This insurance company with the myNexus program will cut coverage on patients who are using homecare therapy services. Sometimes only after 3 therapy visits have been performed. That includes the start of care. If you care about receiving quality care for your needs at home, then run away from any company that uses myNexus to adjust therapy coverage and not listen to licensed professionals.

I unfortunately had to terminate my services with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, a policy that I had in place for many years. Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield began not covering the simplest procedures for my daughter that were always covered prior. An annual routine gynecological exam was denied. An ER visit due to spider bites was completely denied as well. Our customer service calls were farmed out to foreign handlers who never explained the reasons or diagnosis codes as to why these items were not covered. The customer service operators were inept. Poor services and lack of coverage resulted in their termination.
