They dont let you do business calls while getting your hair done. But they took extra care with my hair. The cut and color are simple and easy to care for. Im happy.

If you have curly hair, I highly recommend Bianca Dawn. She knows exactly what to do with it. Its been 4 days and my hair still looks amazing. She immediately spotted what my problems were, gave me amazing recommendations based on what she thought was best for me and my hair. She also sent me home with some shampoo recommendations which I loved. My husband also loves Meghan and has been a loyal customer for probably over 2 years. Meghan is the sweetest, she takes her time to get to know her customers and always remembers my husband which is nice. He loves that he doesnt need to remind her how he prefers his hair cut, he just sits there and lets her do his magic. On top of that, she cares about making that personal connection along with leaving his hair looking perfect. The salon is very nice and has a lovely lounge area where you can sit and wait. Were really happy with the salon, the service and these 2 lovely ladies, thank you!

I’ve been coming to Twig for seven years and absolutely love everything about it. The experience from the time I walk in the door, to when I leave is above and beyond any other salon I’ve been to. They have highly qualified stylists, along with great products. I’ve had my hair done by a few of their team members and am never disappointed. The owner truly cares about all the little details which shows in the quality of her team, and the integrity of my hair. 🌈 5+ stars

As a first time client, I have nothing but positive comments about TWIG Hair Lounge. It had been almost 12 years since I visted a salon (self cutter until TWIG). The salon is designed beautifully to start. From the flooring, to the accent lighting and open floor plan, the facility was very warming and clean.... everything one would like from a upscale business. What impressed me the most, and this never waivered are the employees. Each one welcomed me with a smile and took the time to greet me. I was paired up with Jen who gave me great customer service and Im very pleased with the cut she provided. I gave her creative freedom and she did not dissapoint. I need not forget the amazing head massage and hair washing that was also provided by another employee. TWIG provided the complete package and I look forward to visiting many more times in the future.

AMBER IS AMAZING! She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. She also told me step by step, what she was doing. I went into Twig Hair Lounge, looking for a new color style and confidence booster and I left with so much more than that! Balayage SUCCESS! The women who did my hair, Monique was nice however did not dye my hair blonde as requested. Instead she gave me high lights. When I spoke with the staff that day saying I was unable with the service and they wanted me to come back and pay FULL PRICE to fix. I spoke with the manager on Tuesday Morning requesting a refund for the incorrect hair color and was denied. She said “it looks nice. I don’t see anything wrong with it.” It may not look bad but it is not what I request and paid for. It would be like me paying someone to put white tile in my house and the contractor puts in brown and says “welll it looks nice.”.

AMBER is incredible! Our family just moved to the area and I’ve been searching for a stylist who listens. Amber knew exactly what I wanted from a super brief description and gave me an even more amazing haircut than I imagined! I’ve been looking in the mirror thanking God for Amber! Twig has a customer for life as long as she is around.

I cant rave about this place more! Rachel is who did my hair and she did a phenomenal job. I had baby highlights put in to help disguise my grey hair (Im about 25% grey) and make them a lot less noticeable when my hair grows out. Thank you Rachel, I LOVE my hair!!

Twig is such a cute salon- the girls are always friendly, accommodating, and attentive. I called in on a whim a couple of months ago and was looking for someone to tame my unruly curls and the concierge paired me with Kassandra. I am beyond grateful she did! Kassandra strives to deliver what each client wants. She celebrated my curls instead of making me feel bad about them (this happens a lot at other salons) and made me feel so confident and beautiful. Not only is Kassandra an incredible designer but shes an even better person and I truly feel rejuvenated after spending time in her chair. As important as it is to have someone that can take care of your hair; its even more important to have people that genuinely care about the person who is wearing it and Kassandra truly does. She offers so many different services and tailors them to each clients needs. She works with you to achieve your vision, while still making sure your hair is healthy and looks great. I cannot wait to go back soon!

Very bad experience - twice! I had been speaking to one stylist for months about transitioning to red from the very dark, black cherry sort of color I had going on (which I had been dying myself). The first time I let her color it, it looked worse than if I had done it myself. My roots were three shades lighter than the rest, and the rest was not even close to the color we discussed.Two weeks later they kindly did a free color correction because it truly did look amateurish. I told her to be aggressive - I didnt care if it was dry, just be aggressive this time. So she did, and it was FANTASTIC.Then, my next appointment 4 weeks later, I said I LOVED the color and couldnt be happier - to touch up the roots and if she felt anything else needed to be done, to do it. She discussed putting some foils in to add dimension and I agreed. She knew I wanted a copper red and obviously if I had her do a color correction to lighten it to that color, I wanted it that color. Somehow she got out of this I wanted to dye it RIGHT BACK TO WHERE WE WERE BEFORE - a dark red! She completely UN-DID everything she did 4 weeks before. I hate it. Im so disappointed I cried when I got in the car. She is a very nice girl but she clearly lacks experience and/or did not listen to me at all. I had even shown her pictures when we began this process 6 weeks before of copper reds and strawberry blondes, so she knew what color we were ultimately going for, but utterly failed.Awful experience due to very obvious lack of experience. She should not be charging the same amount as someone whos been doing this for 10 + years. Honestly, I should have been given a refund for the color because it was not AT ALL what I wanted. How you think I wanted to UN-do the work done 4 weeks before when I said I absolutely loved it, is beyond me. Will never ever come back to this salon.My advice - ensure your colorist has many years experience if you are transitioning from one color hair dye to another despite claims of being an expert!!! Nothing can make up for actual years experience!!

Moved to Carlsbad 3 years ago and have been changing salons every 6 months AND FINALLY found one that I absolutely love! These ladies are professional ask you questions, talk you through the process. Megan is my stylist (Jessica Simpson look alike- but dont tell her that!) she is such a sweetheart, super friendly, makes you feel comfortable, doesnt just go with your suggestions especially if she knows it wont work for you, but she gives you options instead. We dont always know what will work best with our facial structure and hair type, but all of these ladies do which makes the experience 10 times better!! You cant go wrong with this salon- just be open to tell them things you dont like and they can take it from there!

Horrible experience. Abusive staff and the owner is rude. I should have listened to the reviews prior to going in. I did not even get to make an appointment and I’m glad I did not. Classless environment for the “high” standard. Do NOT go here. It is a salon that wants to be high class but is no better than the Walmart salon. I’d rather go to the Walmart salon.

Made an appointment and specifically asked if it would be ok to bring my children. Showed up and my 8 year old was reading a book and my infant was quiet in her car seat. Was seated in salon and then asked to leave soon after because the owner said my children would be distracting. Very poor business practice, especially when Id specifically asked the day prior and had already driven 20 min to get there. Would not recommend or return, regardless of how great the stylists are.

Im very dissapointed with this place. I was recommended by a friend and Im not happy at all with my visit. I paid $65 for a simple trim ($75 with tip) and its crazy choppy. The only thing I liked about twig was the products they used in my hair.

I used to go to Supercuts and my wife suggested that I go to a real salon where I could get a more consistent cut because it seemed like it was different each time Id go.So I went to Twig about 8 months ago and Zoey started cutting my hair and I couldnt be happier with the result.Shes been consistent every time and is cool to chat with.Make sure to get the hot towel treatment at the end. Its awesome.

I made my first visit to Twig Hair Lounge this week, and was extremely pleased with the experience. Rachel gave me probably the best haircut (a bob) EVER, and I love the color as well!

Worst service and haircut ever had. Strongly not recommend! All those good stylists left this hair Lounge.

I am appalled at the treatment I received at this salon. I showed up for a first appointment ($150 +) with the owner and was turned away because I had my daughter with me. My daughter is an angel and no trouble at all. She was cruel to me and my young girl and as far as Im concerned she should not be in business. DISGUSTED. Who cares if she can do highlights..... shes abusive.

I was told about this place from a friend who tried it first. She loved it, and being a newbie to the area, I decided why not! I always get my hair cut by Sierra. She is the best! She doesn't razor your hair, it's a genuine haircut. And what I love most about her is that she is not gossipy at all! She goes with the flow, really nice! You don't feel like you have to talk to the person cutting your hair to get a great haircut! Another huge plus: I've been trying to grow my hair out longer and everytime I go, I have no fear with Sierra. She will literally only cut what needs to be cut. She is NOT scissor happy! I absolutely LoVe her!!! And as for hair coloring, this is your go to gal! Amazing!I told her what i wanted, and it came out better than i imagined! Unlike the many times i've asked for a color and came out with the "its a process, come back again and we will get closer to your desired color," line...I wish I could bottle her up and take her with me! Lol sadly, I'm moving out of country soon... Dreading my hair life without Sierra! She's the best!
