Lisa has so far been very helpful for me. We discuss matters that have been binding me up, but she lets me work out my own decisions in how to handle situations. The last year has been hell for my wife and I. Lisa has kept me from going over the edge. She has helped me see where I am able to set boundaries but also understand I need to respect my wifes boundaries. I couldnt ask for more from a therapist trying to help me through the maze of my own doing.

Lisa is amazing. She is insightful and effective. Her kind spirit and honest and direct communication makes for a very uplifting and eye opening conversation. She’s very supportive and knowledgeable. I appreciate her very much.

My daughter and I really love Lisa and are thankful for her and her help. She has helped my daughter tremendously and also my family with dealing with family issues. She has done wonders and we are very excited about utilizing all the top she has given us.

Gave one star, but only because I had to, to be able to give a review. If ZERO stars were an option, or possibility, it would have certainly been zero. She gives absolutely horrible advice, if you get any at all, and will actually steer you down a path of deceit if you take what she says and apply it to the situation you are dealing with. This pathetic excuse for a counselor advised my wife to lie to me (repeatedly) about significant marital issues we were going through at the time, almost a year ago, which almost caused us to separate. ONLY when the truth was finally told, have we began to heal together, and we are moving past the issues that we were dealing with at the time. I was even asked to attend a session with the both of us during that time period, and went with an attitude of seeking help, and an open mind, so its not like I was some faceless entity to her that didnt really exist. During the visit, I was concerned with all of the Eastern mysticism type of religious objects adorning her office, and with good reason. Any counselor who advises a wife to lie to her (non-abusive..never once) husband is either a fraud or simply bad at their job. Or in her case, I think she had ill will towards us because we are Christians. Either way, Im not here to save anyone their hard-earned money, because thats easily replaced. I just dont want anyone to have their relationship destroyed due to her fundamentally bad advice. My wife and I are blessed that the Lord gave us the strength to endure her taking that bad advice, and we are loving each other, rather than leaving each other. I cannot stress this next sentence enough.. If someone advises you to lie to someone you care deeply for, get a second opinion. We would be a year further down the road of healing, had she not blatantly interferred. There are many, many Counselors and Psychiatrists around the Carrollton area, do yourself the due diligence of looking around. Notice she gave herself a five star review on here.. and also think about the type of person you would have to be to do that. If by some chance you, or a loved one, find themselves under her care, I suggest you run. Fast.
