I love the friendly and professional manner of all the Riverview staff. It is a great place to go for stress-free dentistry. Patient comfort is a priority. Offers many services including crowns and dental implants, which I did not expect to find so close to home. Dr. Felt takes great pride in his work and stands behind it. 5 star quality in Carlsbad! Youre immediately greeted by kind and courteous staff, then taken back to discuss your teeth goals and build your file. I dont think I ever waited more than 5 minutes and felt as though my time was truly valuable to them. They use top of the line technology so you dont have to wait for weeks for crowns to come in, they print it right there for you! Highly recommend for the busy professional who has places to go and people to see. Do keep in mind, however, that full payment is due at time of service. Then they help you send in for insurance reimbursement by giving you an envelope with all of the paperwork already completed and certified US postage already applied. If you have the savings to float, I would pick Dr. Felt hands down. :)

I live in Carlsbad, NM, a few years back I was told I needed a root canal & would have to go out of town, I couldnt go out of town, I called around & found out Dr. Felt does root canals. 2020 my tooth had to be pulled, I decided on a Tooth Implant, went to Dr. Felt, there are steps that a tooth implant requires, I recently received my implant & I Love it. Dr. Felt is Meticulous, Professional & Considerate. His Staff is also Top-Notch.

I felt very safe with the COVID precautions taken. The staff was very professional and the Doctor was very thorough. Before the procedure he explained what was going to done and what I could expect. I felt at ease and was pleased with the work he did. The dentist I went to for most of my adult life retired approximately 5 years ago. I’ve been looking for another dentist to visit on a regular basis. I believe I found the place for me.

Riverside Dental has been my provider since I relocated to Carlsbad. Several years ago. I had a previously installed bridge that failed and led to an infection at the base of a molar which was also one of the anchors. Surgery was the only option to quell the infection. This was the third time the bridge had given me issues. After a consultation with Dr Felt, I decided to invest in implants. The team at Riverside provided me with excellent care through every stage of the process. All my questions and concerns were immediately addressed. Today, the bridge is gone and I have implants in its place. I can’t say enough about the professionalism and care I have received from everyone at Riverside Dental.

I am so glad I FINALY found a dentist who will listen to my wants and my concerns and actually genuinely care about my teeth. Dr. Felt is Ana amazing, kind, genuine dentist and I am blessed to have chosen him.

River view Dental care gave mem the best dental experiences I have had in over 50 years. My husband & I had some complex issues from crowns to reconstruction to denture implants. They handled it all. I really liked how Dr. Felts & staff addressed my concerns in a friendly & thorough manner. They also did what they could to hold down the costs. Thanks RDC.

I give no stars the worst dental experience I have had in decades. Front Office Associate Bethany told me with both of my insurance cards in hand that I was going to be totally covered for my cleaning as she claimed to diligently work on her computer right in front of me to cross check my in-network coverage with their office as providers. Low and behold I get a bill for $150 for a CLEANING!!!! I am 100% covered for a cleaning!!!!! Always when in network like Bethany said I was. I wished I had checked for myself, how embarrassing for her and extremely aggravating for me. After years of asking them to be an honorable business and accept responsibility for their mistake they refused and I now have a collections on my credit report and have lost 65 points on my credit score. This office has disappointed on so many levels. I wish I still lived there so I could protest and discourage others from bothering to enter the building.

Went for a routine insurance covered cleaning. At the end of visit I was told I would have to pay over one hundred dollars for visit and then send a form to my insurance to get my money back. Unacceptable. My insurance covers cleaning at 100 percent and the Dentist was in-network. I have never been to a dentist where they do not do their job to file with insurance. Everything is available and viewable online. Unsatisfactory and very lazy on the Dentist part. Save yourself the headache and do not ever go here.

Dr. Felt has been myDentist ever since he opened his practice in Carlsbad. He and his staff have always given me the me the very best service possible.

First I had a exam from Dr Felt, he asked a lot of questions, he cared about my teeth, from my questions he figured out I needed a teeth guard, and had one made right then. I had my cleaning, and as I did fish jumped from out the picturesque window, it was lovely, and the hygienist was extremely careful and quickly worked pleasantly asking me things that made my experience wonderful. The front desk and billing department was so pleasant to work with, and my entire experience was excellent all around. I would recommend Riverview Dental Care Office to everyone!

Im new to Carlsbad and had gone to a few other dentists here for a problem I was having. They all referred me to dentists in Texas because they couldnt help me.Thank goodness a friend referred me to Riverview Dental Care. Dr. Felt took care of my problem right away, right here in Carlsbad! Yay! No long out of town commute to see a dental specialist that I may or may not have liked.Not only is Dr. Felt a world class dentist, he also cares very much about his patients and is warm and friendly.His staff is thoughtful, caring, kind and have stellar customer service skills.The office is spotless and they have all the latest technology.An added bonus at least for me was looking out of a huge picture window to see wildlife and the beautiful river while having the procedure done. Its so peaceful.Its such a pleasure to go to this office and to know that I am in great, professional hands. Dr. Felt is my new dentist for life.I cant recommend Riverview Dental Care highly enough. I am terrified of dentists and have a history of white-coat hypertension. Dr. Felt and his assistants were fantastic and accommodating. Great location and calming view from the exam rooms.

This was my first visit to Riverview. I am from out of state and had a dental emergency. I had a jaw tooth that was hurting so bad and needed it to be pulled. Everything had went well up till I met the dentist and he did not want to pull my tooth I told him the reason behind the tooth and that my dentist at home knew that we needed to pull it. He wanted to do a root canal and crown or an implant. Im sure I made him mad when I said all I want is for it to be pulled. He said well I cant do it today just go up front and they will schedule you to come back. So I thought ok as I asked the lady at the desk she said the earliest would be 3 weeks! All I got to say is listen to your patient its there teeth. I would not recommend this dentist unless your ready to spend a lot of money.

Not sure of Dr. care here because we were never given the opportunity to try. Asked for a consultation for an extraction and a temporary flipper but was given a full exam. This Dr. wants what HE wants not what the PATIENT wants. I understand a patient needs what he/she needs but can only get what he/she can afford. This Dr. refused any treatment because we didnt get all treatment he recommended. So instead of giving a patient what he/she can afford he will only give what is told. Sounds like he is all about the DOLLAR instead of patient care. Since I dont hate anyone or anything I will rate as a *Dislike*

I love having my teeth worked on at Riverview, whether it is getting them cleaned, or having something done! I love the view and Dr. Felt and the hygienists are so nice!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I dont like to go to the dentist but this bunch is wonderful. The view from the treatment room is great.

Very professional and caring staff. Beautiful view of Lake Carlsbad as you are in your chair or you can choose to watch TV. I received immediate attention for my pain and ended up with significant work done. I experienced no pain whatsoever. The staff is extremely pleasant.

Very nice staff and facility, Dr. Felt very professional, proactive and thorough. Have had them do cleanings every six months and a fairly major reconstruction of a few cracked teeth, was always pleased. They provide you with a nice travel kit with a branded Oral-B toothbrush after every visit. Their billing for preventative services was always paid in full by my dental insurance (United Concordia High PPO plan).Unfortunately, in 2017 they dropped off the in-network list for my insurance plan, resulting in new, and not insubstantial co-pays for all services. Checked with the office to see if they were in-network with any other insurance plans, and was told no, except for one procedure with Delta Dental.Dr. Felt had suggested in the past to use an HSA instead of paying insurance premiums, which is good advise until you have need of an expensive procedure. Once you spend all the pre-tax funds in your HSA, the remainder of the bill becomes yours to pay. With insurance, those catastrophic (read expensive) procedures are at least partly paid for.The office manager was understanding and accommodated my request for a copy of my dental records, pictures, and x-rays to take to an in-network provider. I wouldnt be changing providers if the new copay amount wasnt so significant. Insurance companies have their own ideas of what are fair and reasonable charges, and unless the dentist agrees to accept the insurance companys payment amount (in-network), you pay the balance.Again, the service at Riverview Dental is impeccable, and the staff is without exception great at what they do, no complaints at all, and recommend Riverview Dental and Dr. Felt... just be prepared to pay the difference between what your insurance company will pay for a procedure and what the dentist office charges.
