Please do not take children to this so called therapist. She has fallen asleep during sessions with my 8 year old. Extremely unprofessional and unethical.

Please do not put yourself or loved ones through dealing with this “therapist”. Reiterating many other parents experience she saw my stepson without his fathers consent. He had joint legal custody. He now has sole custody. His ex wife was being “treated” first then brought in their son unbeknownst to him. Unethical and dangerous. Sherry said my husband was only allowed to come to therapy because she allowed it. Sherry then showed up to court for his ex wife making outlandish claims but ultimately only made the case stronger for my husband. She still has not provided any paperwork for “treating” my stepson after the court requested it. Shameful dangerous person should not have a license.

The other reviews sum it up. Talked on and on at me about her own shocking trauma. Barely let me get a sentence out. No sense of time, constantly late. I really think she needs to see a psychiatrist. Spent half a session pitching me on seeing another doctor friend of hers. Now hounds me for bills through an impossible billing system.

She is an excellent counselor. Very effective problem solver. Her dedication, humanity, education and support are impeccable. I have moved on with my life.Her ability to ascertain ones root issues is uncanny. She possess skills to directly address the issues head on. It is obvious that she keeps current in her field and uses many modalities for effective problem solving.

Reading the other comments is honestly so upsetting to me. I’m a current client of Sherry’s and to call her a horrible therapist couldn’t be any further from the truth. Sherry can be blunt at times but it is truly for your own good. If you are an extremely and I mean extremely sensitive individual then yes I would agree that maybe you need to see someone else. Everything she does/says is in your best interest. During my year of seeing her I can only say that I have experienced nothing but compassion from the woman and I can confidently say that I believe my mental health has gotten better. Sherry is so wise and genuinely cares for her clients, I’d recommend her to anyone I know.

This lady should not be counseling people and I truly believe she needs counseling herself.My first appointment started 30 minutes late, with absolutely no warning. I just sat in her freezing cold waiting room wondering when it was going to start. She also forgot that we started 30 min late, and I had to remind her half way through the meeting. For literally half the meeting, she talked about herself, and told me long, drawn out stories that didnt have anything to do with me or what we were talking about. She also interrupted the meeting twice, by answering her mothers phone calls with no urgency to get off the phone. I felt like I could have done a better job than her conducting the meeting. The second meeting was late too, but my wife was involved. We were waiting in the parking lot for her to let us know when she was ready for us to come up, and we finally gave up. I texted her and told her that she is unprofessional and this is not going to work. She said she was on a emergency phone call, and then later in text she said she was in a in-person appointment. We caught her in a lie! When I called her out on it, she just kept texting me and badgering me, so I had to block her number and try to forget about her. I called my provider and told them what happened, and they were repulsed. This is a 70 year old lady that is obsessed with herself, and her office looks like my great great grandmas bedroom. After my experience with her I feel violated. It wasnt even worth the $20 copay. This lady needs to retire ASAP before she makes peoples lives even worse. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and find another counselor!!!! Anyone but her!!!!!

Shes absolutely the worst. Unprofessional, highly opiniated and judgmental that she gave me a terrible advice that worsen my situation. She cannot withold her own petty opinon and doesnt conduct herself professionally. Shes always late to her sessions and often doubled books and cancels last minute while I am waiting at her waiting room. She doesnt even deserve one star.

This is by far the worst therapist ever!!!! She puts words in our childs mouth and trys to convince our child that her parents are bad. She lied to me directly! She said she doesnt work with children our childs age but she started seeing our daughter behind my back. As she was being subpoenaed for court, she became missing. This id by far the worst therapist ever!!! Read the other comments!!! Its all true. Pull her license!!!!!

My husband and I took our daughter who is struggling with childhood trauma and several times Dr. Hulstine didnt even show up and left us standing in the hallway waiting. She would not call to advise us of emergencies. Now shes billing us for dates we did not see her and also did not use EAP sessions we provided. Were currently battling insurance to dispute charges.

Unprofessional. She breached professional guidelines and saw my children against my consent.

Constantly cancelled or did not show up for appointment after i was already waiting in the waiting room.
