The problem is that I rarely see Dr. Miller. 99% of the time I see his Physicians Assistant that thinks they know everything. He has way too many patients and too busy to have a one on one with each patient.

Dr. Miller seems to be a knowledgable M.D. However his office is so busy it is run like a factory. Some staff members have been very rude and dont always have an question answered for a few weeks. Why I am ceasing from having this office treat me again.

Dr. Nathan Miller almost ignored me to death. After an invasive procedure Dr. Miller did on my lower back, a Pseudomonas infection started growing in the same place - almost certainly caused by the procedure. But whats worse, he then ignored the increasing pain for 6 weeks - just prescribing higher and higher doses of Oxycontin. It was only when I went to another doctor did I get an MRI, which showed the infection. The new doctor called me in the middle of the night ordering me to the ER. Doctors at the hospital said I was lucky to have survived Dr. Millers care. The mortality rate for this kind of infection is 40%, if treated in the first 30 days. Dr. Miller let this go on for at least 45 days. The last time I tried to see Dr. Miller, he personally made an appointment to do an epidural to ease the severe escalating pain. When I got to the office for the appointment, I was told he had gone home for the weekend. That was the end - I sought another doctor, who saved my life by paying attention to my symptoms, ordering an MRI, and following up by sending me to the ER. I advise everyone to avoid Dr. Nathan Miller. Hes careless and can be dangerous to your health.

I have a very long history of back problems due to numerous spinal deformities.Dr Miller has been helping me with a Neurostimulator first. That helps me a lot.Later we decided to put in a morphine pump. This is a great tool to reduce pain for those that do not want opioids. I know that sounds odd but the tiny amount of morphine is dripped into the intrathecal space. (Think Epidural space).Due to the delivery system there is no measurable morphine in my blood but I get a lot of relief because the chemical is nearly injected into the spinal cord. For those of you with chronic pain that do not want pills these two procedures are a good choice.Dr Miller has been my pain MD for 7 years.I do not use pills and he is not a pill pusher.I would rate him a 5 if he was just a bit easier to get to.But given our aging population and the status of medical care I can wait a little for the best.
