I have been working out in different types of gyms my whole life. This gym is truly special. The Maxx Fitness coaching is amazing always watching all the athletes making sure of proper form and cheering us on. The members are welcoming to all ages and fitness levels. I have found an amazing fitness family in Maxx Fitness!

I have been working out at Maxx Fitness since its beginnings in 2015. I look forward to every workout. My trainer, John Kijek, is very knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition. I highly recommend giving Maxx Fitness a try!

Excellent one on one training, John is friendly and patient, but drives you to better on each session. The gym is always clean, the equipment is nice and the environment is private so you get a more personalized program based on your exact needs. The nutritional information john helps with is also the base of the whole program, and I look forward meals and the results of the combo. Scheduling with john is always smooth and he works around my busy schedule, morning, days or weekends! Always a pleasure! I highly recommend Maxx Fitness

One of the few to survive the pandemic shutdowns. Very well cleaned facility. Friendly staff. Hopefully after restrictions get lifted more machines will be available.

I’ve been training with John for a year now, and believe he is one of the most experienced & committed trainers around. I started training a few times a week & really enjoyed the variety & challenge he put into the workouts, so I started going 5 days a week.John is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging (& somehow fun). My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I actually look forward to my workouts.John always ensures my technique is correct to avoid any injuries, and he is reliable & punctual (always set up & ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned).I highly recommend John to anyone looking to improve their fitness with a dedicated trainer.

I absolutely love going to see John at Maxx for my workouts! He makes it fun but definitely pushes you! He also will concentrate on your diet outside of the gym by putting together a personal meal plan to achieve the exact results you want. He knows exactly what he is doing, and is GREAT at what he does!! Thanks John! 💪

John takes a individual approach with his clients. He listens to his clients goals and caters to their body types to assure results and safety. He recognizes the value of proper nutrition and will outline how you should be eating to achieve your goals. I weighed 147 lbs when I started with him. Three months later i had been steadily gaining 1-2 lbs of muscle a week and i had been training with him twice a week. My final weight was 173 lbs of healthy muscle.

Great gym! John is so awesome with helping you achieve your fitness goals! Great 1:1 training or group classes. He also offers to help you with meal planning if you struggle with knowing what to eat in a day like myself. I would highly recommend anyone to check this place out!

John by far has been the most effective and honest trainer I have worked with. He takes the time to get to know you and your goals. He challenges you and works with any issues you might have. I have been a client for about five years and I love the at home gym feel.

John is an amazing trainer and nutrition coach!When I first started at Maxx Fitness. with John, I was out of shape, but we worked together, he encouraged me, and he made the workouts fun!He gave me the motivation to keep going when i wanted to give up.I feel so much better mentally and physically! Im so happy I made the decision to get started towards a healthier happier me, and I could not have done it without John! I highly recommend MAXX FITNESS!

Before starting personal one on one training with John, owner of Maxx Fitness, I had worked with three other personal trainers. None of them had near the knowledge, expertise and ability to motivate as John. His knowledge of nutrition also helped me make a complete lifestyle change as I began to look at labels with attention not just to calories but contents. Starting with John at age 65, there were arthritis issues to overcome and what a difference conditioning can do to eliminate knee pain. John also helped with pre and post surgery with a total hip replacement knowing precisely what was needed for me to recover limp free. I’m feeling so great now that I’ve even started beginner tennis lessons at age 72! Your training is specific to you and only you. Your goals are John’s goals for you. You’re a team with John. I recommend him highly.
