I called in for an emergency toothache and they were able to get me an appointment AND perform the procedure to fix it that same day. They were quick and effective and I am so incredibly glad I found them! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

I never leave reviews because I typically have good experiences at businesses or things arent worth mentioning but it feels as though this is a common theme of this office as seen by other negative reviews. The doctor himself and his assistants are very friendly and do a good job but his receptionists and billing department need some work. I have not ever had a negative encounter with someone who works in customer service ever before. I also work in customer service and I try my hardest to be as compassionate and understanding as possible but in this circumstance I was told multiple times that my double insurance would fully cover my basic 6 month cleaning. However, because of a minor mix up on their end and not looking into it more fully the insurance did not cover it all, because of a few day mix up on dates. I then went into the office to attempt to explain what happened and before I could even finish explaining Debbie told me that they dont guarantee what insurance does, even though I was guaranteed that my insurance would cover it. Most insurances cover teeth cleanings so I was assured by everyone in the office that it would be covered.Then, when I attempted to keep explaining I was stopped and told I need to call the insurance company instead. So I asked if I could talk to the doctor, and I know this sounds a bit like an extreme action but it was justified in this sense. She told me to take a seat so I did, and then after waiting she said the doctor was at lunch and they would have to call me. So I said, ok, when might the doctor be back ? and she responded with when he gets back from lunch but he has patients and we will have to call you. I am absolutely understanding that he has patients and I wouldnt want to intrude so I left, but the way that she spoke to me was not friendly in any way and I still have a bill for a cleaning that should have been normally covered.I will be using another dentists office in the future despite how nice Dr. Tom is simply because of the administrative side.

I have been doing business with the Blaisdell Dental Center for years. I had his grandfather when I growing up in the 70s. Now that I have returned and retired, and now I have his grandson being my dentist. My dental assistant is very thorough, gentle, patient, and caring when she takes care of my teeth. They are a wonderful team to have when you have them for your dental health.

Going to the dentist has never been my favorite thing to do, which is true for a lot of people, but Dr. Tom and staff are always very kind and make the experience a lot more pleasant. The office is always sparkling clean and, at the same time, is an inviting and warm atmosphere. I highly recommend Dr. Blaisdell and staff!

Such a great office. Very friendly and professional. Ayricah is a fantastic hygienist. She has a gentle touch but still manages to leave my teeth feeling clean—no throbbing gums when she does the flossing.Dr. Tom is very knowledgeable and only recommends the type of procedures that I need. I have complete confidence that what he suggests is the best option, especially for the long term. To top things off, Dr. Tom has an easy-going chair side manner that puts me at ease.

We would never recommend going to Blaisdell Dental. We feel he took advantage of the situation, not properly checking to find out what my husbands insurance coverage was (thats what a reputable office would do) , even after my husband informed them that he had just had this procedure done a few months ago. They proceeded with the procedure and then billed us for over $1,000! Had this been properly checked, they would have known the procedure wasnt covered! I would never ever agree to proceed! As we were in the process of an appeal with the insurance, I was turned over to collections, even though I had paid on the account. After talking with them, they did rescind it for now. I was hoping to continue to make monthly payments, but they will only allow it to be paid in 30 days. I strongly feel they should share in the responsibility of the excessive charges that was pushed on me!! Now I have learned from the x-rays, and another dentist treating me, that I have severe infection surrounding the roots of 4 of my teeth! To say I am highly disappointed in the care I received at Blaisdell Dental, would be an understatement!! I have gone here when John was the dentist and was very pleased. Unfortunately, I cant say that now!!.....signed, Barry!

Wow!! Great visit. I am a big chicken when it comes to dentistry. I have had some not so good times seeing a dentist. Dr Blaisdell was the best... taking the time to inform me and make me feel comfortable and AMY was amazing, compassionate and did a stellar job helping me relaxed and comfortable having my teeth done. I will be back and highly recommend them for your dentistry needs.

Dr. Blaisdell is the best dentist we have ever had! I am one of those people who had a traumatic dental experience as a kid, and I have never had a dentist like Dr. Blaisdell who has been so compassionate and understanding. I have had to get two fillings and both went so smoothly! I couldnt believe that I didnt have to be in pain during and after such a procedure. My bite has even been better after the dental work. The hygenists are wonderful and the entire staff is very professional and friendly. So thankful to have found a great dental center!

Dr. Tom and his team make it a pleasure to visit the dentist! I have never experienced such a warm welcome at the dentists office or in any other health care setting for that matter. I have especially never had a provider sit down next to me as a new patient and just listen. Dr. Tom did just that. He listened intently to my concerns, asked questions, and then addressed each issue individually. I did not feel rushed and I most certainly sensed that he truly cares about his patients. This is a young man who takes pride in his practice, his profession, and his community. He is extremely confident and knowledgeable as well. Did I mention the personal follow up call to thank me for coming in and to again express that it was nice to meet me? 5 stars for genuine kindness alone! This doctor was a breath of fresh air in a world that needs kindness more than ever!

Love these guys! I have been going to Blaisdell Dental since I was 7 years old. I have never had a bad experience with them. When people say they are scared of their dentist or they feel to much pain I dont understand it. That has not been my experience for any trip I have taken to the dentist. This includes fillings root canals and a crown. All the staff from Dr Blaisdell down are amazing and so nice.

The best dentist Ive been to in a very long time! I believe Ive found my long term dental home. Dr. Tom is great! He explains everything he is doing and plans to do. I am terrified of dentists. I don’t know why I go into anxiety. I’m an adult, not a child and for years I have had this problem. Let me tell you Dr. Tom is the most gentle, caring doctor ever. I was made so comfortable, NO anxiety, and my visit was superb. I did not experience any pain before or after my surgery. I have found my dentist, my doctor, my friend. I have been with Blaisdell for about 60 years. And now I drive 2 hours to there from my home near Buhl. They do very good work. They tell me when they see something I should know, but they dont pressure me. I have recommended them to my friends several times. I am always impressed by the new technologies in their office.

I have the worst dentist anxiety but this office makes it feel like a delightful dental party. Really, they are all fabulous and Dr Blaisdell does a great job. Id be so bold to say this is my favorite dentist office ever.

I travel 45 minutes out of my way to go to this dentist. I wouldnt want to go anywhere else. The staff is personable and very professional. Unlike most, Dr.Blaisdell has a true passion for his profession and it shows. He takes time to do the job right the first time. He is a pain-free, patient dentist who always takes time to make sure you will be completely comfortable and answers any questions you have. All dental work I have had was done perfectly and professionally. I highly recommend him.

They are always up-to-date with the latest in dental equipment and practices and treat you with respect and professionalism. I would never consider changing dentists. Anna did a great job on my last cleaning and very attentive to my comfort through out the processes.Great job and fabulous new facility.

He has been the primary reason as to why I enjoy going to the dentist; there are NO judgements! I just had my cleaning a few days ago, and the hygienist was so pleasant. I couldnt possibly say enough positive things about this dentist! Love that its a family run place for generations, local, and professional yet caring. From the receptionists to the hygienists, to the amazing Tom, Im never disappointed. You are always matched with the same hygienist for routine cleanings. I adore Anna. She does a fantastic job and I love that Ive gotten to know her at a personal level. And then Dr. Tom. Such a great guy and friend. Hes very boistrous and super friendly. You always know where Tom is in the building :). Ive been going there for 6 years for my routine cleanings every 6 months. I dont have insurance but they have an awesome patient loyalty program where they offer two cleanings a year, x-rays once a year, and discounts if you actually run into a problem. Which I did this week. Broke an old filling. They got me right in the next day. Re-filled the tooth in less than a half hour and I was on my way. I even forgot my debit card and they let me call in with payment once I got home. Ill never see another dentist.

I dont reccomend this dentist.(edit reply)yeah their was a huge miscommunication, because i told the lady at the front desk i wanted to pay in full. which i did. she never told me it was an estimated charge. which is stupid. how do you come up with the remaining charge after? oops i forgot to charge him for the floss i was working out of town and i never received a call about a remaining charge till it came from collections. not i got sued for it. so thanks, right around christmas time. thanks for limiting what i can buy for my kids. ive heard you guys give estimated charges often, and those people were surprised aswell.

Dr. Tom has taken the office to a new high. The staff is coordinated, pleasant, helpful and just nice. The office is clean, uncluttered and very professional. I had a crown done and it was seamless. No pain, just a little discomfort and done in about 50 minutes. The cementation was perfect and needed just a touch of reduction to get the bite perfect. I know what is good work and I know what is above just average--Blaisdell Dental Center has what you need to keep and love your teeth. John
