We took my mother-in-law once to see this doctor... never again. They dont return phone calls and he is very short in person. Almost like your presence annoys him. His reputation with therapists proceeds him and they said it would be in our best interest to switch doctors.

Absolutely fantastic doctor! He was excellent during the follow up from an ER visit, took the time to discuss surgery options when the results came back, and provided his card to answer any questions that I might have along the way. He is thorough and has great bedside manner.

As a younger person needing a hip replacement I must say after thinking about it I was a bit nervous. Dr. Habib could not have re assured me anymore. He ran into a much bigger surgery than planned for. However when all was done everything was perfect he called a number of times while I was in the hospital to make sure I was ok. In my opinion there isnt anyone else for this surgery. In fact I need my right one done as well and as soon as my left heals enough I will be back to finish up with him. In short I would highly recommend him.

I have one star only for this place and it’s because his staff are amazing. The doctors solutions to all of my problems was to “lose weight”, but as an educated patient and advocate I would love to point out that if you are overweight and rapidly lose weight the strain on your musculoskeletal system will change, increasing the pain. He seemed ignorant and not even interested in my case. He told me my hips were perfectly aligned when I have a birth defect that wouldn’t magically heal itself. The second I walked out the only thought I had was “Why does this doctor believe he even had the AUDACITY to say that. I’ll never go to that clinic again. Love the staff but Dr. Habib ruined it for me.

Very happy with dr habib himself. His assistant however, can be very short and rude at times. Also, Trying to get an OT prescription for two weeks now, can’t get anybody to answer or return calls. Very disappointing, very dissatisfied.

Absolutely do not recommend this physician. My daughter, who has EDS (a genetic disease that makes ligaments and tendons stretchy, and joints dislocate easily), and who’s had 3 knee surgeries and dozens of emergency room visits to have her patellas moved back into place, was treated like garbage by this doctor. He told her essentially that she has nothing wrong with her.She was seen by a well known surgeon at Children’s for years...a surgeon who literally cried along with her, when she was young enough to be his patient.Dr. Habib had ZERO empathy, claimed there was nothing wrong with her, and then pointed out that he doesn’t prescribe pain meds - as if THAT was her only reason for being there. There are people in this world with what are known as ‘invisible disabilities.’ You don’t SEE what is wrong, but it doesn’t make them a liar, or a junkie looking for drugs. (She never mentioned pain meds, by the way.) Maybe she should have brought her genetic testing and 2” medical file with her, so this doctor would have had no choice but to set aside his personal biases and accept that yes, her problems are real...and he apparently lacks the skill to treat them.Downriver specialists are obviously no comparison to the quality of doctor found at the DMC system or U of M. We’ll be going to U of M.Hey Dr. Habib...many thanks for your attempts to make my 22 year old daughter feel not only like a liar, but to once again be let down by a specialist who lacks more than basic knowledge.

I sustained a horrible break to my humerus, fractured in many areas and to top it off I was out in the middle of the ocean and was in a temporary cast for a few weeks before I was able to get to a hospital. Dr Habib had to do surgery, added screws, the whole nine yards. Not only is he an AWESOME surgeon, but a very caring and professional person all rolled up in one. My family Dr. Who I have seen for decades said Dr. Habib is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the tri-states area. If you want a Dr. that will take care of your bones, if needed, hes your guy. I HIGHLY recommend him. He will be doing my Moms knee replacement and my husbands hip replacement in the future.

ABSOLUTELY A GREAT DOCTOR!. Dr. Habib performed a hip replacement surgery on my left hip September 2020. The care I received from this doctor and his staff has been EXCEPTIONAL. I was up for a walk the following day after surgery, stairs even. At the approach of 6 weeks, my healed incision became barely noticeable. I am experiencing a fast and successful recovery.I was referred to Dr. Habib by a co-worker who had undergone the same procedure in March. She spoke so highly of Dr. Habib and suggested I book an appointment. I am so happy and relieved I did. He is caring, he listens and hes thorough. The care I have received from Dr. Habib and the Beaumont Health System has rendered life changing improvements to my daily routines and overall quality of life. Thank you Dr. Habib!

He is very rude distasteful, wont look at you while talking cuts you off mid talking and wants to rush you out of the room immediately. Went in for check up on my shoulder witch the hospital said would most likely need surgery he looked at it for i kid you not a split second and that was it. Never ever will i go to him again!
