Very thorough and comfortable. All concerns are fully discussed and explained completely. Doctor Brassington is so personable, caring, and thorough in his work. He helps with decisions and never pushes anything unless it is in your absolute best interest.

I arrived 18 minutes before my appointment. The receptionist checked me easily. The waiting room had chairs separated for social distancing. I was called back 20 minutes after my appointment time. The staff members I encountered were very professional and thorough in the procedures. They were also careful to clean the equipment used. My doctor arrived, apologizing for the long wait. He also reviewed and explained things well. I had an eye exam, pressure checks, dilation, some pictures of macula, a review of the beginnings of a cataract. I left with appointments in six months for a field of vision test and another exam. It would help if scheduling was done without the longer wait times, but the care and attention I received was top-notch.

My recent appointment with Dr Brasington at Alamance Eye Center was excellent from start to finish. Amy at check-in is the perfect combination of friendliness and competence. Dr. Brasington’s assistant, Karen, exhibits the highest degree of technical expertise along with a kind and compassionate spirit. Dr. Brasington identified the cause of my problem, and treated it with a short procedure. He was able to complete it during the appointment, eliminating the necessity for a return visit. Check out was also seamless.All in all, the perfect visit. Couldn’t have been better!

I receive eye injection at this center. Dr. King is excellent. He explains everything he is doing and why it needs to be done. He answers any question you have completely. The thought of eye injections can be scary but Dr. Kings demeanor makes you feel comfortable.

All the doctors I deal with there have been good. No problems when going to with appointments. Been my eye place for about 4 years..

Excellent care - many options discussed to improve my vision experience. Staff was timely, friendly and knowledgeable. A laser procedure was done to improve vision due to hazy membrane from five (+) year old cataract repair on left eye. A follow-up will be conducted next week at which time we will discuss whether or not new prescription lenses are indicated.

My wait time was minimal . Dr. Brasington was kind and took his time and didn’t rush through the appointment. I am very satisfied with the service he provided.

Alamance Eye Center was a great place for my 95 year old mother. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My appointments at other eye centers would typically last over two hours - tough for my mom. We were promptly seen and examined here and were out in less than an hour. Dr. Zhang was very thorough and provided great advice on my mother’s treatment. Dr Harrow did a great job with my Cataract Surgery. And Alamance Eye Center has been extremely helpful and attentive. This is my second cataract surgery here. Really like everyone a lot.

This was my first visit with Dr. King. He is very customer focused and took time to ask and understand my concerns as well as performing a routine eye exam. I recommend with no hesitation whatsoever! Great team as well! Im not a fan of doctor visits and generally only go to a doctor if something is wrong or if my better half schedules the annual checkup. All the more reason I was so pleasantly surprised by this visit.

I can tell he enjoys his job. Very nice to his patients. Explains why things happen and gives suggestions for problems. He’s the best optometrist I’ve seen.

I will return to collect our glasses, but my family and I have no intention of ever returning to this practice. Our experience was insulting. This is my and my child’s experience ONLY and I had no intention of even posting a review but was solicited by the practice to “share” my experience. The optical shop experience was refreshing, but the medical side is where the insulting experience occurred and I welcome the opportunity to speak with a practice manager, perhaps a racial sensitivity training would be appropriate. Topics could include micro aggressions and unconscious bias. All were on display during our experience with the medical staff…also if this is how they deal with a child with special needs, then we definitely will not be returning after we get our glasses.

Assistant was punctual and brief when she arrived to measure ocular pressure. Dr. Braselton entered shortly thereafter and took the pressure a second time. He did not inform me of the pressure measurement until I asked but that was not a problem. Overall, everything was well done.

Long wait times. My elderly mother has Alzheimers. She is left waiting in a cold room for as long as 2 and a half hours. Poorly managed and poor communication from staff. Looking at other options. Difficult due to memory issues. Frustrating.

I waited more than 1 and a half hours past my appointment time, after getting drops in my eyes to dilate them, before I could see the doctor personally. I was offered no explanation during the long wait time nor any apology fot the doctor being so late while I waited alone in an exam room. The exam itself was adequate, but this treatment of a patient was both unprofessional and unacceptable, in my opinion. I will not use Alamance Eye Center in Burlington again in the future.
