My wife signed up for their membership, and for medical reasons, she wanted to cancel the membership. They allow you to transfer the massages to another person for $20. I used one prior to her canceling, but then when she canceled she had another credit left and since she can’t use it, I planned to use the other one, which they told me I could do when I was checking out from my last appointment. When I called the week prior to schedule I also mentioned that I would be using her last massage, and they told me the only thing that I’d be responsible for would be the $20 transfer fee and tip. I came in for the massage, and when I went to check out, they told me it would be $100 plus tip, because there is some fine print somewhere that says you can only transfer one every 6 months when they told us multiple times that I could use it. After discussion with the front desk staff and the manager, and explaining how I was told not once, but TWICE, that I would only have to pay the $20 the manager threatened to call the police if I didn’t pay the $100. So due to their error, we have already prepaid for my wife’s last massage and been charged $100. Complete rip-off. This is the first time in my life anyone has ever threatened to call the police on me. I will NOT be returning, nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone. Stay away from this place.

I was gifted a hot stone massage for Mothers Day and Jocelyn, my massage therapist, was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! She was very pleasant, professional, and took great care to focus on my problem areas. I honestly cant thank her enough and look forward to scheduling massages regularly, requesting Ms. Jocelyn of course!

I enjoyed my deep tissue torture massage with Sam!! Its not her fault and I very much appreciated her working my knots like a gangster!! I wish the aromatherapy wasnt separate but I did love the scalp massage and sugar scrub on my feets. I will be back and hope Sam will still be there! PS the manager asked if I wanted to try the hydromassage but I was so discombobulated after my massage I had to get home and hydrate fast!! Thank you everybody at MassageLuxe Carmel!!

Basic massage, no frills, ya get what you pay for. The receptionist desk needs to be raised or computer raised because the receptionist was too worried about the top of her blouse being open when bent over. Always a big distraction.

The attitude of the front desk needs replaced. When speaking with the so-called “GM” they said on the phone that they knew I had a poor experience, forwarded it onto management that they should expect a call but didn’t actually do anything to resolve. When you look at the other reviews it is pretty consistent, poorly run operation and management.

I had the same problem as many reviewers regarding the subscription. I was told I could cancel any time. When I called to cancel they told me the fine print said you have to wait at least a month to cancel. Next time, read the fine print, even at a massage place. Another example of being told something when you sign up and it ends up being a completely different deal.

This was my first time ever getting a massage. The location was easy to find and the receptionists were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was so calming and clean. The check-in process was easy and quick. I was offered tea or water while I waited. My massage therapist did amazing and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I also was able to try out the Hydromassage and it was very cool. I loved it enough I already booked 2 more massages and cant wait!

I dont typically write reviews, but I just went to Massage Luxe in Carmel yesterday and it was by far the worst massage of my life. I dont even know if you can even consider it a massage. The lady didnt even massage my arms! How on earth??? Im very disappointed. I have been a member here for a couple years now. I feel like they ripped me off so badly and I want my money back it was that bad. :(

Wonderful experience! April was by far the BEST massage tech I have ever had. She concentrated on the areas I expressed that needed attention and was very thorough. She has a wonderful demeanor. The salon was great. No high pressure sales pitch to try and get you to buy a package or anything. Very nice staff.

Signed up for membership, 1 month before covid hit. Once shut down happened & essential bus order in place could not receive service. Called 3 weeks to have payment stop. No one would help, management never called back. Put hold through my cc company. Have not been in this place since Feb. 2020. In July, I received 4 charges with no warning, letter or call to even notify me they were open. To intentionally harm a customer financially in a world wide pandemic is tacky & deceitful. This is not a company, I would ever recommend. Their goal, is not customer care or basic morality principles. Too many business around that value their customers, to waste time with this one! Run!!

Despite any previous reviews, my review is based on my direct dealings with management. Great guy; Chris is funny, considerate and very helpful and I can tell he loves his job.

First visit today and I had a great experience! Anthony was fantastic and is very knowledgeable. The staff are friendly and the location is convenient with great hours for working professionals. I highly recommend. You don’t have to have a membership, but the are very reasonable. Looking forward to my next visit.

I dont typically write reviews good or bad but feel compelled to share my experience. I have been a member here for over a year. As of the last 4 months I have seen service decline. I have not been able to even get in to get a massage. I called a few weeks ago and decided to book an appointment the soonest I could get in was in a couple of weeks. When I asked about weekend availability, using ANY therapist I was told they were completely booked for the next few weekends. Today they called me to cancel the appointment I had scheduled 2 weeks ago. I told them about my frustration and she told me they sold a lot of gift cards and that was the reason for being so busy. So I have a monthly membership that I pay for and cannot get in because they sold a lot of gift cards. Needless to say I canceled and had to give up 3 unused massages I had paid for. If you want a massage I would suggest buying a gift card instead of a membership you may be able to get an appointment.

I dont recommend going here unless you want to be treated horribly by the staff and management. I have never encountered a company that cares so little about not keeping to their own policies or communicating them with their customers. Once they do not communicate the policies with you theyll retroactively tell you about them so that they lock you into your agreement just to make more money. Its really all they care about.

Went there after being recommended by a friend. Reception staff girls had an attitude, not welcoming and gave off a very “mean” attitude with their looks at us. The massage itself was a waste of my money & time, the lady talked the whole session, didn’t bother focusing on the areas I wanted & I just wanted to get over with it! Best part was the hydra massage. I paid in total over 200$ excluding tips. Waste of money. They should hire more friendly receptionists, a smile wont hurt, and have higher professional standards for the masseuse

Tony was my therapist. The man has skills that back his knowledge. Highly recommend if you want a therapist with working knowledge of the body and someone who pays attention to your needs the whole experience

My husband got me a gift certificate for Christmas. I cashed it in over the weekend. I loved my facial. She had a lot of experience and my face feels great. Sam did an amazing massage. The best i have received. I got the membership and i cant wait to go back. The hydro was awesome.

Be careful with this place though. I was brought there through Groupon deal, the facility was not bad, the clerk there then get me into a membership program although I am a traveler and thought about enjoying it every time I am at Indy.However its really hard to use the credit since they are not flexible, they have all kind of rediculous rules and forms for you to sign.Advice: ok to try it out, but never join the membership.

Found a groupon and called up for a same day appointment on a Friday. Luckily they could squeeze me in. This place was great. Staff was friendly and efficient. Ambiance was relaxing- soft music everywhere and it smelled absolutely amazing. My therapist Jacklyn did a great job and I would recommend this place to everyone.

Ive been a member here for quite a while. Some therapists are great - Christy, Sam - while others are NOT. If you get a bad masseuse for your one monthly credit, you are out of luck. My last straw? My massage this week was horrible, and not even kind of a deep tissue like I requested. Then, at the end, she announced I had a LUMP on my neck and should seek medical attention. There was absolutely nothing there, but I spent money to get it checked out anyway. Guess what? The only thing my doctor could feel was a TIGHT MUSCLE. Isnt being able to identify that the therapists job? Their ONLY job? So you might get a great masseuse - or an improperly trained amateur. More stressed out after than before this massage 😡

This was my first time here and the woman I got was very calm and made sure you were comfortable. I was gifted the massage from a Groupon so I gave her the tip. The man in the front asked if I was going to put the tip on a card and I said no I gave it to her already. He then tried to sell me a package and I declined it, which he then when went on to say, well if you dont like saving money then okay. I felt like it was very judgemental and unprofessional. I would come back in the future to have a massage but reception needs to find a different way to approach people about selling.

Sam was really nice and pleasure to talk to, but I hear she left. I have 6 hours banked because I did the membership and COVID-19 came. I was going to gift an hour, but now find out I can only do that once per 6 months. So many rules that I didnt know. I just want to cancel and find another place, but then I have to use my PAID hours within 60 days. Im fed up with this place. If I quit the membership Ill lose any hours not paid for after 60 days. Such a rip off. Avoid this place! Do NOT buy a membership!!! You were warned! Other dissatisfied people should like every negative review to show unity and make someone change this place positively.

I went in for a facial, it was my first time here and I had the pleasure of having Kendall. The ambiance is perfect in the room. I was expecting to be riled up as I had just left work but I felt my body relax and start to drift away. The facial came with a shoulder, chest and neck massage, which was nice. Kendall addressed my troubled spot and recommended product to help my oily skin. The facial lasted an hour, it was perfect.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. They pushed the monthly membership on me. I was told I had to cancel as of the 13th of the month. Well I called on the 13th and they already charged my card yesterday. They said they can’t give me a refund. If you can charge it you can reverse it.Steer clear many others out there.

Its fine, massage was good and the first time price is reasonable. Felt sore afterward so I know she got the knots out. Other staff was really pushy about selling more massages, packages, or monthly memberships. Very forward about it and not persuasive at all, came off way more demanding or judgemental in tone.

Has came here with 2 of my friends for a Massage. The Massage over is great I really like the lady I had. I forgot her name but the live about 45 mins away as i remember. She did an awesome job I would love to come back and see her, but the girl in front, the host. I feel like she judging people, I personally feel that she treated us different. When i get a Massage I normally dress pretty comfortable (comfy pants, and just a tshirt). Im sure she think all this lady probably dont have money and stuff, we all use groupon with our Massage..... is there for us to use so i dont see why we being treated differently. Than the place shouldnt advertise it. Hopefully they will have a talk with there worker and not judge other people by the way people dress and by the outside look!! Sad it a pretty nice place.

Poor customer service! I was told about a 2 month special and that I wouldnt be charged after the 2 month ended. Their agency proceeded to continue taking payments out of my account when I specifically said not to.

This place is totally unwelcominng and makes you feel bad about yourself if your on the heavier side. Its more important to spend your money locally and support small business owners. Theyre so many locally owned spas that deserve your money more than this large franchised companies.

I’m not doing any treatments currently and have not for quite sometime...VERY UNPROFESSIONAL the way I was spoke too! Not sure if it was because I was a new client or because I had a Groupon or what but I arrived 10 minutes before the suggested 5:45pm to fill out waivers/paperwork etc. and finished pretty quickly leaving me to wait a little while. What irked me was that another gentleman was called back before I was but I guess the schedules run differently from person to person. No biggie.I appreciated that although the massage ran a little late (not by much; 5 minutes max), the time was made up. Jacklyn was great! Professional for sure. It was a little strange that I said I had lower back pain and most of the session was focused on the upper but i guess I had a lot of tension there. Any which way, she’s the professional and I felt great afterwards.If you absolutely despise those who smoke, she may not be the masseuse for you

I LOVE this place! I joined the once a month program with unlimited HydroLuxe table use. Its the best deal AND Sam is the best massage therapist for deep tissue work. Like their Facebook page and get a first time discount! The staff is very welcoming and make you feel like youre the best! I hear there are others, but my favorite is 116th St.

My wife had a facial yesterday. She has had hundreds of facials in her life, and since we live within a close proximity she thought she would try this place out. From the minute she walked in the receptionist was unprofessional taking a personally call. The esthetician was inexperienced.She asked if she had any extra training and she said no. She needs it.Beauty facility but that is not why my wife went there.

When booking the appointment, I had planned on using my entire $125 gift card because I do not live in the area and I typically trade massages locally with other MTs. I inquired about a 2 hour hot stone. The woman I spoke with said they do not do an intro rate for full body hot stone (so it would be over $200), however we could do an intro 2 hour Swedish with a $14 hot stone enhancement. I asked how much the 2 hour intro massage would be and she informed me it was $97. Great! I could use that and do the enhancement and nearly use up my gift card. Perhaps buy product or give the leftover money to the MT as an additional tip along with cash.Ive been a massage therapist for several years. Ive worked in chains/franchises, private establishments, salons, an airport, and now work for myself. Ive had many massages, but Sam was AMAZING. She addressed all my issues with the best care and was very professional. The entire massage experience was perfect!Until I went to check out.When given my total I was concerned that it was $214. Thinking maybe they accidentally rang up a full body hot stone, I asked how much the hot stone portion cost. She told me $14. Making the massage portion $200, not $97. When I said I had only planned on the intro rate plus cost of the enhancement, I was told there is no intro rate for even the regular 2 hour Swedish. Another employee confirmed this. Now Im not doubting these employees at all, they were doing their job. But I still feel scammed. It seems like I spoke with someone who did not know the right pricing model or there was some serious miscommunication. Either way, this could have been avoided. After feeling so relieved and relaxed from Sams hard work, I was tense again and still am as I refigure my budget for the rest of the month.I realize I just got an incredible 2 hour massage with hot stones for only $89 out of my own pocket and I should be grateful, and I am! However, that was still an unexpected expense on my already tight budget. And it could have been totally avoided if there were better communication or training on the front desk end.With all that said, MassageLuxe is very lucky to have such a gifted therapist like Sam. I wish her well in her career and hope I can cross paths with her again. However, I wont be visiting this establishment again.

I have been there 3 times and each time I get a service of 30 minutes only . I try to cancel my contract and the manager told me that I cant and I will have to pay even if I do not like the service. She was extremely rude so I asked her to let me speak to the owner and he or she never called me back . I will never go back there neither I recommend it .
