I took my 6 year old to Riverview Urgent Care on a Thursday evening, a little past 5 pm. She had been complaining about a sore throat and had a fever. It sounded like they had had a busy day, but we got right in to see a nurse and doctor and they were very quick and efficient. We had never been to a Riverview hospital before, but the process and paperwork we needed to do was very short and quick. They quickly tested her for Strep and Covid and made my daughter feel comfortable the whole time. She ended up positive for Strep. The covid test came back around 10 or 11 am on Friday, and was luckily negative. I was very happy with our experience there and will be returning if we ever end up in need of Urgent Care again.

We’ve been several times and always had such a great experience! Today no wait, walked right in and EMT, nurse and Dr were all waiting in the room for us. All so nice and made my little one feel comfortable. Did a great job listening to my concerns and explaining what they were going to do and why. They also treat my little guy like a VIP every time.. today he got a warmed blanket, snacks, a toy and a coloring book. He sees the office when we drive by and gets excited. Thanks for taking great care of my little man! Would highly recommend to others!

Very helpful, especially Alici (not sure of spelling) in reception. She is always so pleasant & is wonderful about answering questions--even when Ive called several times in the same day!Thank you so much!

A week ago I needed care for Diverticulitis. This facility is wonderful. I was in an examining room within minutes of arriving. One hour later I was leaving, having had tests run , CT SCAN, & meds called in to my Pharmacy. EVERY staff member I came in contact with was professional, efficient, & respectful! This was not my first experience at this location & each experience has always been excellent! Thanks to a great group of Healrh Care workers❣️

Very nice people. Really quick. In and out in 45min. I honestly think they need to change the policy though. I just went in for rapid covid test and they made me have an official visit with MD. Now its going to cost me a lot more money. Lots of other places will just do the test with no additional fees. That part was frustrating.

I would not recommend this for an Urgent Care visit. Our visit took an hour and a half just to get ears checked on a Saturday evening. We were seen by an ER/Urgent care doctor which seemed unnecessary for a simple ear check. And then we were billed 3x the cost of a Minute Clinic visit. Very nice facility and kind staff..... but dont go there for simple off-hours sick visit.

$340 for a COVID test. I guess they thought I had Tricare, which I clearly stated I did not, but they were more than happy to see me and send a bill two weeks later. Stay away, and call your representative to support transparency in medical pricing.

These guys were GREAT! Fast, responsive, so incredibly caring and very knowledgeable staff who really cared about my little guy! Clean facility too! Highly recommend!!

I visited Riverview Health Emergency Room more than once in emergency situations and all the visits were helpful and wonderful. It has a wonderful professional medical crew that does its work accurately, quickly and has very great capabilities who know very well how to use it. And most importantly, they supported my wife, my two daughters, and son psychologically until they overcame severe illness and recovered. I do not want my family and I to be treated anywhere other than Riverview Health Emergency Room. I advise my friends to try their visit, they will definitely change their minds and continue to receive the emergency and treatment from them. I thank you very much and appreciate all your work and assistance to my family and your constant questioning about them after leaving the clinic.

I’m giving 2 stars because until today this has been the gem of Riverview Ers. We’ve come there for non Er related stuff (and they bill urgent care) we’ve been there for Er related stuff (they bill er rates) close to our home. AMAZING NURSES!! All of them! Cannot speak anymore highly of them and their support staff. The disappointment comes from that little line on all discharge pages “return if symptoms worsen”. I called to see if they had any other ideas of things to make me comfortable at home and get me through the night (it’s Sunday). I spoke with the Dr whose last name starts with the same letter as snake. He basically told me they couldn’t help me. (There were 2 more, maybe one more medication they wanted to try but I couldn’t stay because my ride had to be to work) After I questioned him on that, he said well yea come on in and we can try it. But how am I gonna feel comfortable being treated by a dr that I had a disagreement with? No. It was civil but he wanted to be heard more than listening. I’ve NEVER called an ER back in my life…I’m just that miserable. I’ve had too many cruddy Er docs, not because they aren’t capable but because their bedside manner is non existent. Our first visits there have always been awesome. Gender affirming for my daughter, the nurses and docs listen and seem to care. I cannot at all say ANYTHING bad about the nurses…complete legends. But if you have a preexisting condition. Don’t go here. They will call you “too complex” Broken arms and Covid concerns, yea give it a try because the doctors understand that. But if you’re “complex” they will throw their hands up. I literally can’t keep anything down and I’m miserable. They don’t care. Super sad. I can’t go to the main hospital my mom died in that ER. (Plus if you grew up here you know it’s reputation.)

They are efficient, kind and knowledgable. I felt cared for and left with a plan for care if it continued. The next day they checked up on me. If needed i will go there again.

Went when it wasn’t busy waited almost an hour for a Covid test for work…had to ask why I was waiting so long then the doctor come in a min later. Seriously something so convenient taking so long

Care was AMAZING. Unsure the doctor I saw but he was wearing Michigan surgery cap (😒). He was great. He listened to me and re-assured me. He didn’t seem bothered by my hysteria. He recommended meditating and I have done it everyday since! Thank you for being open and available in the middle of the night. Toby, the nurse, was little condescending and short (and i was the only patient there...seriously the nurse who checked me in, Toby and the doc all said it. I will definitely go there again for any Band-aid emergencies.

Darla at check was wonderful. Our nurse Ashley did great with our little one year old as well as the Doctor and Paramedic who was helping with testing.

Was seen immediately and my issues taken care of by the kindest medical staff Ive ever dealt with!

Dr. Walls was incredible, she sat down and genuinely listened to me even when my stories seemed silly or unrelated. She helped me bridge together symptoms and what may cause them. She patiently walked me through treatment options and quickly reassured me that she is always a call away if something changes with me. Incredible experience.

The doctors, Dr. Toussi and Dr. Richardson were very accommodating. They were so nice and made me feel comfortable. Even the nurses and staffs who attended to me were all very nice. I feel at home with people like these in your facility. More blessings.

You have sent me 3 requests to evaluate our experience but never got back to me with test results. I had to call. So although overall experience fine, communication not....

Staff was kind, compassionate and quick!

Scheduled a Covid test for my daughter, was able to schedule by the next day. We also received the test results back within 24 hrs. The staff was extremely helpful answered all of our questions, and we were in and out within an hour.

From the time I entered the facility to the moment I was discharged all of the staff were amazing! The nurses were kind and kept me updated. The doctor did everything he could to ensure i’d be comfortable once I was discharged. I could not thank them enough!!

Excellent experience from beginning to end. It was very easy to make an appt online for covid testing. Walked in for my appt and there was no wait. Staff was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Doctor was thorough and kind. I received my results in 25hrs. Although I am sure this varies based on volume. I had some issues with signing up with MyChart to view the results. I called the office and spoke with Shelly at the front desk. She was nice and the issue was quickly remedied. Glad to have this place so close!

My 18 month old fell, cut his forehead before bed and we didnt know if we should take him to an urgent care or ER with the type of cut it was. We arrived at the ER/UC in Carmel and were seen right away with now wait. We were seen by friendly and professional nurses and doctors. We were in and out of the facility with stitches and instructions for follow-up in one hour. Great experience and great place for care for parents with young ones!

Very fast service, scheduled a Covid test online and they had me in and out in about 10 minutes. Doctors were very nice and thorough and the facility was very clean.

Definitely disappointed in the front/phone staff, but the actual nurses and doctor that helped me were great.I just called to see about Covid testing. I had one that was positive but my husbands has yet to come back from somewhere else. With all this talk of rapid testing and 3 day testing and jobs requiring tests and results and time spent off until tests are back its a little frustrating to wait and not understand the requirements for rapid testing. After the call I felt like I had bothered her and even thanked her for trying to answer my questions and scheduling an appointment so we can be ahead of this.Before I had a chance but once she thought Id hung up she continued to talk with another lady working there about how she shouldnt have even scheduled the appointment and how patients are acting like toddlers (the other lady even saying wah wah wah abnoxiously) and how patients are going to start lying about having symptoms to be able to get the rapid test. Then continued to complain about other staff and doctors helping people and giving them the tests they request. I also got to hear about the dinner they were having. So I hung up and called back to inform them theyd never hung up and I heard everything they said and if they want to sit around complaining their patients were like toddlers they better make sure the phone call has actually ended first. They just said okay. No apology not even a concerned voice.Sorry some of us live on one income and still have bills to pay. So if my husband is out of work for an extra week waiting on a negative test after my symptoms have already gone and Im past the 10 day period thats mortgage payment well be behind. But hey its Christmas Eve and good will and cheer and what not.

Went in for a covid test. The nurse was very rude & stated how its “people like me who still go out, as to why we’re still in a pandemic” & as she was giving me my paperwork to headout also stated “i am required to tell you to quarantine for two weeks even if you get a negative test even though i know you won’t which sucks” for someone who works in the healthcare system, no matter what her opinion is, that is No way to treat a patient. People “like me” still have to go out because we still have to work & provide, we still have to buy groceries. Still have to take the kids to their sitters. It is almost impossible to NOT be around someone who has covid when the country is running like there isn’t a pandemic. So for her to say the things she said was very unprofessional & very uncalled for.

The staff at Riverview Health Emergency Room and Urgent Care are welcoming, professional, caring, clean and provided outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone.

This were fast to get us in and they got us back got and we were there for about 35 minutes then out best place to go

I recently went to this location to get what I thought would be a COVID-19 test akin to other locations, a drive-thru. Nope when you book an appointment you have to go inside and be screened by nurses and have a doctor do a cursory check of vitals. I would not recommend going to this location for a PCR COVID-19 test unless you want to be seen by a doctor. This whole setup felt like a scam to me as the doctor visit is simply lip service to charge you a co-pay for the visit. Go to CVS or Walgreens instead if you want just a COVID test. I feel bad for the staff here who are bringing in presumably COVID symptomatic persons and only wear surgical masks.
