Stayed over night at this campground 3 months ago. Beautiful area, campsites are close but the people are very friendly . They made us feel welcomed. So glad we had the opportunity to meet genuinely good people. They were truly a blessing.

If youve never been to this part you need to get here immediately the guy who runs this place is the best man Ive ever met in the world nice as can be would give you the shirt off of his back this place is beautiful lots and lots of autumn colors lots and lots of awesome wildlife its on a giant lake if you have a fishing pole if you have a boat you better bring it bring your camping gear grab a fire grab a lawn chair unbelievable I would come here again and again and again and again its so gorgeous everyday was a new adventure and Ive been here for the past two weekends

This place is awesome! Jack the guy that runs it ,makes it easy and painless to get set up. Very great place to camp and have a great time .

Last weekend my family and I went and camped out here.. loved it. People are so friendly and make you feel welcomed. Loved the showers. My kids cant wait to go back.. see you all two weekends from now..

If you keep your site clean its not too bad. Youre very close to one another at each site but people usually stay on their own and dont tend to bother each other much. Some tent sites are unlevel but for the most part if you get here before dinner there are usually a few decent spots left. Bathrooms are cleaned daily now, big change from last year. Another big change is the lack of partying all night going on during weekends. It has been fairly quiet every time we have camped this year. Its been mostly pleasant!

They need to do maintenance on the campground docks and allow for boat slips, so tax payers can enjoy the lake! The worst is the lack of upkeep at the swimming area by just posting a few signs and not providing any guards. We do not swim there, but it is always filled with people even though the facilities are not maintained and there are no lifeguards. I believe they need to either make repairs, hire some lifeguards or enforce it being closed by having security at least during the hot season! As a family that bought a boat to use the lake and pay the fees we assumed the restrooms would be maintained and open by the loading dock.

Fun place, great times, a must see.

Lake,roadways,and picnic areas look great. Camping area closed,thats the reason I was there. Spots look close but will stop back later in season.

Great place to camp, friendly atmosphere abundant fishing and boating. Would be nice to see the city update electrical to 50 amp for some of the newer campers ,and level a few of the camper sites

It is a great campground an you meet nice people out there.

This place gets worse every year! Do not bring your family here unless you want your kids waking on broken glass through out the campground. Also the road through the campground has lots of traffic with people driving fast. Its has white trash as it gets and the only reason we come here (which is once a year)is i have a dirt bike race close by and is the only place to camp. I would rather camp in someones corn field than this place.
