I’ve been seeing Dr. Velaustegui since 2010. I’ve had a few more surgeries by him since then and the only thing I can fret about are office wait times. I’ve come to learn that’s because he actually takes time to explain all areas around the operation so you understand it. I really appreciate him and his work. Great hands.

Dr Velastegui was a good listener, answered all my questions in detail, was willing to do my husband’s surgery, as a new patient. My husband only spent 1 night in ICU, never had pain, and resumed driving and working a week later. We were so pleased with him that he is doing the next surgery next month

Doctor is very good, treated vericose veins for both legs an Year back and feeling so good now! Never felt pain in legs after. Staff are very friendly. Doctor will be very busy and may not find appointments quickly but worth waiting for this doctor’s time! Strongly Recommend.

Horrible bed side manner. I had to chase him down after my moms surgery only for him to make me feel stupid for asking for an update. He discharged her to soon and blamed us for her lack of recovery.

Dr v is a great doctor and one of the best vascular surgeons in Sacramento I have had excellent outcomes every time i had to have surgery i recommend dr v to anyone who needs surgery he truly treats his patients as if there family I would not recommend another dr over dr v
