with them was disappointing. The facilities are nice and modern but their service needs improvement. Their office canceled my appointment, rescheduled and then made me wait over 2 hours to get a cleaning. The clerks were annoyed when I asked for updates on why it took so long. My time is valuable to me and when I pay for services that are as expensive as dental service I expect people to be more professional about organizing appointments.

Janet was very cordial and professional with my wife and I. The Dentist seemed perturbed that I was there (no tact or personality). I had to tell her how to correct my partial so it wouldnt dig into my cheek. I am not asking for anything for free since I believe the amount Im paying should include minor adjustments.

I asked them to give me a regular cleaning . The dental doctor refused to do it and they didn’t try to help me. This made me feel like they just wanted my money. I would never go here again. I been to other western dental and I never got a rude treatment which I received from them. Good bye!

The dental assistant Tracey is always so nice. Everytime I visit the office she treats me with professionalism and care. Today my first extraction with Dr Harb went smoothly.

They did not run my insurance prior to me coming to my appointment so I was not able to be seen. I took time off work just to make that appointment. So I had to be rescheduled for an issue that was no fault of mine.

My faith in customer service has finally been redeemed! The front receptionists are friendly and helpful. The back staff are knowledgeable and patient especially seeing as though I had both my children with me. The Carson office is a far cry from the Compton one. These people realize they are dealing with human beings and not just having you wait for extra long periods. They explained everything clearly and got right to work on my deep cleaning. Numbing me, like the Compton office didnt do, while performing my cleaning and only doing 1 side of my mouth 1 week and the otherside the next week made this a much more comfortable experience than my last. The dentist nor the dental hygienist told me this will teach me to floss like at the Compton office during either of my procedures. So Western Dental has redeemed my business.!

I read all of these reviews before I decided to go into the office to try it on my own and I was very hesitant. I do not agree with the previous reviews after my visit because my experience was great! The staff were very welcoming and I was pleased with the professionalism and cleaniness of the office. The staff helped me the most they could to get treatment done based on what I could afford and I would definitely recommend the office to my family and friends.

The worst experience I had in a dental clinic. I was the only patient and I waited for 3 hrs just for the cleaning. I told the staff that I have to go to work at 12 noon and she told me that they are busy when I am the only patient to be attended to and offered me to reschedule my appointment. Maybe they dont want me to do because I rejected the procedure that costs $250 and what I want is only cleaning which is covered by my insurance. They should value my time and do the service I need at that time. I am sorry that I got upset because this is the only spare time I had to see the dentist and I didnt get the service that I need. I am so frustrated with their service.

Unprofessional at its finest. The girls that work the front desk are very snobby and never want to answer simple questions. On top of being snobby they always over book the appointments so even if you have an appointment be prepared to wait at least 2 hours after your scheduled time before actually being seen. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any one i know.

I have been coming to this office for 3 months for a pain in my tooth. Three months and counting I have gotten a root canal and still waiting for the crown. While waiting I have developed a more severe pain in my tooth and jaw from the root canal. The only thing I have to show for the 3 months is a $3000 dollar dentist bill.Now it has been 5 months and still waiting for a crown. I was kept waiting for over an hour and was not seen and still awaiting for a crown. Im done. No more.

After 20 years my dentist sold his business and retired. The new owners were greedy and rude. I started spending money for unnecessary procedures and the moral of the employees went down. I had a lot of anxiety about finding a new Dentist. I no longer feel that way after getting my teeth cleaned today at Western Dental. The front office, dental assistant and Managing Dentist were friendly, prompt and comforting. I guess change is good even after 20 years!

Impersonal and unprofessional. It took 1 hour to take xrays of my teeth. Then the dentist took 2 minutes to look at my teeth and say I have a lot of cavities. Then the insurance rep came over with my information on a paper towel and told me I had 7 cavities and needed a possible crown. (Mind you this was my first time here because of an insurance change and had seen my previous dentist 6 months ago with a clean bill of health). I think they are scamming people and am going to pay out of pocket to get a second opinion. Additionally, I was there for 2.5 hours for the entire visit, and there was staff just sitting around. 1 patient waited in the waiting room for 1 hour before being seen despite this too. I am very unhappy! I was there for a normal exam/cleaning and received no cleaning! This place is terrible, never go!

Rude, rude, rude. From front desk as you walk in to almost the entire staff. Been waiting for a month for authorization from insurance and not 1 call back from BETTY the girl in charge. Ive been calling and nothing yet. So disrespectful!! Staff acts like theyre doing you a favor walking into that business.

I made an appointment 6 months out and have waited over an hour to be seen. Please stop over scheduling to save money. People who have to work and who are on tight schedules should give themselves 2 hours of time to be in and out. The dentist here is great but the service is poor. The orthodontist was very unfriendly and explained nothing to me about future work required. He treated me as if I was wasting his time. Service here is always slow. No improvements have been made.

No harsh feelings; I could see the staff under a lot of pressure and its understandable. I work, myself in the medical field, but unfortunately, I did not like services. I was not explained thoroughly how the braces procedure would be. I started to ask different staff how the procedure may be and the dentist told me about having oral surgery to get a tooth pulled. Im sorry but my tooth is not coming out! I wish someone would have explained to me a little more in details the pros and cons of the braces but, Ill be cancelling the contract thank you06/19/19They are insane $8,500 worth of dental work?! Thats soooo pathetic! 1st of all it does not look hygiene at all, they allow bikes all in there and the kid section is dirty. Anyways, I believe that for all this money I should of had a new grill like Cardi B. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL JACK YOUR MONEY ! I was on time for my appointment and had to wait 1 hour and 15 mins to be seen because they didnt have enough staff working that day. Then right when they called me to the back the young lady who gave me X-rays of my teeth didnt know what she was doing. She would take pictures of the same teeth over and over again because she said the picture wasnt coming out clear it felt like I was getting X-rays on my teeth for a hour. Then waited to be seen by the doctor to get a filling and the took forever giving me 2 fillings tthat a 10 min job. Indent think the doctor knew what she was doing because Im still having some pain as if she didnt fill my teeth right. Not a happier camper

Redirected to the office from my Medi-Cal, and scheduled with the office. Wait time was long, scheduled x-ray exam and routine cleaning and received neither. Did a routine checkup and was told to do deep cleaning, for $99 per tooth and was told to clean 12 tooth. $1200 for a dental visit that didnt do anything I scheduled for.Later, after I changed my office from this place to a much better office, this dental office would still constantly sending you reminder to schedule appointments.I just tried to call so that they can remove my info from contact list, instead the automated phone call is never answered and its an hour and half before the office is closed.Very unprofessional, very unethical, and try to charge you up for things couldve done much more easier and cheaper anywhere else.

Very poor scheduling You show up on time and have to wait for over an hour to be seen. Overcharged for services that states unknown. If you have Insurance, always check your EOB from your Dental Plan and compare it with your out of pocket cost that they charge you and you might be shocked. I dont recommend this place to anyone. For having the name Western Dental, you would think that they would not mislead you, but they do. Oh I have the receipts that they gave me, including what I paid out of pocket and I have my EOB from my Dental Insurance. Being charged for unknown, which is stated on their receipt, is very shady. Very disappointed that this place is Western Dental. Never ever go to this place and I advise to anyone that has, to check what they are being charged for and compare it with your EOB from your Dental Insurance.

So unfortunate that i had to change my insurance let me tell u this place sucks theres one lady that seems to run everyone even the dentist and shes super rude wow i just looked at her and shook my head... bofore she told the dentist she wouldnt do something she had got into it with another employee that wasnt informed ahead of time that she was scheduled somewhere else. I made an appointment sat in the chair just to be told i wouldnt get anything done. I got bk better insurance now, dont know why i even wasted my time using my old insurance going there. Never again.

Dont even think about getting any services on this dental office. The manager wont help customer with billing issue. They billed my mom for a gingival irrigation for my brother which wasnt rendered properly and now they want us to pay $600 including the stuff that they give you and they told us those are free. My brother was seen by a dentist for like 2mins and that was it. We went for a second opinion and our new dentist told us they didnt do nothing. Worst services!!!

This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team is very professional examining and providing with solutions by priority. I had to do a root canal and Dr.Shin did a great job, I felt that I was in good hands. All the people here were very gentle and kind to me. They explained very well what was going on.
