When we first started at the Canton location years ago, pre-Covid, everything was nice. Now since you have to wait in your car and either text or call to let them know you’re there, it’s become a ridiculous place. When we arrived at 1:05 for our 1:30 appointment,I called and texted numerous times. Nobody ever reached out to me to confirm and so at 1:40 I walked inside and was told since is was 10 minutes pass their schedule appointment, my kids wouldn’t be able to be seen today. I was livid. Also, they stated I never responded to the text a couple days prior to confirm the appointment and I told them I never received a text. I asked them what number they texted and the one she read out to me was not my number. So, not my fault. The receptionist went to talk with her doctor and said that they could see two of my three kids. Huh? Why? She stated because one of my sons insurance was terminated. Well duh I told them this when I called to make the appointment and gave them his NEW insurance along with filled out the new insurance on the online paperwork they sent me a week in advance that I filled out and submitted. Yeah this place has went down hill. On top of all that the two kids that were seen I was told I had to schedule an appointment for them to have teeth removed and I would have to pay a $25 fee to make that appointment!?!?? Like what??? When did this start? This place is ridiculous. Definitely will never be back. We switched same day to a new dentist and already went to the new one the boys love it there. Front desk is very helpful and communication is wonderful.

We arrived to the sixes road location for our appointment and sent the text informing them of our arrival. Twenty minutes passed and still nobody came out to get my daughter. When I asked about when she would be taken care of, I was told it was 25 minutes passed her appointment time and they would not be able to see her today. When I got upset and told them we had been waiting, Karina accused me of not sending a text letting them know we had arrived. I had to prove to her on the phone that we sent the text. She told me that her doctor is too busy to see my child and she didn’t receive the text. Maybe you should get a System that actually works. Maybe you shouldn’t accuse your patients of lying. Maybe you should just take care of the patient.

Canton Pediatric Dentistry is an amazing place to go. All 3 of my boys go here and several of my family members. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If you have questions they will take the time to answer the questions and break it down however you may need. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the amazing customer service. From the front to the back it is an amazing office! I highly recommend this office.

Tried to keep my braces on for longer than needed so the orthodontist could add her own aesthetic touch to my teeth? also now that im about to turn 18 i have sudden cavities that have never once before been mentioned, and my molars need to be re-sealed. thats right. sealed...again.

I absolutely love this office! Took my 2 boys here, very friendly staff and I absolutely recommend the hygienist Mrs Kara! Very friendly and polite to all the patients! You want to be confident in your kids smiles ask for Mrs kara. Highly recommend this office and all the other surrounding sister offices!

I go to the dentist at canton pediatric and it’s the best service they get you in and out in no time Amy is one of the nicest people on the staff she gets people in and out in no time she is by far the best and super friendly. She Genuinely cares about the patients and parents. The dentist office is very clean well constructed and very organized by far the best dentist around!

The staff are friendly and the wait time is quick. They always take such great care of my daughter and are very patient with her. She is 20 months old and I love that we have found a practice that treat her so well.

Canton Pediatric Dentistry can kick rocks. Id give no starts if possible. And Ill gladly tell anyone how rude and condescending these people are. Ive had nothing but problems with them, every single interaction, every single appointment, for several years, and still stayed loyal. Now they want a $50 prepaid deposit just to make an appointment. #duces

My children have been coming here about 7-8 years now! We have 6 children, 4 of which are special needs! Ever since Amy took over as office manager she has been wonderful! Words can’t even describe how awesome she is. My boys are autistic so they have a hard time at appts but Amy always makes sure she schedules them all at the same time and when not a lot of people are here, and gets the staff prepared for them. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of. I forgot to mention we love her so much and how wonderful she takes care of our family here that we drive 3 hours just to come to the dentist :) The assistants and dentist are wonderful to but Amy just makes everything works so smoothly on dentist days:)I highly recommend here!

I would like to thank your staff at the Canton/Bells Ferry location for being effortlessly efficient in seeing my daughter whom had a issue with tooth/gum pain. The dental staff saw her within 5 minutes of showing up and signing in and was very courteous and diagnosed her symptoms. From the moment I contacted the office to make an appointment until the time the visit was over no time was wasted. Within 30 minutes we were finished and satisfied with the diagnosis. The first party to recognize as the front line is the person of whom answered my call as she contacted the office to make sure it was all right to be seen at such a late time of day and all play an important part in team work to make this happen efficiently for the patient. Thank you for your professionalism and we will be seeing you all again soon.

Although the wait time is usually longer than anticipated, we love this dentist office! All of the staff is great with children and make it such a pleasant experience for both of my children (ages 2 and 12). Amy at the front desk is amazing at what she does and has the prettiest smile!! Thank you for making my children comfortable so that going to the dentist is never dreaded.

Today was the first time taking our two young boys to Canton Pediatric Dentistry and it truly was the best experience we could have asked for! Mary was SO sweet and gave us a tour of the whole facility (so clean and child friendly!) and was more than happy to answer any questions we had. Both boys had a cleaning and dental exam done. Dr Blatt was kind, patient and made the whole family feel at ease. When we left, our 6 year old asked when we could go back! I couldn’t recommend this Dentistry more and am so glad we found them. I plan on bringing my children here for a long time to come!

My two daughters have been coming to your practice since we moved to the area in 2011, and my son since he was a small toddler. All three of my children have excellent dental health and always have a great experience with all the staff at the Sixes Rd clinic location. Your team has been supportive in helping teach my children good dental care habits and have always made sure they were comfortable and had fun during their visits. To this day, not a single cavity among them. Thank you to all the staff for all your dedicated care! We as a family appreciate your team taking the lengths to make going to the dentist a positive experience.

The post says closed til April 30th. We are here currently for a braces adjustment. Not 1 person called to inform us that the office is closed. Even the recording says April 30th. Today is May 4th. I am an essential worker and missing work for this appt. Thanks for poor business ethics. Be responsible for your patients and make courtesy calls.

My son loves coming here we went to a previous pediatrician in the area and they said he needed a ton of work done. We came here for second opinion and he didn’t need any of that work done. Would highly recommend them here

I took my two year old and one year old to this office for our very first dentist visit. I was pretty nervous not knowing how the girls would respond to having their mouths examined. The Dentist, assistants and hygienist were all wonderful!! We had a great experience and I highly recommend them. Every child in the office was calm and unafraid. They do a great job at making them comfortable!

If you have a child with special needs youll understand this long review. My son is autistic. He went to a dentist for 2 years each time he went they would have to put him in a papoose. He was mortified to go to the dentist. Finally, after crying with him every time he had go go in for a cleaning we switched. At first we were going to the Roswell location, but when we moved we started going to the Canton location. Both locations have been excellent and my son looks forward to going to the dentist instead of afraid. I was shocked when he was able to go back for his cleaning with just his sister since she was having hers done too. Although there has been once or twice where the appointments arent together, but trusting them with a child with autism on his own is a big thing. My daughter also goes to the Ortho for her braces. Wonderful group on both ends.

I am an employee at Canton Peditric Dentistry and see everyday how everyone from the front desk, back office staff and Dr. Blatt cares about our patients. All of my co-workers bring their children here for their cleaning, exams and treatment. First, let me preface my review with the fact that Im not great with words! I have a four year old and a six year old that needed some dental work completed but the office in our hometown doesnt offer treatment for young children or children that may be difficult--I have one of each. My six year old has been banned from Dawsonville (Woodstock) Pediatric Dentistry due to her mother (me) requesting to discuss treatment with the dentist before allowing treatment (this was about 3 years ago)--theres more to this story but Ill stick with short and sweet. From the moment I called the office to schedule our initial appointment until today, this office has been wonderful. Between my two children, we have been in the Canton Office a number of times. After each appointment, my children leave looking forward to getting to go back to the dentist. A huge shout out to Ms. Amy, the Office Manager. Yall she has a huge heart and cares about the families that find their way to this office (thank-you for thinking of my children and going above and beyond). Also, a huge thank-you to Dr. Blatt for dealing with overprotective concerned parents like myself on a daily basis--this man must have a never ending stream and reserve of patience! Lastly, Dr. Blatts Assistant is the sweetest ever and one would think my children have known her forever (Im so sorry I cant remember her name! Ugh!). Canton Pediatric Dentistry is Amazing and I definitely recommend them! Thank-you all for everything!

The appointments run very close to real time which is amazing for a pediatric dental office. They are always kind and non-threatening to my little ones. I appreciate the time they take to explain everything.

This was the first dentist visit that I left completely happy. All of the staff that I dealt with were extremely nice, caring and helpful. The new guy (I guess he is new, or maybe substituting from another office in place of the little pregnant lady?) at the check in counter had the best customer service out of anyone I have ever spoken with in the entire time my daughter has been coming to your office.

My daughter has been going here for about 5 years and the staff are friendly and helpful but the visits take way too long. I waited 1.5 hours for my daughter to get her teeth cleaned yesterday. That was after they took her back. Im never out of here in under an hour.

My daughter is only 2, and she just had her first dental cleaning. Shes definitely a mommys girl, especially considering I dont have any relatives in Georgia, no babysitter, no daycare. Ive always been a full time stay at home mom, just me and her. I was REALLY surprised when she went back in the room without me to get her teeth cleaned. The dentist said she never cried, even during her x-Rays. She was so excited when they gave her a new toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, and a balloon!! Theres also tons of toys to play with or movies to watch while youre there. The staff is very friendly, everyone one of them. Its nice to know that I can peacefully wait out in the lobby, taking a deep breath of ME TIME, without having to worry about my child. Kudos to the best dentistry ever!

I have been taking my children for years! Faithful customer, willing to work with you if you are insured or not! Great fast service and the ladies in the office are fantastic!!

Very disappointed in this office. Took my son here when he was four years old and was told he had no cavities. When we went back six months later they claimed that he had eight. They filled all eight and we have had nothing but issues since then. The fillings kept falling out or decaying underneath them. He has had all fillings replaced and has now had to have 18 fillings done all together on the same teeth. We left this dentist after the fillings kept falling out. Another dentist re-did the work and we have not had another issue since. He has not had any new cavities since we left this office. We have spent so much money and time fixing what was done from this office. They fill too many cavities at one time and do not do good work.

I am very satisfied. All of my questions were answered. The dentists showed me exactly what need to be done and why. She was very happy to do it and left other options open.

Not a good day here. Weve been coming here for a while and I have recommended them to others. My son was back there for over two and a half hours for a cleaning and surface fillng. It seems as though the staff took a lunch break. Not going back!!

Came in a little nervous about my 5 yr olds procedure yet as usual we were greeted by friendly smiles and filled in on the whole procedure step by step. Have referred several neighbors to this practice because we have been so happy for several years, thanks for taking great care of both my girls.

We have been with canton for about 6 years now. We love the staff. As a mom of 4 they make sure my needs are met as well as the kids. I couldnt see us anywhere else for our dental care.

The people are very friendly and they make my 9yr old always feeling comfortable. If she wasnt trust me she would tell me. lol

I have not had problems with service here. Staff is friendly, but would prefer that my pre and young adult sons not be exposed to the imodest tops of some of the girls at front desk. Not a helicopter Mom, but if older childrens were not scheduled along with younger, would prefer to be with our 4 year old during check-up. Thought this may serve some parents who take their role of guardian as being responsible.

These are the rudest people Ive ever encountered I left this practice because they would not let me go back with my children because its office policy however I have seen another dentist for the past two years and lived in another county they just called me five minutes ago to confirm my appointment for my children next Monday that I never arranged Im I saw another dentist because the spacer they put on my 10-year-old came loose when I explained to the woman why I would not be back today she hung up on me midsentence I would recommend to everyone out there to never step foot into this office

They did awesome. My daughter had two teeth extracted and two fillings done. She was still smiling when we left with her treasure chest of teeth and prizes.

My son was getting 4 teeth removed along with some crowns. The anesthesiologist came in to give him a shot to put him out before they started the IV sedation. 45 minutes passed until they came and got to take him back to start the IV. By now he was awake and screaming. They had to have 3 people hold him down. ALL OF THAT along with the experience already being traumatic for a 4 year old could have been avoided if they did their jobs correctly and came and started the IV after the initial shot. Extremely disgusted that they did the procedure the way they did.

Correction from earlier review. I am still very unhappy but after speaking to my wife a second time I found out they in fact did do a x ray of her mouth, which still does not make a $150 cleaning for a pediatric patient acceptable especially when no floride treatment was given. I still will not be taking my daughter back to this dentist again.

I went to get three of my moulers pulled out and the person who pulled them out left half of my tooth in my mouth. I had to pull out the rest of my tooth by myself. I would not recomend going to this dentist.

My son has autism and is sometimes unpredictable and hard to manage. Loose baby teeth really annoy him and cause extreme OCD behavior and irritability. So today, you pulled one of his loose baby teeth....and he did not have a problem at ALL with it. Thank you.

They are crooks! I took my daughter on March 11th for a cleaning, this was our first visit there. Granted it was a saturday so they advised they could not get the insurance approved I gave them the benefit of the doubt and paid out of pocket for her cleaning during which i was advised that they would submit the insurance on the following Monday. After a couple of weeks I called my insurance to see if it had been processed they advised that they hadnt received anything from them. I contact the billing dept (who never answer mind you, always get the voicemail) they had not even submitted the paper work to the insurance and on April 11th **ONE MONTH LATER** the paper work was submitted they told me two - three weeks and id get my refund well again another month later they called me this morning 5/9/17 to say they had still not received payment from insurance called BCBS and they had actually received a check first of the month 5/3 AND CASHED IT!!! BCBS reached out but of course only got vm Soo now here we are they have been paid TWICE for the service and still stating they were not paid by BCBS luckily BCBS are aware of whats going on.... This has been nothing but a wild goose chase and no one was helpful only smarta** remarks and they refuse to take fault for not doing their job.

This review is specifically concerning the ORTHODONTICS side - they actually operate as 2 separate entities under the same roof. If you have issues with billing or related needs (docs for Flex Spend, etc.) it will confuse you to death!!Weve had to call several times (5 times) this past year to get documentation to turn over to our Flex Spend account. Literally every time, someone takes down our email address and fax and says theyll send it. They DO NOT. You have to follow up every time. The last 2 times both my wife and I each had to follow up (her twice and myself once) before we finally got the needed documentation (basically, a billing statement).In addition, all payments show Canton Pediatric Dentistry on our credit card statements. We have 2 children, both who were going there. That means we have a lot of charges. If you call to get proof or to inquire about what a charge was for (anyone with Flex Spend accounts understand why this would not always be obvious, as several months can go by before they request documentation), thats when you find out just how separate the 2 sides of CPD are... you have to get transferred back and forth - no single person can help you.The final straw:Between the billing weirdness and a general feeling that no one person has any control, we decided to take my son to another Ortho specialist when it came time for his braces/treatment. What an eye opener that was. Of course, second opinions will typically exist, we were blown away. This dentist - a VERY reputable dentist whos been around for a very long time - looked at our daughters current fixture. He informed us that CPD removed teeth that was not at all necessary, among a lot of other things. He also made recommendations contrary to those provided by CPD for my son.Then today we had to call CPD because some of my daughters wires came loose / broke apart this morning at school. My wife was told to bring her in and theyd cut the wires. When they arrived just after lunch, the girls at the front desk told my wife that theyd have to have an appointment to have her wires cut back.Needless to say after a couple of conversations my daughter was taken care of. But seriously, enough is enough.They also want to charge you roughly $200 to EMAIL records / xrays (which are digital and already paid for, I should add) to another provider. Our new provider does not charge to offer this same service (again, because those records and xrays are bought and paid for).The problem? CPD is a corporation not ran/owned by one particular dental professional. Its a corporation with many departments, providers, locations, etc.I cannot, will not, and never will provide any kind of recommendation for this provider. We know of one friend who had a pleasant experience there, and I dont have much bad to say about the Dental side. But the Ortho side ruined it for us. No accountability, no consistency, no follow up, no organization, and a final attempt to take you for a couple hundred dollars if you decide to leave.
