So far, so good! I had my 1st consultation and everything went well. They were very understanding to my must haves and needs. I still have aways to go before Ill be completely smiling, again. The main work had yet to be started. Im actually looking forward to going to a Dentist Appt. for the first time in my life!

The ladies here treated me exceptionally well.So on point and make me feel super comfortable with the entire process, walked me through everything, gave me more options than I could ask for and even broke down payments and formalities that was not required of them. I will be returning to further my dental hygiene I cannot thank the Dentist, the hygienist, enough for taking their time to explain everything to me.And the lady in billing was so awesome to help me with information I desperately needed to move forward. 5/5 would recommend.

I stopped in for x-rays and a check up and was pleasantly surprised with the professional nature throughout the whole office. The x-rays were very thorough and explained to me at each step of the process. This level of transparency was present throughout my entire visit and was very helpful for someone like me who doesnt have a whole lot of experience with the dentists, aside from cleanings once or twice a year.I scheduled for my follow up appointment at the conclusion of my visit and am confident that Aspen will remain my dentistry provider for years to come. This location is running a tight ship for having just opened a brand new office. Love these guys!

The only two items that I feel could be better isA. Why the reason for the visit. I was very thorough in explaining why I wanted to bring my child to them. But it wasn’t even discussed at the visit until I brought up the concern.B. The promptness in getting patients to the back.The front desk staff are extremely friendly and always greets you with a smile whether you are coming or going. Customer Service goes a long way and this office does not disappoint in that area.My daughter did tell me in the car that she does not wish to go back due to the rough way in which her cleaning was performed. She said that the Hygienist kept scratching her gums several times. She wish to go back to her old dentist.If I do come back, I will plan accordingly next time and ensure not to squeeze an appointment in the middle of my day, but at the end where I have ample time for delays.

I cant say enough about the staff at this office. But I have to say Dr. Kayla has to be the best dentist that I have ever been to. I have been wearing dentures since 1976, and NEVER have I gotten the personal attention that I received from Dr. Kayla, in regards to fit, and appearance . In my opinion, she went above and beyond, and the finished product reflected her expertise. The entire staff were the best, from the front office to the dental assistants. In just 4 days I walked out with the best looking, and best fit dentures Ive ever had. I, also, would like to give a shout out to the owner of this office ( Im sorry Dr. I cant remember your name ) for taking time from her lunch to deliver my dentures, and check the appearance, and fit, when Dr. Kayla had an emergency, and couldnt be there.Thank you to the entire staff!!!

Very professional and friendly. The office was extremely clean. They make you feel welcomed. I could not give a 5 star review due to me waiting 3 hours just to receive x rays and them not offering some sort of payment plan.

The staff is very courteous however I called for emergency treatment and had to come back a day later to see the specialist who could not do treatment until another appointment weeks later. Do not understand I am in constant pain and cannot wait. Had to find someone else that can treat fast.

Everyone was professional, very kind and patient. They made the first visit utterly painless. They also helped with various payment options, unlike a lot of dental offices. I can now get the treatment I’ve needed for so long but thought I couldn’t afford. Highly recommended.

YOU want Me to give a review??? sure! Lets do this! I will start by saying that the staff was very welcoming and polite. With that said, Iwent in yesterday with a broken tooth that needs to be extracted. I was sent home and instructed to retrieve medications from my pharmacy which included; Antibiotics to assure no infection before the tooth can be extracted, an oral rinse that I paid for OUT OF MY POCKET, and something for the pain, so that I could wait yet, another day to get this thing out of my mouth! I made an appointment for the following morning for extraction. I was told to wait 30 minutes before retrieving said medications because the Dentist was with another patient and would be calling them in after. I went to a few stores and ran some errands for over an hour before heading to the pharmacy. That should be plenty of time, right? WRONG! Okay, Ill call back later. What time do you close? 8pm. No problem. I will call back at 7:30pm. THE DENTIST NEVER CALLED IN MY SCRIPTS!! UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!Needless to say, I am NOT happy! Do your research, people!! I left a message with the office. My appt. this morning was for 8am. It is now 9am and I still have not received a call from them!!!! Get your s**t together people! (This particular office was on Ford Rd in Canton. Dont go there!!!!!!!!!!! :(

I dont know where to even begin, i have been dealing with bad teeth for 10 yrs or more and needed a lot of work done. I was so depressed and stressed out so I was very nervous about seeing a dentist but from the moment I walked into the door they all were so friendly and comforting. They set me up with a treatment plan and it was easy and affordable. I want to personally thank Dr. Kayla, Ashleigh, Haylee, Dr. Lucas, Fatima and Amanda for their amazing work and all the kindness that they have shown me over these past several months. It feels so good to be able to smile without embarrassment again. Thank you all so much.

Initially I was very pleased with Aspen Dental in Canton. I called in the morning about an emergency appointment and the person I talked to on the phone was so sweet. I went in for my appointment and had to wait, which I totally expected since they were fitting me in. The initial employee who took me back was amazing. She did all my X-rays and helped ease my anxiety. The dentist and the hygienist were both really nice as well. The problem I had was when I sat down to go over my treatment plan. First of all you have to pay the day you set up the appointment. Never heard of anywhere doing that, but ok whatever I get it. Then they “ran my insurance.” I’ve never ever had a problem with my insurance before. They said it was because of being a newer office and that they had never seen this insurance before. They informed me that they had to get ahold of their insurance department. I had given them this information over the phone, yet this was still an issue hours later. They gave me a “quote” with out insurance. I told her I was not able to pay out of pocket without insurance, and that’s when things got worse. It was almost like she looked at me like I wasn’t good enough to even be sitting in that office. She said she would call me when she found out more information about my insurance. I said ok and she looked at me like we were done. I decided to speak up. I’m in so much pain and gave a bunch of swelling and they were just going to send me out the door. When I’ve had infections dealing with my teeth in the past I have at least been sent in a prescription for an antibiotic. I asked them if there was anything they were going to do for me, or was this appointment was a complete waste of time. The one girl who had been with me the whole time said she would ask the dentist. They agreed to call in a prescription for me. It’s been hours and still no prescription. So I’m sitting here in pain and with swelling and no solution. Very disappointed. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Only had the initial consultation and I’ll never go back. They claimed I had a bunch of dental problems and the prices caused a sticker shock - after using insurance!I then got a second opinion from a different dental group and Aspen definitely overcharges for unnecessary services you don’t need ... that’s how they makeup fit the free initial consultation. I would not recommend

First let me say that, the Doctor and Hygienist were really nice but not aspen Dental as a company. What I am about to write is not about few dollars but principles. The office/ Aspen Dental as company has deceptive billing practices, double charging and charging for services not provided. The office is setup to maximize billing at any cost, there is no real interest in patient care. My wife had to waste significant amount of time by talking to the office over the phone and in person to correct the problem, but they still tried to justify billing. Even after acknowledging their mistake, there is no apology. If I was a Dentist or Hygienist, I would be ashamed working for a company like Aspen Dental. As an example to maximize billing, they will let you sign paper work for oral cancer screening. The Dentist has to see you and examine your oral cavity any way. If he/she sees anything suspicious lesions, they will tell you that, right? No, you have to pay extra and call it cancer screening for them to tell you what they saw. I am not sure how mortal people working at Aspen dental can sleep at night with what they are doing. And guess what, it is not the wealthy that go to Aspen dental, the office mostly see low income people with discount/low cost dental plans.We will see what we can do to save other people this grief in long term.

Dr. Kayla, Amanda, Haylee, Liz, and Ashleigh were such a comfort to a very nervous patient! Very accommodating team! Office is brightly lit and welcoming. Equipment is state of the art. All charges were explained to me so I understood what was happening. Very affordable as well. I would highly recommending Aspen Dental in Canton.

All of the employees here are extremely kind, caring and understanding. They will not judge you! My teeth have a lot of problems and I used to hate going to the dentist because my old dentist was very judgmental and condescending. But all of the dentists here are nothing like that! The prices here are definitely very reasonable also. I highly recommend this place!The only thing I didn’t like was being pressured into paying $30 extra for an oral cancer screening. The lady was kinda rude when I was unsure if I could afford it, she rudely told me the dentist wouldn’t be doing ANY work on me until I paid for the cancer screening. The cancer screening is basically them shining a flashlight into your mouth for a second.

Terrible experience with Aspen Canton. Went for a deep cleaning, the hygienist didnt seem to know what shes doing, apparently she was fired a few days later. The office manager/billing dont know what they are doing either, as of this point of writing the review, theyre still trying to figure out what is the $655 that they charged me was for. They were supposed to follow up but nobody cares to call back. Just find a different dentist to avoid the headache.

Appointment was schedule for this morning for my father to be seen . Was told they acceptance Medicare insurance from BCN. Well I guess because my dad was black they decided they were not going to accept his insurance. My dad has been in pain since Saturday and has colon cancer. Stay away from this location if you are black and on Medicare . They only provide services to white people in canton.

Dont go there. Went today for a reline for upper and lower dentures. I stated that when I made the appointment. Went back and had x-ray. Told I was here for a annual check up. I said no. A reline. She had to ask the dentist. Came back and said no. No reline today. It takes to long.The lady told me it takes 4 hours. Uh no it does not. I had a reline there in 3019. The dentist just did not want to do it. To sad. They lost a customer. My family and friends have been warned.

Im definitely terrified of dental procedures due to a previous experience with a different company but my visit with Aspen Dental was amazing!Lets start with reception. I ask a billion questions and as someone who needed to get in fairly quickly (I sliced my gum and thought it was infected) she was patient with my questions and made the intake process super easy.Then lets get to Ashleigh (my favorite!!!!!) I was impressed by the X-ray technology Aspen Dental uses and she was able to explain to me the purpose of everything all while keeping me calm throughout my visit as she checked in with me. You can tell she loves her job and Im thankful she was there today! She gave me confident as they explained the items I would be needing and reassuring me that they have some of the best staff (which Ill continue to explain just how):Fatima was my dental hygienist and she is the MOST GENTLE hygienist I have ever seen. The little scrapey tool thats used is extremely uncomfortable but if I wasnt looking at her I may not have known she was even in my mouth. After the experience I had at previous dental companies this gave me so much relief.And of course you cant forget the wonderful Kaylas (Dr. Kayla and Miss Kayla who assist with insurance and billing). Dr. Kayla answered my millions of questions and helped me understand the photos of my teeth to see why the procedures recommended are needed. I didnt feel like she recommended anything for monetary gain but rather to increase my oral health and make my life easier. I particularly liked the 3d prints of my teeth and showing how my bite affected the depth of my teeth. Kayla who assisted with my insurance questions and billings was also understanding of me wanting both options and a bit of reassurance as my appointments are occurring in the transition of insurance years (today in December and next two in January).Ashleigh originally recommended Aspen Dental to me and Im really happy I went today! The office was clean, followed COVID-19 protocols, was inviting, and their entire staff is educated. If you are a bit nervous about going to see a dentist as I am, this is a great office for you to go to, youre in great, caring hands :)!

Aspen Dental as a whole has disappointed me beyond belief. I paid THOUSANDS of dollars for Invisalign, waited patiently through the state shutdown to continue with my progress, only to be met with gross incompetence by the Lake Orion office and the Canton office once they reopened. I have had two appointments to get my new trays and both appointments yielded no treatment. After my original doctor from Lake Orion resigned, I was told I was not allowed to switch Invisalign treatment to another office, only to find out they DID move my treatment without my knowledge. After waiting weeks for that appointment I was told with 1 day notice that my case had been moved and no treatment could be done until the next available date. Which was even later than I had already waited. I showed up for my 2nd appointment, now wearing the same broken trays for 45 days, and was told it would take a few days to transfer the case to the new office. Once again, I left with no treatment. Then, when I received no call about the status of the transfer, I called the Regional Manager Tim Baker. He spoke to the Canton office and I thought I’d be able to get in ASAP due to the broken trays, but still nothing. I ended up finding out they had misplaced my trays, and did not even start my transfer until 2 1/2 days prior to that appointment. I have been patient and understanding, but this is EMBARRASSING for Aspen Dental. I finally broke my patience and asked that they slightly inconvenience somebody else by asking them to reschedule so I could get my work done, and they would not accommodate. At this time I have been wearing the same tray for 53 days, they are broken, and nobody seems to have a problem with that. If I didn’t have to finish my treatment at an Aspen Dental I would never step foot in one again. I have been coming to Aspens for 5 years, and it’s amazing that customer retention is not a priority to them at all. At this point I don’t even know what to do.

Went to Aspen Dental because my dentist couldn’t get me in for an emergency appointment. Everyone was friendly and attentive to my needs. Dr. Kayla was informative and very patient with me. I will agree with the other reviews that treatment took far too long. I was in the office from 8:45-1:30pm for an x-ray and extraction. I’m simply happy my pain was relieved on the first visit.

I used to go to a private practice most of my life. I was recommended by friends and family to Aspen Dental in Canton. It was the most comfortable, amazing experience. I was recommended because of a severe dental pain that was addressed on my new patient visit with no questions asked. They worked with me, not only financially, but worked around my schedule. Theres no stress or anxiety when i know i have to go for a cleaning at Aspen Dental Canton. The Staff is Awesome and make you feel right at home. I went for my first visit in their new office the other day and felt like i had been going for years and years. They offer Invisalign at an amazing price, when i asked, they were helpful and werent pushy about it.Great Place. Definitely would recommend.

5 Stars are not enough for the crew at Canton Aspen Dental!!! My son was petrified of the dentist (tried two other dental practices previously) but the ENTIRE crew at the Canton office has gone above and beyond making him feel safe and comfortable. They thoroughly explain everything they are doing step by step, which has helped him tremendously. He has had two very successful visits and has a third scheduled for next week. He is actually excited about going to the dentist!! Thank you all so much for all you have done and continue to do to make him feel comfortable at each visit. Tried to reach corporate customer service, phone just rings. Canton office is clueless with paperwork. Insurance covered a portion of treatment, they still charged me. Tried to see a specialist that only came to the Taylor location, was changed a consultation fee of $136, never saw the specialist, office states sorry that money was just put towards my balance, no proof thats what it was for, no refund. Lastly sold me the most expensive appliance for my missing tooth and at the fitting dentist told me I could have had a much smaller one for less money! Dont go there unless you like sitting in the lobby for 30 min after you appointment time and dont care about paperwork or follow up.

I literally can not say enough great things about my experience here. Long story short, I havent seen a dentist in YEARS because I havent had dental insurance. Ive always been weary of racking up a bill at a dentist office. However, I need quite a bit of work done. I came across the free exam and set up my appointment.WHEN I TELL YOU, I had a GREAT day. Everyone from the girl at the front desk, to the girl who did my x-rays, to the dentist, and Tiarra were AMAZING. Everyone was so personable and sweet and I didnt feel judged or uncomfortable at all. They did a very thorough exam and let me know everything I needed to get done. When I got to Tiarra to set up the appointments to start getting my work done-WOW. Seriously this woman is the biggest sweetheart I LOVE HER. She did such a good job making everything not only affordable for me, but setting up my next appointments, printing off everything I needed to get my work budgeted out in a way that works for me. I probably asked her a million questions and she was happy to answer every single one of them. She was an absolute joy to talk with.Fast forward a couple days and Im back for a couple fillings. Saw all the same people as I did the first time (I cant remember their names but Ill edit them in as soon as monday when I come in again) and they were so sweet, remembered and everything. I got 3 fillings done today and Dr Kayla? I believe her name is did them and she was AMAZING at making it a quick and easy process. My teeth look BEAUTIFUL. I cant stop looking at them. I cant wait to continue getting my teeth fixed at this office with these amazing people. I cant tell you how much it means to feel good about the people taking care of my teeth as someone with no dental insurance. Ill be bringing my entire family here from now on.Edit to add: Get the toothbrush. That thing is amazing. 😂

This was the worst experience. They told me to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out papers. Then it took almost 45 minutes after that to get me in a room. Once I was in the room it was another 20 minutes b4 I seen anyone. When I set up the appointment they said they accept my insurance and so did the front desk girl. At the end of my visit (2 1/2 hours later) I was informed that they do not accept my insurance. I live almost an hour away from this facility and only went there because I was told when setting up my appointment that this facility was the only one that did implants. Come to find out they do not do implants. When all was said & done I went to the waiting room to wait for a prescription they were giving me for a mouth wash. After waiting for at least 15 minutes and not being able to find anyone who worked there including the front desk girl another women came out and said she had been there for 2 hours and was waiting to speak with someone as well. Needless to say I left without the script and with a bad taste in my mouth with dealing with this company.

I really liked both the dental hygienist and the dentist that took care of me but I left with a giant cut on my lip that I didn’t even realize was there until I got home due to my entire mouth being numb. It also was recommended to me that I get a specific tooth brush and an air flosser. A recommendation was all that was made, no mention of this being put on my bill. When I cashed out, both of these were on my bill. I was willing to buy both, but I really didn’t like the fact that no one mentioned that their “recommendation” was actually something I was going to be charged for. It was an additional $200 on my bill.Edited review: I went to the dermatologist and the cut I got on my lip from Aspen Dental was positive for a staff infection. I am a nurse with good oral hygiene habits and have no doubt that this infection was a result of unhygienic practices on part of Aspen Dental. Imagine going to the dentist and leaving with a staff infection on your lip? Disgusting. Their business practices also seems to be unethical, as mentioned in multiple other reviews. As I stated above, I was charged for both an electric toothbrush and an air flosser, both of which I did not choose to purchase, but were added to my bill anyways. Both the hygienist and office manager assured me I would get both within the week. The hygienist actually had told me I would leave that day with both. It has been 5 weeks now and I haven’t seen either. I understand the pandemic is making everything move slower, but the business practices were shady from the beginning. Hopefully they’ll refund the money. Again, staff was kind, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place due to shady & clearly unhygienic business practices.

TERRIBLE. I came to Aspen when my regular dentist recommended I see an endodontist. I made an appointment to have the tooth in question evaluated. When I arrived for the first appointment, they started taking xrays of my entire mouth. I had to stop them and explain that I was there for a single tooth. After examining the tooth in question, I was told I needed a root canal and so i made the appointment. At the root canal appointment, with the endodontist, I was in the chair for about an hour. At that point, the endodontist said he couldnt find the canal and he couldnt complete the root canal. He filled my tooth with a temporary filling that was very rough and bothered me the entire weekend. I returned Monday to get the temporary filling removed and the permanent filling placed. After driving to the office and waiting for 15 minutes once I got there, I was told they couldnt do the permanent filling and that I had to see an endodontist. I had just seen their endodontist on the previous Firday. I guess their endodontist didnt know what he was doing and apparently they dont think they have anyone else that could do it either. They referred me a non-Aspen endodontist. If that wasnt bad enough, the fact that they never even called so that I could avoid wasting my time driving there to get the bad news was just rude. I will never step foot in that of any other Aspen dental office again.

Appointment at 8 am arrived at 745. Paper work filled out by 8am since I could not do online yet they asked me to do online. So after sitting for an hour waiting I asked what the deal was. Multiple excuses. After all said and done finally finished after 11am. Only to find out pricing on things way to exuberant. I wont be back after that experience.

Horrible experience. I just went today and it was terrible. The hygienist stuffed a painful needle in my mouth and caused my gums to bleed, and then tried to say I had gum disease! The lady with the short red hair and the skinny lady with the long black hair just sat in the office and talked about everything else like I was not sitting there waiting to leave. They persisted on having me apply for carecredir even though I told them I knew I would be denied. I would not recommend this place. Do not go here ever or you will regret it. They had a student in there working on my teeth and he really hurt me and the lady with experience didnt say anything. It was ridiculous! I agree that if I could rate no stars, I would

First and Last time to this practice. If you like overpaying for terrible service, you will love this place.Not even the worst tooth ache Would ever make me go back. They are great at getting you in the door, but the service thereafter is rushed, they will force you into cash paid services and bill you for Some insurance paid services like routine X-rays. It took numerous calls, unanswered emails to the manager, and finally walking in ( where you will find the staff sitter in a circle in the front storytelling and laughing). They then make it seem like they did you a big favor by revising their billing, which was an error on their part ( read other review and see how many ppl complained about their dishonest billing practices). Horrible experience all around- from the hygienist to the dentist. Lastly, staff not wearing a mask and subpar sterilization protocols- in a middle of a pandemic, were reason enough to never go back.

I was in a lot of pain. I had a broken tooth on the bottom right side. I have not been to a dentist on at least 5 or 6 years. I had a bad experience having some teeth pulled and a top plate made. When I called Aspen Dental the young lady on the phone was so nice she got me in within the hour. When I got to Aspen Dental for my appointment I was still very worried, but everyone I came in contact was so caring & friendly from the person at the front desk all the way through to the dentist. They put me at ease and took care of my problem right away. I Wii definitely recommend them to any one I know who needs a dentist. Thank you so much!!!

I will never as long as there is life visit this location/company, I am a new patient and was scheduled for a Appt today at 8 am, I arrived at 7:45 Just in case there were new patient forms that needed to be completed in person. When my appt time arrived no one still was there I even followed the note on the door to call as I would have to be let in, after a hr of waiting no one still arrived or even returned my phone call from the vmail I was advised to leave, I was waiting on my transportation to arrive which did not come until 9:25 and no one still was there, Even with covid going on is still not a justification because my appt was set up while covid was at its worse and even then why schedule me for a Appt this early when there is a chance no one would be there it even goes against the business hrs for today which states 8-1 on Fridays. Thank you Aspen Dental for your poor patient experience I have never dealt with a business that can provide such a inconvenience, yet you all previously been rated 5 stars yea 5 lies.

Worst experience ever ! It took me 2 appointments to get the X-rays done. And the second appointment took 2 hours. The front desk assured me that the X-rays were free of charge, but right after the service they charged my insurance $232, in which I have to pay $94 out of pockets -- very dishonest practice ! I am never coming back and will let everyone around me know of this.

The appointment was great scheduling but when I arrive the staff was not efficient at all I was in pain need help with a cavity to be fill or a prep for a crown they told me hours later they have to reschedule me after laying in pain then I asked about a cleaning they said sure I sat there another hour or very unprofessional I understand about COVID but still not professional no service was rendered only X-ray and I am insured with dental coverage

I would not give them any stars for service. Went for partial repair appt was 10:30 was there till after 3:00 PM. Had to go through their procedures.. took 45 minutes doing xrays... He was very new and nervous asked him why no one was helping him! Finally after numerous tries the lady who had experience came and did ALL the xrays again! The hygienist is super but.. told me I have quite a few issues? Very expensive cleaning needed.. 2 appointments costing over $700? Then The dentist told me more issues? Total plan $9900!!! Yeah oh and the partial repair doesn’t fit right asked the dentist for an adjustment she did one articulate didn’t seem as if she wanted to. I was so tired, hungry and cold I said forget it! Needless to saying going to a private practice honest Dentist to fix repair and another opinion!! I have been seeing a regular Dentist he retired why didn’t he tell me all these issues? Makes you want to go hmmmm? There all about the dollars!! Very very expensive and I feel dishonest!!!

If I could give no stars I would! Went in for the free 1st patient exam n xray, the only good to come from this Liz the Dental assistant and Amanda the Dental Hygienist. My appointment was at 245 didnt see anyone til well after 4pm! Long story short I didnt leave this place until almost 8pm! Cause I was being bounced from room to room and spent more time sitting n waiting for an actual dentist! When she finally came she wasnt the nicest and just jammed a needle in my mouth with no regard that I was already in pain! I was told a prescription was called in for me antibiotics and ibuprofen, they even asked the phone number and address of said pharmacy....called to see how much they were... NOT ONE PRESCRIPTION had been called in. So if u value your mouth I would say under no circumstances visit Aspen Dental in Canton. I would take anyone I care about there. Been calling ALL DAY about my prescription and no answer not even a response to the 3 voicemails I left! This place is a joke!

I was not happy with my experience at Aspen Dental. I had an appointment for a cleaning but did not receive one. I was told I would receive a cleaning when I checked in but only received teeth xrays and a slightly painful oral examination. What Im mostly upset about is the time I wasted there. 2 hours and did not get what I expected all while my family waited in the lobby.

The administrative staff is confused of how insurance coverage work.They painted me a rosy picture on the phone that every thing will be taken care by insurance and things turned out completely different when I reached their clinic and yes go to aspen if you have a lot of money as their dental procedure would cost you a fortune

Excellent work group, all very attentive and willing to serve. The doctor is very sweet and dedicated to that as a patient we understand the procedures and treatment to follow.
