I came in to get my first adjustment ever and have to admit I was a little nervous. The last time I had somebody crack my neck I was 16 and gave into peer pressure of my high school friends who had no idea what they were doing but could crack necks… I was greeted by Karissa who was exceptional! I have been in treatment with Dr Kat and Dr Paul for a ruptured lumbar disc and sciatica. When I first started I had been hurting for 8 months. I couldn’t sit or drive, and I was constantly in pain. Been going to New Wave Chiropractic for many years. They are the BEST!

Dr Kat is gifted at what she does! She listens to what I say and how my body is unique. She takes time to educate me on spinal patterns and chiropractic care. She caters her adjustments according to my individual needs in general and current needs on the day I come in. In just a few adjustments my low back pain that I came in for was corrected, but we also noticed and began to address a neck issue no one had taken the time to discover before. In a month I’ve gotten my neck curve back (which will prevent further degeneration and has allowed more functional movement in my neck) and now we are fine-tuning my spine and the accommodations my body has made to this misalignment. I’m staring to feel whole and youthful again! I’m so glad I found New Wave!

I have been to other chiropractors but NEVER had the treatment and care that I received from New Wave! He took his time to genuinely figure out the root of the cause for my pain. I have had some 25 years of chiropractic care. Dr Paul Hodgson was referred to me by my last chiropractor after I moved out of his area.Dr. Paul has helped me considerably .... at 70, I was very worried about how Id be faring as the years progressed. I began seeing Dr. Paul Hodgson over a year ago with back pain but not the worst pain I had ever had. The purpose of seeing him was to avoid having that worst pain ever again. It worked! I signed up for a year long program. I saw Dr. Paul and his colleagues a lot in the beginning and over time I saw them less and less. After a year I feel amazing. I am in the process of moving so am packing and carrying heavy boxes. No problem. I have begun to garden again. No problem. The biggest surprise has been how much better my knees are. Best chiropractic experience ever! I inflict a lot of pain and injury on myself on a regular bases with all the different sports I do. Dr Paul fixed my severe planter fasciitis in both feet, tennis elbow and neck and back pain with adjustments, laser and some recommended lifestyle adjustments. Not to mention, his staff is some of the nicest and friendliest that youll ever meet, They make you feel like family. I couldnt recommend him and his team any higher!

I love this place so much that I could hang out here! :) I came in 8 months pregnant with a breech baby which flipped after 2 weeks of treatments. I was pleased to notice my breathing and my sleep also improved along with my mobility so I continued coming until I delivered my baby. I am being seen now for postpartum care and I can say that I am getting so much relief as my body returns to it prepregnancy state. Only a couple weeks ago, it was uncomfortable to lay down flat on my back but even that is starting to subside. So thankful to this amazing team of doctors (I have been seen by all three). My 82 year old wife and I were shopping at Costco when she slipped on some slop that was on the floor and came head over heels crashing to the floor. Costco personnel came to her rescue immediately to clean up the mess some inconsiderate customer had made and took very good care of her injuries. When we got to the parking lot Dr. Pauls voice was ringing in my ears: Remember. If either of you fall or have a traumatic experience call my office and tell us you have had an accident and you need to see me immediately. The quicker I can get you in here for adjustment the more likely I will be able to fix anything that may be out of alignment. I picked up my cell phone and dialed the New Wave Chiropractic Center and told them what had happened. Their response was: Get in here as quickly as you can. Dr. Paul will see you immediately. Now tell me: WHERE CAN YOU GET A RESPONSE LIKE THAT FROM A DOCTOR?Dr. Paul was true to his word. He had her on the couch within two minutes of our arrival in his facility. He first examined her for any signs of concussion and then adjusted her spine and shoulders. He then took the time to show me how to examine her for any signs of concussion and said that I should check her frequently throughout the night. How can you not love and trust a Doctor like that.My wife and I are firmly committed to the New Wave Chiropractic Center.

My 2 year old daughter and I have been going to Dr. Paul for almost 6 months. It has been the most amazing experience ever. My daughter has been battling chronic ear infections/illness for about 1.5 years. She has been on so many different antibiotics it is ridiculous. She was even scheduled to have ear tubes and adenoids removed. Thankfully, Dr. Paul has guided us in a different direction. He really is the first one who has actually helped her. West Coast Chiro is wonderful. Dr. Paul has been caring for me throughout my pregnancy and for a bad fall from a horse. He has shown genuine concern for my health - I have never had any kind of Dr offer to work around my schedule so that I could receive care the same day as my accident! This is my first time seeing a chiropractor, and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. Dr. Paul Hodgson and Dr. Joe Botkin are both very straightforward, friendly and extremely knowledgeable, especially in regard to sports related injuries as well as typical military-related back and neck problems. The staff that works the front desk is also very friendly and make you feel welcome and relaxed as soon as you walk through the door. I have been getting adjusted at New Wave Chiropractic for about 6 weeks now, and Ive noticed dramatic improvements to my posture, balance and general health, as well as decreased pain from repeat injuries in my neck and back.

These guys are great! I came to them after suffering for months with sciatic nerve problems, Dr. Paul was awesome! He never lectured me about being over weight or looked down on me for getting myself into this situation, he was compassionate and professional. He understood the pain I was in and came up with a game plane to get me back in shape. These two (Dr. Gina and Dr. Paul) are really compassionate care givers. They are top in their field and make the effort to educating you while providing great treatments, I cant recommend them enough. Ive been seeing Dr. Paul for a little over 3 months, and I cant even begin to explain how helpful it has been. Prior to this, I had daily headaches, and severe migraines regularly. Its been just over 3 months and the headaches are all but gone, and I havent had a single migraine. Honestly, I didnt even think this was possible.I cannot recommend Dr. Paul enough!

This is a phenomenal Chiropractor! Dr. Paul Hodgson truly cares, and pays great attention to detail. I have had many Chiropractors over the years, but none have been able to address my spine and nervous system like Dr. Hodgson has.My issues were primarily in my lower neck area, an area where too many Chiropractors in the past have attempted to adjust and have completely struck out. They either jam it further, or completely skip over that area because its too hard or too stuck.Not only was Dr. Paul able to release this troublesome area of my spine regularly, but he did with ease and specificity.Of course, I feel like a million after I get off his table.A great Doctor and a great man. In addition to working through the typical computer-desk related spine and neck issues, Dr Paul was also able to provide relief from a chronic eye problem that has plagued me for years. They will not work without x-rays and there isn’t treatment on the first appointment. I have seen many chiropractors over the years as I move around a lot, I have never had to have x-rays, and I have been treated on my first visit to help get out of pain.

I had one of the best healing, caring, and going the extra mile experiences with Dr. Paul Hodgson and Dr. Joe Botkin at New Wave Chiropractic Center about 3 weeks ago.I have some tightness issues with my neck, lower back, hands, and the worst condition is plantar-fasciitis in both feet for the last year which has curtailed most of the activities that I love doing: running, jogging, dancing, teaching dancing, playing tennis, ping pong, and long power walks.I never dreamed that chiropractic might be able to help me with healing my plantar-fasciitis and have tried everything else, so I thought why not add chiropractic to the list :-)It is the first time that any doctor or chiropractor has ever volunteered his personal time, without any compensation, to meet with me and try to help me on his own personal time, but that is exactly what Dr. Paul did about the third or fourth time he treated me!Thanks to Dr. Hodgson’s kindness and generosity I am happy to report that I am already back to power walking and some jogging, shooting some baskets, taking boxing lessons, and I played a competitive game of table tennis.  The amazing thing is its only been a week since Dr. Hodgson met with me and jogged with me on the beach and taught me functional running and encouraged me to slowly resume my beloved activities.Dr. Joe Botkin is equally caring, professional, and knowledgeable as well.The lovely ladies that assist the chiropractors are really a joy and delight to work with as well every time you come to this wonderful healing environment.
