Great first visit. Love the office and people.

Dr. Halbleib has been my dentist for over a decade because he’s a great dentist. He shows me what’s happening with my teeth and gums. He explains what I can do to stay healthy and what he can do when I need help. He never pushes a treatment, just helps me understand options and consequencesIn life I’ve learned that it’s easy to look good when the going is easy. True character shows when it’s hard. After many years of dental care I finally had something go wrong: a crown broke after just a few years. A good friend who manages another dental office assured me that it isn’t uncommon, because lots of factors affect the life of a crown.Dr. Halbleib examined the broken crown and replaced it quickly and painlessly. He did not charge me a thing, just made it right. If anything, this experience has made me even more loyal because I see how professional he is, even when something doesn’t go right.When you visit his office, you can see right away the amazing technology he has to work effectively and painlessly. But it takes years to see his character. I’ve seen it and that’s why I recommend him.

I have been going to dentists all my life. The only time I have been told I needed a deep cleaning has been with HMO ins., where my out of pocket cost runs in the hundreds. I switched over to CIGNA for the 2020year. Went to DDS Halbleib---guess what? Yeap, I needed a deep cleaning. My partner Just went to his appointment. And yep, he needs a deep cleaning. It will only cost him $465. . I called to schedule my cleaning, didnt want the deep cleaning. I was told-----get this I am not a candidate for a regular cleaning.so I get no cleaning and he still gets paid since he is my HMO DDS( they (HMOs)a get paid for each patient they have per month whether they are seen or not). So it would be interesting to see how many people with insurance require a deep cleaning vs people who dont have insurance since the totalcost would be $5377.i am going back to Delta dental, but, not the HMO. So tired of being Black mailed in order to get a cleaning.

Honestly, Dr Halbleib is a master tooth wizard. I had several fillings done with the Solea laser and I was genuinely surprised by how painless and quick it was. All of the staff are kind, patient, and professional. I highly recommend them if you have dental anxiety like I do.

I want to take this time to write about Julie, dental assistant to Dr. Halbleib. Julie has been assisting the doctor when I have any work done, along with my mother of 89 years old. Julie has always been kind and caring to both of us. She is especially helpful with my mothers needs, such as helping her get in and out of the chair and leading her back to the front desk. Julie is also very knowledgeable and explains all the work Dr. Halbleib will be doing, whether for me or my mother.Dr. Halbleib has definitely found a person who will promote his business because of her willingness to make the patient feel comfortable and important. What a pleasure to see Julie and have her assist the doctor. Thank you, Julie for your kindness and dedication.

Dr. Halbleibs office and staff is fantastic. Lets face it going to the dentist isnt the first thing I want to do. But, Dr. Halbleib and his staff make it to where I really dont mind. The offices ambiance is always clean and inviting. His staff is always friendly and professional. The office is very clean and professional. Dr. Halbleib and is staff are so friendly and helpful. My past dentists focused more on the looks of my teeth, size and color, while Dr. Halbleib put the focus on the health of my teeth and gums and taught me how to care of them better which made me feel cared for. After the firsts couple visits and cleanings I already feel an amazing difference!

I had my molar restored yesterday by Dr. Halblieb. He was, as usual, very professional (been a long-time patient). He was able to move quickly through the procedure and get the tooth fixed perfectly, with no pain and only minor discomfort. The new technology allowed the on-lay to be fabricated on-the-spot and installed right away, with none of the usual temporary plus 2/3-week wait. I highly recommend him and his staff.

I needed two new crowns. Dr. Halbleib created two beautiful crowns in one day. They are perfect. He was precise and has an artistic eye. I am extremely pleased with the outcome.

Ginee was my dental hygienist. She went above and beyond to do superb work on cleaning my teeth. She was not only super good at what she did but she was very friendly and fun to be around. She was uplifting and a really hard worker

Excellent as always. The hygienist, Ginee, does a very fine job and I have total confidence in Dr. Halbleib. When recommending things related to dental care and needed work, both provide easy to understand information which I greatly appreciate.

What can our family say that our bright, Dr. Halbleib-and-Staff-induced smiles have not already said to all we smile to? With bright and friendly faces, each member of the office provides a welcoming environment as their patients are cared for. From serious forms of dental procedures, like the work required to help my new-found smile, to the bye-annual cleanings we all should practice, this office runs like a machine.Ginee and Julie are two members of the team that stand-out, deserving this familys shout-out. I have been going to Halbleib for years and have always liked how welcoming and pleasant the service is at their office. It is clean and they make you feel as comfortable as possible when you are there. My hygienist was Ginee, and she did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. She was a very nice person and was very thorough. She even gave me floss and mouthwash at the end of the cleaning. I would highly recommend her and Jesse A. Halbliebs office.

Dr Halblieb and Dr Maidans are excellent Dentists. Best Ive found in Santa Cruz county, and have lived here since 1984.By way of example: you can get a root canal, a post installed to support a on-the-spot custom-made cap/crown in less than two hours. All in one sitting.No multiple visits. Have had one of these two hour start-to-finish root canal/post/caps for nearly a year, no problems at all: appearance remains excellent and, most importantly, remains structurally solid.Hygienists are top-notch, very personable and make a simple cleaning or complex deep scaling almost a pleasure: pain-free without any anesthetics. Nice touch. They read patients with considerable empathy. The Sensational Smile LED-amplified whitening treatment is both fast and effective.Their dental tech is state-of-the-art and the highly competent staff can figure out the worst insurance billing nightmares imaginable.One nit, to be fair: have noted a couple of cavities that really should be addressed without delay, and this is oddly not part of the treatment plan, Otherwise, five stars.To conclude: competent, cost-effective, pleasant and efficient.##

I have had many dentists in my life, some good and some terrible. I am so glad to have found Dr Halbleibs practice. He is extremely knowledgeable, has all the latest technological tools, and the capability to use them. This is dentistry for the 21st century. The staff are also great; gentle, very pleasant and informative. On their recommendation, I have started perio-protect and I know it has changed my dental health.

This place is the best. they listen to your health needs and are so gentle. i actually look forward to going hear.

Ive been a patient with Halbleib for over 5 years, maybe 10 by now. I have been mostly using his selection of dental hygienists as I try to tackle my periodontal issues. All have been good, most great. The office has better equipment than my last dentist and recently (last 2 yrs?) the lead hygienist Ginee has really won me over to go the next steps in my treatment. First, she applied a laser to my pockets and now more than 6 months later they are HALF as deep, I am almost normal! Dr. Halbleib has been gently but certainly recommending I take further steps to keep my teeth, but I have been hesitant. I finally did the DNA mouth screening and he showed me the infection levels that need to be clobbered. This last appointment I watched Dr. Halbleib and Ginee confer on my condition and they truly worked together, using both of their observations and experiences. Works for me with my insurance too. Over the past couple years the recommendations and treatment provided by Dr. Halbleib and his staff has greatly effected the health of my teeth and gums. The concern and care given, professionalism and treatment plan, especially for my periodontal needs and using the PerioProtect system, has brought about significant improvement.
