By far the best ED I’ve ever been to. From the tentative and kind ladies at the front desk to the nurses, and especially Dr. Nki, everyone was personable and knowledgeable. I also only waited in the waiting room for my 3 month old to be seen for maybe 5 minutes. Thank you all!

The entire team that was on the staff last night was amazing. They were all very understanding and they made sure they were addressing my concerns for my son. We didn’t fell rushed or like we were not being heard! Thank you IU north ER for taking such amazing care of my son!

I would give zero stars if I could I still suffer from ptsd from my experience here. BLACK WOMEN PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS RACSIT HOSPITAL! Especially if you are having complications in your pregnancy or high risk or anything really stay away! These doctors do not care about women of color they are sick people. Dr Courtney Browne is the reason my baby died. Dr. David L Linton is a liar and would’ve been the reason another one of my children passed. But the second time around i knew better to run far away from this hospital before that happened again. Go to community doctors you will be treated like a human being.

Dont go there for psych help! All though doctor Rose was nice. He didnt help much. Was there for 6 hours. And went home in the psychosis got worse. I dont see why they cant prescribe a anti-psych med that I have taken before. That they have on record!

I have no medical background but honestly, I could run circles around the ER doctor we encountered yesterday.I could go on with specifics, but I won’t here.Go elsewhere.

Dr. Bannec is a horrible doctor and needs his license revoked!! The whole hospital reeks of inadequate and biased care. Very disgusting and disappointing.

They ask you to remove your mask at the door, lol.

Our 18 month old fell and needed stitches on her forehead. From check in to care for our toddler - the ER team at IU North was phenomenal. They were caring, they assessed the situation and explained our options and provided great follow up instructions. Thank you everyone!!

Literally sat in the hall no assessment swabbed for covid told them I was in horrendous pain couldn’t talk couldn’t move and said oh you’re + just go home. Literally ZERO care and will get a bill for thousands - absolutely disgusting and would NEVER go to their Er again - truly worst care when at the sickest I’ve ever been.

Had an unfortunate visit to the ER with my daughter. We received excellent care and felt like our concerns were taken serious and validated. This is our second experience at IU North Emergency Department and both visits have had excellent outcomes.

I went to take my prescription to the pharmacy and I noticed it had another patient’s information on it and the pharmacist wasn’t trying to give me my prescription because the doctors were unprofessional and instead of them giving me the right paper work they just crossed the name out and still accidentally put me and another patients name on my documents.... I don’t recommend this hospital they are slow and very unprofessional and rude....

The individuals checking you in are nice , doctor on call was nice , woman nurse was nice .They could have more sympathy For the patients

IU North is a great hospital with an extremely poor emergency room. Ive been here a ton but never as a patient myself. Extremely unimpressed by the overall manner of the ER care team and there overall lack of care. The hospital itself is 5 star but their ER is disappointing. Whoever is in charge of the ER portion of the hospital should know serious improvements should be made if they actually care about patient care.

We received a huge bill & never saw a doctor after going to the IU North ER for a traumatic head injury. We had 2 P.A.s see our daughter and one had to get the other because she apparently did know what to do with a concussion. To top it off, a nurse came to dismiss us and told us that our daughter could go back to school the next day if she felt like it. Suffice it to say, when we finally saw a real Dr the following week, we received much different input. Well not be going back to IU North for emergency care.

Went to IU North twice in one week and left after sitting in the waiting room for 5 hours both times but never seen by a doctor. I have multiple breaks in my spine and in extreme pain but was told by reception room nurse that there are more people with worst problems than mine. Will never go back to IU North ER again.
