We sign up for annual fitness plan without comitment program which means u can back off at any month so after a month we ask for sign off due to health issurs perosnal but they said we will charge you for the whole year bec this is our policy ....poor customer service ...very rude receptionist.......

It is a nice place to train and do your own thing, clean and all the equipment is in great shape, staff is nice and friendly.

1st time visiting this PF since moving to area and was surprised how small it was compared to the 6 or 7 ive been to in past. Parking is limited due to location which kinda looks like a shady back alley. Theyre all about limiting the spread of germs and wearing masks and cleaning equipment but they have outdated water fountain that EVERYONE who fills a bottle up touches, maybe think about updating like every other PF and get touches fountain. And there are no paper towel dispensers, rolls are set on top of trash cans and again something everyone touches with their sweaty hands spreading germs. Not a bad place given the size and location but maybe consider upgrading some things in the facility im sure your guests would greatly appreciate it. And hurry and go to 24/7 schedule !!!!

It’s cheap and it gets the job done

I was aggressively accosted today by a staff member for (momentarily) not wearing a mask. When I attempted to explain to him that I was on a water break (and also point out that everyone else around me had theirs under their chin or did not have a mask at all), he wouldnt listen to me and he demanded that I leave the gym immediately or else he would call the cops, which he did. The police seemed genuinely surprised/annoyed that they had been called, said that there was no problem, and they told me multiple times that this is something I could bring up with the corporate office, which of course I am doing. I literally pointed to all the people just feet away who were unmasked, and asked why the employee wasnt confronting them about it. His response was Im not concerned with them, Im talking to you and proceeded to admonish me in front of everyone in the gym (although I wasnt acting any differently than anyone else there, and remained calm). At one point he said that he will forcibly remove me from the gym if I didnt comply (the forcibly remove comment wasnt made in front of the police, so I have no proof of that unfortunately). Later on, it was explained to me by another employee that (even though their signs posted all say members must wear masks at all times -- no exceptions) apparently the exception is that when youre actively working out, youre allowed to take your mask off. This is posted nowhere in the gym, which is what contributed to my confusion even more, plus the fact that the employee was irate and wouldnt even listen to the fact that I was trying to drink my water. Other comments made by this employee gave me the impression that I was being singled out due to my sexual orientation. The irony was that I had literally been wearing my mask throughout my entire workout -- the ENTIRE TIME --- just up until my water break, which is when he saw me. Even better is the fact that I was working out next to another employee of this gym, who was totally unmasked for the 30+ minutes I worked out next to him and he also violated social distancing by placing a workout bench in between two other benches (less than six feet apart -- there are designated lines in purple tape now post-covid) right in front of the sign stating to not do that very thing. I have canceled my membership, emailed the owner, made a report with the BBB, Mass Board of Health, Attorney General, and am about to hit up PF corporate. I was a loyal member for over six years, and now this one employee (who I had never seen before) decided to take out his agression/prejudice against me. This is NOT okay, and you cannot have one posted policy (masks at all times) and another non posted (you can take down your mask when actively working out). Also, when many of the other employees just sit at the front desk (not maintaining social distance) they have their masks off all the time. The inconsistent nature of this policy and its enforcement coupled with a handful of statements made to me personally by this employee (which I am not posting here) also made me feel like I was personally discriminated against. Shame on you, Planet Fitness. You have lost this customer (and my partner) for good.

If you want customer service, youre way better off going to the Woburn location.Tried to cancel my membership over the phone to avoid having to go into the location during the pandemic. The person who answered the phone could not have been less helpful + rude. Their policy is a letter or to do it in person. But we all know that its more than possible to cancel a membership over the phone, all I had to do was call the Woburn location and ask the very same thing. They were super helpful + friendly.Judging by the state of their equipment pre-pandemic (doesnt look like theyve upgraded in quite a long time), and the way they treat people during it, the Burlington PF cares way more stuffing your $10/month into their pockets than they do about you as a person. And thats a shame.

Fine gym for general use. I recently moved however and needed to cancel membership. Staff was incredibly rude and unaccommodating. In person cancellation or mailing a letter. MAIL??? If that’s a planet fitness policy in general that needs to be changed, more disappointed with the rude staffing.

Its a discount gym, with poor showers and passable equipment. Pay them with a credit card rather than direct bank access. I had to have my credit card chargeback because they processed my card the same day they received the certified cancelation letter but wouldnt refund me.The showers are group showers, made worse by added stall walls, made of the same style that divides urinals. There are curtains too but unless youre homeless theres better places to shower.

2nd time in pfitn since quarantine. 6 out of the 20 people hear are not wearing Masks. Are we doing This or not. 😒

Glad to be back after 4 months. Burlington PF has made adjustments and is kept well clean. Great staff.

An awesome gym for its price. It is not an compact gym but an large one and doesnt look like one from outside. There are so many cardiac workout machines. You still find a spot in the peak times too. They have two kind of membership which you can find out in their website.This gym is really good for beginners. You can see many people here and car parking is free. You have restroom and drinks. Locker facility is available. Gym is very clean and the staffs are very friendly here.

A little honesty would have gone s ling way. Would have signed up, it it werent for all the catches. Ended up signing up for the gym at work.

Mens locker room is gross. Floors look unclean, showers smell like old urine. Parking on weekdays after work hours is very limited with the skating rink next door. Equipment is fine, but as with all planet fitness locations there are no bars other than the Smith machine

I like the layout and equipment. Staff is really nice. Parking stinks (not their fault- there is an ice rink next door that can be pretty busy), the showers are kinda gross and are often cold, so I no longer shower there unless I absolutely have to, the WiFi usually doesn’t work great. I wish they opened earlier, not a 24hr location. But overall It’s a decent workout spot.

I like this place. Good and a lot of equipment. low prices and as black card member you can always bring someone with you. You also can use the tanning and massage chair for free. Cant recommend the shower. But when you dont mind to come and go in your gym clothes this is a really good place to get into shape.

Unbeatable value at $1 joining fee and $10 per month. Definitely worth it. A lot of good equipment. The only downside is cleanliness of the club - I would not take a shower there

Huge gym. Never have trouble getting a machine whatever time I go. Only thing that is disappointing is they are a little behind in the technology department. In order to hear the tvs, you need a headset with audio jack. There are no bluetooth capabilities, and iphone earbuds have a lightning connector so I would have to purchase a new set of headphones specifically for hearing the tv.

Very nice gym and friendly staff. Lockers rooms could be a bit better though.Edit - They have made some changes in the showers and now we have three private spaces to shower along with a big shared space with multiple showers! This is a welcome change!Also, having been to two other PF locations in Greater Boston, this is definitely one of the best in terms of wait time for the machines and weights!I used this gym in the morning (6:30am - 8:30am) for about 2 months and evening (5pm - 7pm) for about 10months. There is almost no wait time for any of the machines which definitely sets this gym apart from the rest of them!

Large, sprawling space. No shortage of treadmills, bikes, elliptical or stairmasters. Multiple separate rooms, large and clean locker rooms. I come after work and the place is never overcrowded, which I love.

I like this Gym, but I usually go at night time and will like to keep going there but they lighting on the parking lot its really bad, its scary at night time, you really need a better lighting.

I have been a member of this gym since 2009. Have nothing but good things to say about this gym. The employees are very kind and encouraging. I have lost over 40lbs. To mention specifics an employee named Jeff went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with PF. Much thanks to Jeff I will be a member for life.

Fair room for everyone; pretty big gym; a bit on the tight side on treadmills, but overall a good value for money.I usually go in the evenings and find the gym vacant enough to do my exercises and run a few miles.I am happy with the value I am getting.

Just joined this week. Not too crowded early mornings. Locker rooms are pretty clean

Very clean gym. Even at peak times its never full to the point that you need to wait for any machines or weights. Theres no bench press and squat or deadlifting equipment. Its an excellent beginner gym but not made for serious lifters.

STAY AWAY IF YOU’RE HISPANIC OR KNOW HOW TO WORKOUT! I thought that passing judgment on members was a no no at Planet Fitness but I guess that’s only for a select few.I was humiliated and embarrassed at this location by the owner Jeanette. It was my first time bringing a guest to this location and I was sick. She sent 2 wannabe tough guys to tell me I couldn’t train ppl. Fair enough because I wasn’t training anyone. I explained that to them and proceeded to help my friend. I continued working out there. I decide to bring in my guest again and we had a decent workout. I noticed a Caucasian woman training 3 ladies while she sat on a bench. No one said anything! I didn’t care because it didn’t affect me. I came back another time maybe 2 weeks later with the same friend. The only friend I’ve ever brought there. A total of 3 times now. I get a call from the owner denying me access because she felt in her heart I was training ppl. I couldn’t believe it! I go there by myself. I don’t speak to anyone. I brought a friend a total of 3 times during a 3 week period and now I’m a trainer! Her reasoning was because I clean my machines and no one does that! I was embarrassed, singled out, judged and then accused of doing something because she felt it. I am so disappointed in this experience! I felt discriminated against both as a male and as a Hispanic person. I’ve brought the same guest there 3 times and worked out there at least 15 times. I can’t recall. So now I’ve spent money on a membership I can’t use with the amenities I was thought to have.I’m still in shock that I experienced something like this in 2018!

My biggest complaint is this planet fitness doesnt have the latest water dispenser, that has purification and water bottle filling sensor ... And second complaint is the napkin dispenser.....please upgrade to the latest touch less sensor ones that give out paper automatically...apart from this this is a decent gym...ample space, parking and equipment ..

I havent been to many Planet Fitness locations but I have been to other gym / fitness clubs in various locations around the country. This one has all the equipment you could reasonably need or want and the staff are very helpful, with a good attitude overall. The thing to keep in mind is the price. This is a no-frills operation that is a terrific deal compared to almost anything else other than a home gym. How much would that cost you? Right - I ran the numbers too. Its not fancy but there are plenty of elegant places around that would be happy to charge you ten-to-twenty times what Planet Fitness charges. I think Ill stick with the basics.

Nice place, I started a total newbie at gyms (been going here about 2 months now) and so far every employee Ive asked has been happy to answer my silly questions and show me how the equipment works. There is rarely a wait time for machines and no one bothers you. The showers are not very clean, however, and the womens changing room is an unused lightless shower with a fold-out chair in it and just a thin fabric curtain to stand behind, so I dont change or shower here lol. Other than that its no complaints. Just basics for getting yourself into shape.

I really love this gym. But the bathrooms need some work. The showers are always clogged. But great equipment and friendly staff

I have been to many many different planet fitness clubs all over the country yet I have never had a bad experience EXCEPT AT THIS LOCATION. I will never ever return their. They had the worst nastiest locker rooms and showers for men. They did not have any sanitation spray or wipes to clean the benches. the place is so so old and need some serious updates.

My (locked) locker was robbed. The employee on duty was apathetic and said it is a regular occurrence at the Burlington PF.Otherwise it is a typical PF. Ive been to 30+ pf locations in my travels. Its the usual PF equipment but it is unusually spacious because its a converted warehouse. Bathrooms and showers are rather dingy. Hours are poor compared to most PF locations.Cant recommend a place where theft is a regular occurrence and no one cares, though.If you are like me, a traveling PF member with a work out addiction, find another location or do not bring valuables near this location.

Great class! It goes by quickly and is surprisingly challenging!

Nice location- -doesnt have all the newest machines, but the facility is nice and clean, the exercise/stretching room is well lit and laid out, and the locker rooms have two things Ive seen in no other gym--a shower seat for elderly/handicapped customers, and a steam room.

Gym is clean and up to date with equipment.

I go to other gym but the only time i go here when i am in rush and its close to my house i was in one morning and on member went to the service desk and complain that i drop the weight. seriously this gym of course you gonna hear that well i didnt mean to drop it . but i feel like this gym is for older people only. not recommended if you like to workout hard.

A pretty decent planet fitness. Sometimes they forget to fill the soap dispensers in the showers and it is empty for more than a week.

WiFi is awful. Depending on the time of day, it barely works at all. Management doesn’t care to upgrade it. Hours aren’t very good. Any other Planet Fitness in the area is a better choice.

They just got new equipment. Place is big and rarely packed like some of the others closer to Boston. They arent 24 hrs though.

Bathrooms are still horrible (8/2/2016) They must have just installed newer lockers. Still has a nasty group shower for men. Employees were very polite and the machines were clean, but the shower and the lack of parking was bad.

Nice Furness center

No effort to maintain the facility. The bathrooms are filthy and unkempt. Also missing some basic machines/weights.

Extremely outdated equipment. The locker rooms are old, nasty, and appear to never be cleaned. No one cleans the equipment after they use it and the staff is very unwelcoming.

Needs updated. Missing newer equipment.

Literally zero parking spaces available when I tried to go. It is in a small, confined location that is difficult to find. The parking lot is impossibly small, so I could not even get inside to see it.Why are all the planet fitnesses in the area small, over crowded, in terrible locations, and poorly planned?

I called to cancel my dead fathers gym membership as his widow is being charged $10 a month. They said they could not do that over the phone. So I have to go down in person to cancel it. Unbelieveable!!!!

The find way to charge you. Even if you cancel your membership they charge you a yearly fee on the first of June.
