Got an appointment for the whole family very clean place and staff is very pleasant and friendly ,I appreciated how we were seen promptly and everything was streamlined ,we all were in and out in about an hour. And we had all got eye exams and ordered glasses and contacts. Really good experience with the obstetrician he was very down to earth and answered every question I had asked him. Definitely will come again for our next annual exams!

Yesterday I had the best experience ever at this lens crafters , been shopping around for a month for the perfect frames and Tina assisted me with so much Grace and patience her customer service is impeccable and any frames I get in the future will definitely come from this location! This was the Best Eye Experience I have ever had with an eye doctor. Dr Sean Lawless was amazing. He educated me on my particular eye condition and was so willing to be helpful. I have never left a review for an eye doctor but his customer service was wonderful. Thank you

The assistant said my glasses and frames were in stock same day as my appointment I tried to pay for them but their apple machine was down. I paid next day but assistant didn’t tell me until after I paid that now I’d have to wait 10-14 days to receive glasses. Good staff but lousy service/turnaround time

During my most recent visit on July 19, 2021 at the Lenscrafters store #2267, in Calumet City, IL, I was immensely pleased that the Assistant manager Marc shared with me that I could utilize my AARP card for additional savings on accessories 😀. As a frequent purchaser of Eyewear 👓 cleaner and cloths, no one has ever shared that information with me.Kudos to Marc!

Dr. Lawless and his team are so awesome! The staff is super nice and the store is always clean, neat and inviting.

Very nice people but when I picked up my glasses, after 3 weeks of waiting, my sunglasses had no tint all at. The glasses had to be sent back for modification, and the previous prescription lenses were not returned as requested.

The lady who did my exam she explained everything she was about to do and very friendly. My eye tech he also was very informative. Explained every step and made sure I understood. Have a follow up next week to see how my contacts worked. Very professional office Calumet City

Had to go here as it was for safety glasses paid for by my employer. Took 5 calls and multiple attempts to finally make an appointment which I showed up to 15 minutes early....45 minutes after my scheduled time I was seen! Dr. Was great and I picked out my frames and was told that it usually takes about a week to get glasses. Here we are 9 days later and I called to find out if they are in yet and was told while she laughed that Oh they take 14-21 days! Im now on a forced vacation due to no safety glasses and Im losing all my vacation time! Never again will I go here!

Ive had it with Lenscrafters. A couple of weeks ago, I went there with my prescription, looking to buy a couple of pairs of glasses. They were rude and inconsiderate throughout the whole process.First, I was scolded for not having an appointment (mind you, it was the middle of the day, it is one of their larger stores, I was the only customer in the place when I arrived, and from what I could tell, the employees were not terribly busy). I asked if I could make an appointment, and I was then handed a tray, and told to pick no more than 5 pairs of frames to try on.Ordering lenses was an ordeal. I wanted hi-index lenses. First I was told that they were not available for the frames I had. I asked Are you sure?, and the person then grudgingly found them and let me order them. I ordered two pairs, exactly the same.I later received a text message stating your new glasses are ready for pickup. Turns out, this means only one pair (which I found out after driving > 25 minutes each way in the middle of my work day). When I suggested they be more descriptive in their text messaging, I was again scolded, this time by the manager, who chastised me for not being fully versed in Lenscrafters text messaging protocols. I was instructed repeatedly that I needed to take it up with corporate, because I was somehow wrong for misreading the text message.Calling corporate was no easy task. I was on hold for > 25 minutes, until a very nice lady told me that the only way to discuss my issue, was to fill out a form and wait 5-10 business days, for someone to call me back. Instead of 5 business days, I received an email 5 hours later thanking me for my time, and to have a great day. Looks like that is in lieu of the promised phone call.If anyone in the store, had expressed even the most minimal sympathy towards me, been anything other than combative, or somehow given me something slightly better than a 100% negative experience, I would feel different. Instead I encountered very hostile people in the store who obviously hate their job. I now understand the reason why the store is always empty.It shouldnt be this hard to buy a pair (in this case, two pairs) of glasses. I spent over $1000 on these, not to mention whatever portion my insurance company paid. When my second pair arrives, I now know that I will receive a second text message, as I have been educated on Lenscrafters customer policies. I also know their return policy is 30 days no questions asked. I will be returning both pairs and getting my glasses elsewhere.

I loved my experience at this location! The staff was very professional & they are doing very well at managing the location during this pandemic. My exam was super thorough & the doctor who saw me made sure I understood everything about my results. Even though they were busy I still felt valued as a customer. Great job!!

Staff is very friendly and Dr. Lawless was great! I wish theyd had more of a pocket friendly selection, kept being drawn to a pair I already had, but I did manage to find a pair of glasses and sunglasses that I like very much.

My experience at lens crafters was so pleasant and informative as usual. Ive been a customer for over 15 years and my daughter for the past 6 years. The doctor and staff are so professional and put your at ease.

Love it here. I have been coming for years to this location. My only complaint... youre going to spend some time here. If youre looking to pop in and out it may not be the case here. However, every member of staff is very thorough and makes sure you are clear on every process through every step.

I’ve been going to Precision LensCrafters for several decades, the one in River Oaks Mall, and today the location on Torrence. To be honest, I go for my annual eye exam with Dr. Sean Lawless, which I actually look forward to. He is absolutely the best! He is patient, calm, thorough, takes his time, and explains everything. He’s the very model of what you want in a doctor. I can not recommend him highly enough. Julia helped me with my glasses. She’s very experienced, meticulous in processing all of the details, and easy to talk with. Sure, I wish the glasses cost less, but you can’t beat the service. I’ll be back next September.

The slim caucasian male doctor that works in the stand alone location on Torrence told my 15 year old daughter her stigmatism improved from the last time he examined her. I didn’t know this was possible or was she misdiagnosed two years ago? Also, the long hair ( female sales person) didn’t even know how to read the measurements on frames. I had to tell her...After going to this location for years, this current staff isn’t very good at ALL. I’m taking my daughter to another doctor to get a second opinion.

Very professional and friendly staff. Every step and procedure was explained with patience. Nice and clean. Not a long wait to be seen. Dr was awesome.

It took a onth to get my glasses. I had to take them back because i could not read using them.The grinding of the lenses were off

Made a appointment at 1240 it took and 1hr and half. Until I seen a doctor. The doctor was helpful and knowledgeable. The biggest problem I had was the wait after making and being on time for my appointment. The prices was more expensive than anticipated.

I could not be more upset!! Went for my family’s annual eye exam (first time at this location). Had a 3:40 and 4:00 appointment. Called at 2:15 and asked if I could be seen if we came earlier, was told yes. Get there at 2:30. Took an hour before we actually had the exam (now we’re in our original appointment time). AFTER the exams are completed and I’m checking out (now 2 hours later), I’m expecting to not pay anything since my exams are free once a year with my insurance. Ended up having to pay almost $40.00 (for a single exam). I asked why and was told it was a special exam my eye requires. Had I know it wasn’t free today I would not have had it done! I wasn’t buying anything through them anyway as it cost too much. I asked why no one told me in advance or gave me option to decline and the check out gentleman had no answers. No one was willing to give me any answers and I am beyond pissed!! I’ll be calling the manager on Monday and you better believe I will NEVER step foot in that location ever again.Ask questions about everything before you get set up!!!

Purchased 2 pair of eye glasses a few months back. Staff was very helpful when trying to purchase a specific set of glasses. Abbey(store associate) made my experience less stressful and she went above and beyond with helping me select a great pair of glasses and sunglasses.

They got my prescription wrong and wouldn’t give me a refund for the new prescription even though they made the mistake.

My glasses was broken and I need them fix so I went there to get them fix and the lady said they couldn’t fix them plus I payed to much money for one pair of glasses anyway never again I will back there

There are about 8 people waiting and only 1 person working. Apparently the manager left knowing he had 1 employee working and already 4 people waiting. There are people who are very upset and have been waiting more than an hour. I have a very simple request that will take only a minute to ring up and I imagine Ill be hear all day.Not a very good manager... I feel sorry for the staff. I have been a manager at several companies and under many district managers. None would be ok with me leaving in this kind of situation. I have also never been ok with staff leaving in this kind of situation unless they cleared with me prior that they had something scheduled.This is not good for the company. Never seen this at a lens Crafters been going here exclusively for over 25 years and more frequently since needing glasses regularly for the last 17 years.
