I cannot believe the bad reviews of all you guys shaming this place putting this place down like you all are and saying such bad stuff about this place its unbelievable. Saying that this place is filthy smh I dont know what nursing home Yall talking about but this place is far from being filthy. I have never seen this place filthy at all its kept very well cleaned. I wish you could give a thumbs down to your guys comments. This nursing home is the best ever the greatest and Im so grateful my dad has been in this nursing home since 2010 and they take such great care of him they treat my dad like hes one of their relatives. They keep him well fed and clean and take care of all his needs. My mother was also staying in this nursing home in 2009 when she found out she had liver cancer and the staff was AWESOME to her they always made sure she was always comfortable and they let us family take turns staying the whole night with her up on till her final days when she died. They let us have all the time in the world with her on her last day on earth they even bring us free food and drinks. They were always checking in on my mom even if one of her family members was there with her. They were so helpful and understanding and answered any questions we had.

This place should be shut down by the state immediately! The staff does not pay attention to the residents at all. The entire nursing home is filthy. There are no sinks in the bathroom for the residents to even wash their hands! I walked past so many rooms and saw zero staff taking care of the patients. I found the entire staff just sitting in a break room doing nothing. They do not check on their patients on a regular basis. Do not let your loved one stay here. It is a hazard to say the least. I also would have rated a zero if I could.

I give this place a 0 star rating. This place is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE and should be shut down. A dear friend was here and they treated her horribly. She was found sitting in her wheelchair without clothes on and in her own waste. Nobody came to check on her. They brought food to her room and didnt think about why she was not eating. These people do not care. They should no longer be allowed to operate as a place for people who need assistance. They need shut down. This place is HORRIBLE!

Id give it 0 stars if I could. This place is horrible. My grandma regressed while in this place plus died suddenly 2.5 weeks ago & another family member suddenly died on 4/25/16 after only being there for two days. Both lost there pulses & heart stopped. Grandma had 3 UTIs while in there for 6 months. Was supposed to be there for physical rehab but ended up being stuck in a wheelchair chair all day. Family was in the process of looking into other options but then Grandma suddenly passes...this place isnt a hospice but yet go there & you die...my Grandma was found on April 5th, 2016 with no pulse at (STONE CROSSING LAMPLIGHT ON 34TH ST, CANTON, OHIO) for who knows how long she was last checked on. Paramedics brought her back but it was too late & she lost oxygen to her brain. Grandma was at Mercy hospital for 5 days on life support & with no brain activity. On April 10th, 2016, my Grandma passed. As of Thursday April 19th, 2018, there is a story in the Canton Repository about a man who wandered away from Stone Crossing & was found not alive two days later a couple of miles away. Stone Crossing needs shut down! How many other people have to go through this before it gets shut down, how many residents who suddenly died here are out there like my Grandma that we dont know about? PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! Updating the name to Glen wood care, DOESNT/HASNT/WONT change the facts & experience of Stone Crossing Lamplight aka Glenwood Care.
