Greatly improved! Employees used to be rude & unhelpful. Thankfully that has changed because its very convenient for La Costa residents. They are closed for lunch daily. Call for times.

I would leave the pharmacy a zero star if I could. The pharmacy wouldn’t let my wife pick up my medication even though she is my wife. The staff were completely rude and belittled her to the point where it impacted her mental health. I would use literally any other pharmacy than this. The male technician, Francis, was especially rude and demeaning and probably should find a different line of work if he doesn’t know how to properly communicate with others.

Do not waste your time with this pharmacy. Rude staff and always delayed with filling orders. Will call you and tell you to pick up your script and then when you arrive, they claim they haven’t gotten your order. Horrible experience every time.

They refused a prescription I needed urgently for dental pain because apparently my dentist had made a mistake writing the date. Took it to the ER and they said there was nothing wrong with it.

This is my pharmacy and I’ve been pleased. However, unless you call the number, you won’t know they’re closed for lunch between 1-2 pm for 30 minutes. It’s not stated on this review page. It just says ‘open 9am-9pm’

Ive had very efficient experience at this pharmacy. Never any trouble filling my prescriptions. Be sure not to visit between 1-2 because they have their lunch break at that time. Did make that mistake once.

Jan 28 2: 14 pmcalled to refill my rx A. Manager told me the prescription is no longer with them (it’s at Tahoe Safeway) and I need to call Tahoe Safeway and have them transfer the prescription. Manager tells me once I call to transfer the prescription then it will be ready. I called Tahoe Safeway and they say they are not allowed by law to transfer prescription on my request and that the pharmacy has to call and transfer itJan 28 2:20 pmI call Vons manager back to tell them that Safeway says they have to call and request it transferred. Vons manager continues to repeat that Safeway has to transfer it and I have to call Safeway to do it. Says “you people” don’t ever listen, in response to me saying again I called Safeway twice after Vons manager told me to and Safeway says they legally cannot and that Vons has to do it. Called Dr to schedule appointment next day, got prescription and electronically sent over and handed an in person prescription off.Feb 6 4:00 pmCalled to see if rx A was filled yet. It wasn’t, I ask what’s goin on, that I already went through an emotionally exhausting confusing conversation with someone else and detailed the history. I get hung up on.Feb 6 4:04 pmCalled back, was infuriated I was hung up on and now was speaking to a different person who asked who I had previously spoken with, “the other woman” “can you be more descriptive?” “I was just on the phone with her she must still be there” “I’m sorry I don’t know who you could have spoken with, it’s just me here” and I exclaimed “omg! Who was it?” “I don’t know anything else, I’ve only spoken to her on the phone, I know she was a woman and maybe asian” “i don’t mean to sound racist, but I’m the only asian one here” “i don’t know what else I could tell you, I didn’t see her, I don’t know anything about her, and I told you everything I could possibly—“ “oh, is this about rx A?” “yes, it is” “oh yeah, I heard about that, yeah, that’s my manager, she’s asian, she’s not here right now and she’s the one you’d have to talk to about a complaint”later that day I got a text that my prescriptions were ready, I went to pick them up, and the woman handed me a card with the general Vons pharmacy number and said I’d have to talk to the manager for a complaint and there’s no other way to do it.I didnt end up filing the complain, I had rationalized not to. Then this week I went to drop off another in person prescription and they said they wont serve me anymore because of my racist comments during my last visit. I asked what comments, they said they dont know, theres a note in my file and im not welcome there anymore. I asked how do I remedy this because ive been coming here all my life and he said ill have to call the manager who wont be back for a couple days. I called, left a message, and no response.1. Its unprofessional for the misinformation and incorrectly bullying me about my prescription2. Its unprofessional to repeatedly hang up on customers.3. Its unprofessional and allows for abuse that theres no way to file a complaint except to speak with the manager4. Its unprofessional, an abuse of power, and jades the magnitude of a serious issue to label a customer as racist and unable to be served with no checks and balances5. Its unprofessional to not call a customer back when theyve left a message

Unfortunately I have to give the pharmacy 2 stars. They are very busy and short staffed. The people that work there are helpful, this is a management issue. Try calling them during peak hours and you will not get through, usually the call drops. I am a prescriber and today have called at least 20 times unsuccessfully.

The pharmacy is terrible. They never have my prescription. My doctors office has called twice and they claim they dont have it. Ive been there multiple times because it is across the street from where I live; but honestly Id rather drive 20 miles than have my prescriptions sent here. Ive never had this much trouble anywhere else.

I was really sick and went cross street to La Costa urgent care, had to pick up meds here, great service and was @ Pharmacy here. Was certainly treated better than elsewhere although it seems like a busy pharmacy and under staff.

This pharmacy is one of the best I’ve went to, the manager is really informative and her hand’s are very light when taking shots, I didn’t even feel it, thank you Rola ☺️

Today was the fifth time i arrivedto pick up an expected prescription, however as like the other four times it was not to be found. Each time its usually a different excuse. Do these people think I have nothing better to do than make multiple trips to their pharmacy? I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Worst Pharmacy Ive ever been to. Worst staff, rude and frankly they are just there for a pay check. This place should be shut down.

This is a bad place for ground beef, spinach, and um yeah anything. My ground beef totally smelled of ammonia......Google it. The spinach well that I just shouldnt have bought.

You said meds would be ready in 20 minutes...an hour and a half ago.

Great pharmacy, nice people at the Starbucks, great deli and a Panda fast food outlet also.

.Her name on her tag was:Lindar. She put wet vegetables beside the bread crumbs in plastic bag while she was talking with his coworker all the time.Bread crumbs got wet when i came come.

I have tried giving this place a try multiple times but their service is just horrible and they always make my drink wrong! also my nieces have passed by after school and they are just so rude. Not very happy with this place.

If they are like the general checkout, theyll overcharge you and make pricing errors in their favor.

The hours are wrong here. This place is open at 9 am to 8 pm. Not the same as the hours of the store.
