I get my medication quickly from them and havent had any problem. Only hassle is I have to call in every month to refill instead of using the website, something about my medication doesnt let me do it online. I especially appreciate their environmental efforts. They have changed their packaging to remove all styrofoam and now use recycled cloth insulation and plant friendly ice packs, which is great!

Inadequate/Inferior services when getting medication sent out properly

I wanted to like OptumRX. I thought it would be simpler to use a mail service than going into a pharmacy. I WAS WRONG. I spoke to the same person on the phone twice to try and get my prescription mailed to me. they wouldnt contact my current pharmacy to start the transferring process, making it so I had to miss multiple days of my daily medication. I would avoid OptumRX at all costs, and if your insurance requires it, OPT OUT ASAP.

They called my old doctor to refill a prescription without my knowledge. They told me I had signed a disclaimer. They also changed a prescription without asking my doctor. (changed the dose). I would never used them unless I had too.

Rude terrible service (if you can call it that) from employee Joe Banci. He is more interested in his personal social media and texting on work hours than answering questions and helping customers. I would shop elsewhere because of this employee. CVS is around the corner and far better service.

It is a company that send prescriptions by mail. It is totally mechanized and drugs are filled in the bottles automatically. You can order your prescription online and they send it to your home. It is a great company.

Every three months when I try to reorder my prescription from Optum Rx I have problems. Each time I have to re-enter several times, my user name and password and all the other details like my phone number, mothers maiden name etc etc. This is the third time that has happened to me and I am going to go to CVS. It will take me less time to drive there than all the time it takes me trying to get into the Optum Rx site!

Nothing but trouble since I was forced to change to this pharmacy in January 2017. Pre-Authorizations requested for medications that didnt require one. Numerous phone calls-too many to count requesting I verify my address or verify that I want a prescription refilled when I have already made a request to refill. On five separate occasions I have requested a medication that needed a refill and OptumRx never sent a request to my medical provider. I have received several phone calls requesting I go over my medications and why I am taking them-none of their business. The latest in a long list of offenses: OptumRx sent me a controlled substance that was not prescribed for me. When I reported this to OptumRx they blamed my medical provider. My medical provider did not send a prescription for the medication OptumRx sent me, they sent a prescription for a medication that had the same first two letters in the name. OptumRx has the worst customer service of any place I have had contact with in my lifetime. There was one person named Cooper that was nice and tried to fix errors on my case. Thank you Cooper!
