I’ve had nothing but positive, professional interaction during my appointments. Dr. Lucy Ledyard is awesome! Definitely deserving of a vacation in Nevus. πŸ‘πŸ½

Dr. Joseph Pierson and the staff at UVM Derm cured my acne! I suffered from acne for over a decade, as a teenager and adult. I had tried so many different treatments and been to other dermatologists, but as soon as I told them my story they put me on accutane. He worked with me to ensure I was on long enough to clear most of my acne, and a year since being done with accutane my acne is 70-80% GONE!! He also got me on prescription tretinoin again and my skin has never looked better. This is a great office to go to for serious and thoughtful treatment with results.

Had trouble getting ahold of the doctor at a pretty crucial time. Finally just drove there. Once in the office, she said that she didnt receive any of the 5 messages that were left. Once in her presence she prescribed treatment. Poor communication amongst staff it seems.

I recently went to uvmmc dermatology for a routine skin check. The doctor asked me why I was there since she last saw me about 5 years ago. She said I didnt need to come unless I have a family history or use tanning beds. I said both of my parents in Florida have had skin cancer. She said yeah well thats in Florida. I stopped talking. I am in my 40s and moved to Vermont from Florida! I told her I would not have made the appointment if I knew it wasnt needed. I felt bad for wasting her time. She said her schedulers dont have time to look into a chart 4 years to figure out if I need an appointment. I did not tell her I have been a medical scheduler about 10 years and I did ask questions like: do you know when your last physical was?, or I look at their appointment list, or check their age and so on. I was also advised by another specialist to make the appt. I am very careful to limit my activities during the pandemic and would not have gone in. I would like to add that I have been to their medical aesthetician a couple of times (pre pandemic) also and she is amazing, super helpful, and very kind.

Worst experience for an appointment ever. Arrived at my appointment on time, paid my $50 co-pay, then waited in the waiting room for an hour only to be told to try coming back in the afternoon and they would try to squeeze me in between more overbooked appointments. I opted not to try to come back later, but made a different appointment. I asked to have my co-pay returned and so they told me it had been put back on my card. Its over a week later and still has not shown up in my account. Spent literally HOURS on the phone with Dermatology and Billing to resolve it. Finally was told they werent able to run the credit on my card so put in for a check, but they have no idea how long it will take to process. My appointment was booked over a year in advance, and even then they mailed me a week or so before saying they were overbooked so had to reschedule me. I havent been thrilled with the service there in the past, as the doctor always seemed to rush in and rush out as if I was a bother to her. I have canceled all my appointments there and rescheduled with Four Seasons instead.

I am so frustrated with this place. Every month it is a hassle to get my sons prescription refilled. Ive called three times this week and havent heard back from them. They havent responded to two faxes from our pharmacy either. The doctor is nice enough in person but never puts in the paperwork on time thats needed for our insurance. Every single month my son runs out of his medication before we can get it refilled and it alters his mood when he has to stop and start it suddenly. To make things worse, when you call, there is not an option to speak to a live person. You can only leave a message for a prescription refill (which they apparently do not monitor or my son would have his refill) or get their fax number. It makes me wonder why they dont want to talk to their patients on the phone. Maybe so they arent held accountable for their lousy service?

I have been a patient since Summer 2017. I have NEVER had a negative experience. Today was no exception. I was greeted by a very pleasant and knowledgeable gate keeper who expedited my β€œ5 minute tardinessβ€œ into an exam room (within in 3 mins). I was also escorted to the exam room by another very pleasant woman who verified my info and statistics and even with a mask on, I could feel her warmth and smile! I would say 4 mins later Dr Dustin Taylor entered. He was an incredible listener, very charismatic, super intelligent, compassionate, and will obviously achieve what ever he wants in life. After his examination he brought in Dr. Ankit Gor to concur with the new medication choice, asked if I had any questions and concerns and 10 minutes later, I was in the parking garage heading out. A+ experience and because my expectations were exceeded, I figured I would write a review which happens once a decade. Reading some of the less positive reviews, I felt it was necessary to do so. In the 3 years I’ve been a patient I have never paid for parking which means I’m in and out in less than an hour as the first hour is free. Keep up the great work! Thanks for all you do!

Happy to see the resident I saw there last spring is no longer there but she was rude and arrogant. Would not listen to me nor could she help me. She and her attending (who was at least nice) did two biopsies and I was prescribed a cream that is useless and only addressed one of several allergic reaction skin issues I am dealing with. I wasted my time going there twice - I’m still suffering with the same situation many months later. I am going elsewhere. Waiting time is longish, but not as bad as Ive seen in other comments. The place is clean and professional looking. I found the office a confusing place to find (which is not their issue but mention it as a warning to others).

Saw Decker a PA first who I asked to leave she was incredibly rude, insensitive, judgmental, arrogant, and unprofessional. I then saw dr Fisher who was the opposite. She was polite. professional, understanding, and really informative and sensitive. I rate a 3 because its average of 0 for Decker and 5 stars for Fisher.

The UVM Dermatology department is horrendous!!! Unprofessional, rude, obnoxious, unhelpful staff AND schedulers AND front desk personnel,, extremely long appointment time wait 4-6 months, AND unknowledgeable medical staff - expect 80s manual doctrine- and BEWARE while youre patiently waiting for 4-6 months to be seen by what you think will be an actual DOCTOR, you will instead be scheduled with a PHYSICIANS ASSISTANT ,but this will NOT be disclosed to you, and you will only find out after youre in your appointment (wondering how its possible for an MD to grossly misdiagnose you like that..) or after your appointment all together!!!!! UVM medical care as a whole has gotten ridiculously bad, but this department is exceptionally horrendous!! I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN ( I gave them 2 tries). If you actually want to get an accurate diagnose by an actual MD, scheduled in a professional manner by helpful staff in a reasonable time frame DO NOT GO HERE, GO ANYWHERE ELSE INSTEAD!!!!

My 20 month old daughter saw Dr. Morely this morning for the very first time. Our daughter had a skin condition which we had received multiple different opinions on from the pediatricians at her primary care office. The receptionist was extremely nice and even put a sticky note by the fax machine to let the other office staff know to look out for my daughters referral so they could contact me ASAP to schedule an appointment. They squeezed us in within 2 business days! I was overjoyed. Then Dr. Morely was simply amazing with my daughter, fiance and I. He was personable, knowledgeable and very thorough. He took such good care of my little one and put my mind at ease. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Morely to any parent out there struggling with their childs skin conditions. We made a trip to VT from NY and it was more than worth it. We got the care from Dr. Morely that we could not have gotten in NY in the area in which we live. Thank You, Dr. Morely. Doctors like you are few and far between these days. You went above and beyond for my family and I am so grateful!
