Karen did my hair which after I noticed my email said I was scheduled with Brooke. After getting home and looking all of my hair all underneath is a different length. The stylist was also very rough throughout the whole haircut hitting my ear repeatedly while vigorously combing. My hair was hard to comb through due to not being cut in almost a year with COVID but Ive never experienced that kind of roughness. Also stylist was Not very talkative and seemed extremely rushed and not interested in being there, definitely felt awkward. Had I known my hair had bottom pieces that were longer and stuck out so bad I would have said something but was not given a mirror to see. Also extremely choppy. I definitely thought for an almost $70 haircut I would have walked out with a much better cut and experience, I cried when I stopped and got a good look all the roughness and money was not worth it and now I have to walk around until my regular salon has space to fix it. Im not sure if the stylist has modern cut experience because the modern bob I showed her is not what I recieved. One of the worst hair experiences I have had.

The individuals working at Coles Salon are talented, professional and pleasant. I go there for all my beauty needs (they are more than just a hair salon) and have never had a bad experience. Highly recommend!

I go to this salon and have always loved their work, but I brought my daughter for her first salon haircut and it was even better. The front desk was kind and made a point to say hello to her and Jenna did such a wonderful job of figuring out what she wanted and keeping up conversation with her. We will definitely both be back!

I got the 75 minute hot stone massage. Suzanne was AMAZING. She was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable right when I walked in. I’ve had many massages over the years, but this was by far the most relaxed I’ve ever felt after having one done. Such a great experience!

She is a great communicator, asking questions and listening well to ensure you get what you are looking for. She was able to help me with some terrible problem areas in my shoulders and back when I couldnt get any relief elsewhere. I leave my appointments with her feeling like a new person!

I had a facial and waxing with Jen today, it was my first ever…. I am obsessed now. What an extraordinary experience, as an RN relaxation is not something I am used to but this was definitely what I needed. She was WONDERFUL!!!!! She grabbed extra pillows as I’ve reached the stage that I look extra chubby but it’s not comfortable to lay flat on my belly. She was attentive, made sure I was comfortable. It was honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Please ask for Suzanne! She was truly fantastic and amazing! Warm and beautiful personality, easy to talk to and just easy to be around when trying to relax!

I had Callie do my hair and she did a terrible job. I asked for a balayage and I came out with a full foil. She said there was miscommunication, however I showed her a photo of what I wanted. You can’t really have miscommunication when a photo of the end results is supposed to look like. I paid and tipped but would’ve rather not. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed.

I really like going to this salon! Ive gotten my hair cut and highlighted by Kaitlyn a few times and she did a great job overall. The only thing that could have been different was that she took a razor and diagonally famed both sides of my hair without asking (both times). I have pretty frizzy and curly hair so my front pieces are kind of always extra frizzy now but hopefully that grows out.

Great place to come for a trim or styling! Teresa is great with all of her clients, young and old. Will continue to be a customer for a long time to come.

I have been going to this salon for nearly twenty years now and to Teresa for over ten of them. The salon is professional, clean, relaxing and friendly. Ive tried other salons when I havent been able to fit in an appointment or lived out of state and havent found a place Ive loved or a person who does my hair or cares about me as a person as much. Cant say enough how wonderful both are.

I made my appointment for my maid of honor style, when I called I had asked if any stylist could do fingerwaves knowing its not as common of a request, I offered to send in photos of what i was looking for but the woman on the phone had a stylist in mind and to plan for a longer visit due to the type of style.When I got to the salon the stylist was very sweet and kind. I showed her photos of what I was looking for and she very confidently told me she could achieve the look with a hard set. Once the curls were done and she was trying to set the style i could tell the wave pattern wasnt working and below are the photos of what she achieved. I had to get to the wedding and didnt have time to get anything changed. But overall i was disappointed with the outcome of the style, especially after I was reassured on the scheduling day it would be no problem at all.

Great cut from a senior stylist. Its worth the money to pay a bit more.

Great atmosphere, very friendly stylists. You can pick the level of stylist you want, which means you can pick how much you are willing to spend (less money for less experienced stylist, more for an advanced stylist). All chairs have their own sink so you never wait for a wash. In my opinion, this is a great place to go if you want to avoid the disaster of a $10 haircut, but dont want to pay boutique prices.

Ive been seeing Kelsey for the past 4 years or so. Shes amazing! Always listens, makes recommendations and is honest when I want to do something that will take time or wont work well.

Loved working with Jenna, she did a great job of doing my hair for my friends wedding even during the pandemic!

I love my stylist!! Which would be the only reason I would go back there. Bob and Kelsey are amazing!! I’m a bit disappointed with the customer service with those who answer the phones. I called to let them know I was going to be at MOST 10 minutes late for my appointment and the lady at the front desk told me I had to reschedule... I was almost there!!!!! Plus it takes them like 10 minutes after you check in to grab you anyway.. I just don’t understand. I live a half hour a away so I wasted all that time for nothing. Finding time away as a mom is nearly impossible, this was very disappointing. Ive been a customer there for at least a year and I’ve never been late to an appointment. Shocking they don’t have even 5 minutes leeway for a valued customer.

Beautiful shop that is easy to find and has plenty of parking. The doors open up to the check-in and waiting room which is comfy cozy! Hot drinks are available to sip as you wait. They offer mens, womens, & children hair care. And they also have a nail salon and skin care (waxing too)! This place is FULL SERVICE WITH STYLE! I Love going to Coles Salon, because I always feel so pampered and special!

Not gonna lie I am kind of upset with my experience. I came in tonight for a pedicure and my tech was 20 minutes late which was fine because I was notified. I was a little frustrated because I got home and my feet barely look different from when I came in. The only good thing is the polish otherwise my feet still look dry. I don’t think I’ll be back here. The plus was that the nail tech was very nice. My negative review is because of the price I paid and the quality.

Went to the Burnsville location for the first time. I absolutely love what Kelsey did with my hair! Great colorist and super friendly! I will be back to see her, she is now my go to girl!

Went into Coles salon for the first time I was super nervous to cut a good amount of my hair off but I am super glad I did! My stylist was Kassie and she did beyond an amazing job! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she helped me achieve exactly what I wanted and made sure it worked with my hair. I would totally recommend Kassie and will be coming back!

Susan for custom facial was amazing!! It was the whole works: upper body massage, sugar hand scrub, hot stone, extractions, exfoliating, great smelling products,hot towels, arm pulling(what ever the correct terminology for that is, it felt great) etc.And one of the best things was I requested I didn’t want to small talk and just relax and that’s exactly what I got!! Also, by paying the higher price don’t have to worry about upgrade or added fees or talk about prices in the room. No. I just want to relax. Ended the facial with a foundation that is good for post-facial I agreed to do it this time but will pass next time. Wasn’t my exact color but I sure was glowing. It was phenomenal. I’ll be back soon!I would have the recommendation to oil up the light , it was a little creaky so was funny hearing it move every time.

Have always had a great cut and color here! I had Alyssa most recently and she did a great job on my curly hair. The only thing I wish they would clarify is when you pay is how to tip! They dont allow you to charge on your card in my experience, so make sure you bring cash.

Okay so the overall persona of the salon is fine and dandy and all but given my experience at previous Coles Id expected them to at least put a little effort into making sure their stylists were professionals. For example; Molly trimmed my bangs the other day and I left with crooked, uneven, bangs. The whole reason I pay for this stuff was because I was afraid theyd look like this - except I probably could have done a better job. Im sure with time and practice she will improve - just wish I wasnt the guinea pig
