Frist Let me say that Dr Conners is amazing as a doctor and I have enjoyed having him personally as a Dr. However the office is engaged in fraudulent billing. They make up exam codes to justify increase billing to you and your insurance company. They also use codes for procedures that they DO NOT Preform. I called into their billing person and requested an explanation. I was informed that the procedure I was being charged for was an exam. When I informed the gentlemen that exams are not procedures. according to my insurace company exams are covered under office visits and that the charges needed to be justified or removed. I was informed by him that they were justified by him charging them. He then hung up on me when I insisted they be removed or I would turn it into my insurance company. I am also filing a complaint with the Medical Board. I dont care if a doctor is 5 star they need to start paying attention to other parts of their business and their billing is done. Fraudulent Billing is never okay.

Extremely good Dr. I can say from experience that he is one of the best Dr. Around. I have had unfortunately 100s of them and he is highly superior. Great bedside manner, friendly and explains everything in plane language. Makes you comfortable in a potentially awkward situation.

I was in constant pain for 1 year. I had been hospitalized several times and after 5 consults with various surgeons, I chose Dr. James Conner. Do NOT choose your hospital, choose your surgeon. It will be one of the single most important decisions of your life - He literally saved my life. He is one of VERY few skilled surgeons who have been trained on the Da Vinci Robotic System. Essentially, it is less invasive - less bleeding and very small incisions. He is located directly across from San Juan Mercy Medical - I had visited San Francisco - but they have interns there and you dont want someone learning on your body - take a surgeon who performs this weekly. Dr. James Conner is that surgeon. I understand very few hospitals have the da Vinci Surgical System. The da Vinci Surgical System was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2000. Intuitive Surgical Inc., headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, is responsible for the manufacturing and marketing of the computer-assisted robotic surgical tool. The robotic technology is designed to be used in complex, minimally invasive surgeries requiring smaller incisions. It allows a surgeon’s hand movements to become smaller and more precise as translated via a computer module by the tiny multi-armed instruments inside the patient’s body. The surgical company, noted for “moving surgery forward” with its creation of the one-of-a-kind da Vinci robotic system, states that da Vinci technology is “changing the experience of surgery for people around the world.”Among the benefits Intuitive lists for the da Vinci Surgical System are:Magnified vision systems that allow surgeons a 3D, high-definition view of the inside of the patient’s bodyWristed instruments that possess an ability to bend and rotate at a far greater degree than the human handA laparoscope (thin tube with a tiny camera and light at the end) that helps guide the surgeons throughout the procedure by sending images to a video monitor in the operating room

Dr Connor is a thorough surgeon. He had walked me through everything about my husbands procedures. His follow up and aftercare was above expectations based on other surgeons weve had.
