It takes too long to get a return call from DCU Customer Service.The reps are quite professional, but dont expect clear answers. It feels like they need to do more research on every question.DCU used to be Excellent, but Covid caused unhealthy business practices, and wait, wait, wait service.DCU: Dont Call Us. . . youve been warned ; )

The most horrible branch of DCU in MA. They simply do not care. I use ro go there on average 2-3 times a week. After about 6 months the fact that ATM always has problems became an axiom. Never, I repeat NEVER, I used their drive in ATM successfully. I complained every single time. Parked the car, went inside, complained to tellers. Response was - what do you want me to do. And when I answered how about trying to fix it, they all looked at me as if I was crazy person.Then I started complaining to managers about non functional ATM. They all listened and all promised to to take care of it. Last complain was about 2 weeks ago. And sure enough, this morning I go to make a deposit and ATM is not working.This is sad. All other branches are extremely friendly and helpful. In Andover their ATM was broken once and I asked about it. They thanks some for reporting and guess what? ATM was fixed next day.

If I could leave a zero star rating I would. This location is an absolute mess! If you need to bank at all you have to use the drive-through. That’s fine, understood, the issue is that it is a minimum of an hour every time! It is absolutely ridiculous. Make sure to give yourself at least a two hour time slot in your busy day for any banking needs you might have. Never recommending DCU bank to any person I know or will ever meet!

This location has the most inefficient atm. It keeps coughing back your money when making deposits over the arm. New and old bills aloe, especially new bills. It takes forever to deposit even so much as 20 bills . So frustrating and time consuming

I agree with the other reviews, this location is probably one of the worst. Teller drive thru line wait is minimum of an hour. The atm for deposit constantly glitches. Our initial experience there when signing up for an account was also poor. The person was more interested in people in the waiting area than us and associated the wrong address with the account and did not deposit the money for us, we had to go into the Teller line afterwards which we thought was weird.

I opened new account checking + savings to refinance my auto loan. I received pin to signup online but its not working. I tried calling them numerous times and sent emails as well but no reply. Its already been a week and Im not able to sign up. Good interest rates but worst customer service.

Mortgage customer service is HORRIBLE. It is extremely difficult to to get in contact with anyone. I have tried email, phone, and phone call back, and have not received a response. They took two extra mortgage payments after I refinanced the loan with them, after I submitted an online request to stop automatic payments. They still have that money after continued requests, and I cannot get in touch with anyone. NEVER use DCU for mortgages. Please use a bank that values customer service and has their mortgage department properly resourced.

The dcu bank functions just like most banks. But require an appointment due to covid, via web or app. But drive thru is open to everyone with very long lines during peek hours. A few months ago I tried to apply for a personal loan and the lady was didnt ask any questions and just started the application with my account info. As I tried to get more information and provided which specific personal loan I was seeking, she was unable to answer my questions. So I promted her to stop the request for a loan. Maybe a different branch if you are looking for a more professional and knowledgeable bank clerk.

In the beginning there was cones, signing and a police officer directing traffic now its a dangerous mess. ATM is hard to get into and no one knows which way to get out of the parking lot. Really need to fix this I saw multiple people get out of thier cars to yell at people someone is gonna get hurt.

Friday, June 12, I came to the Burlington branch to make a deposit and I knew that there would be a line of cars. When I got in line, there were 9 cars ahead of me. I waited 10 minutes before the line moved. Now there are 8 cars, etc. I was in line for 30 minutes and there were ONLY 6 cars ahead of me. I left because whoever was the teller was too slow. What are people doing at the tellers window - filling out mortgage applications, applying for loans, opening new accounts ???As a suggestion, perhaps you are letting people do multiple transactions which is not a good idea - how about a limit of say three transactions per person/car?

Far away from professionalism. Called 3 times I got hang up on from MELANIE just because she couldn’t answer couple of questions over the phone. Had to drive all the way from Shirley asked to speak to a manager and the manager even wasn’t sorry didn’t apologize either. I pointed out on Melanie. Nothing! I literally moved my Auto loans and my account and everything to DCU last week and I kinda regret the fact. Thank you! I will be definitely going to other branchesDayane H.

Unable to make a loan payment online. Not able to go into the bank. Cant call to make an appointment to go into the bank. The drive thru line is always so long (Im talking over an hour) the parking lot is terrible, especially when they dont allow people in line. Will switch credit unions asap

Craft beer selection is great. Food is decent but this is the type of place you go to for the awesome beer selection, not the food. All in all 5 stars, great place to take the family for a night out. Only complaint is that the bands play too loud at times and it’s a bit hard to have conversations with those sitting across from you.

I am writing this review for DCU as a whole. I signed up for a car loan in February and was approved in minutes. However, the application to become a member took weeks! I did not want to be a member and did not want a savings account. It was forced upon me to get this loan. Maybe going into a branch is the better way but honestly I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Set up an appointment online for 9am right when they opened and included specific details about what I would have liked to discuss. Arrived promptly at 9am and checked in. Although there was no one else waiting it took until 9:15 to be seen and the employee I dealt with didnt have any of the information I was looking for. Basically walked out of there with two pamphlets and a phone number to get the info I was looking for, they should have contacted me before hand to tell me they wouldnt have the necessary details for me during the appointment. Waste of time. Sad because they have good rates and I was looking to do some solid business with them.

Very dissatisfied with the process of signing up for an account today. We felt like the person who was helping us didnt listen, was preoccupied with other people in the waiting area, almost forgot to give us our debit cards, didnt actually clarify with us what kind of account we wanted, didnt verify or double check our address so he put the wrong address in the account and now we have to go back to the branch and change it, and also didnt deposit the money into the account for us. We went to the teller after ourselves to do it. Overall not impressed and will be closing the account in the near future.

Whether it be personal or business related Ive never had a problem securing a loan from DCU. Once they get the paperwork they need to confirm the details they next-day FedEx a check made out to whoever it needs to be. Great and easy to do business with.

DCU has been amazing. The service and the customer experience of this branch also deserve an A rating. I switched over from Bank of America and didnt look back. The fees are far less than with a traditional bank and the credit union experience is far more like a family than an institution. Many dont know that as a credit union member, youre actually an owner versus just a customer. Also, traditional fees that are associated with regular banks are removed from the equation and returned to us members in the form of lower rates and costs.

The lady over there named Reshma wasnt helpful at all and I dont think she has good experience and never tried to help the costumer. I talked her almost 20 minutes and she was still asking me same stupid questions which was not even right ones. DCU is great company and this kind of employee just a shame fo them.

Destiny Flood was very nice and helpful. Went in earlier for an auto loan and Rishma would not give me the loan because I had a temporary license. I explained that my wallet had been stolen and she kept saying it wasnt an option. Destiny understood my problem and got me approved with the paper copy! She was very informative and actually helped me to open an account right there!

Absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE you will be on the phone for AT LEAST a half a hour EVERY TIME YOU CALL FOR INFORMATION. DO not choose this credit union because of low interest rates. Those are most likely fake reviews. ANY credit union gives low interest rates thats the way they work. This bank doesnt accept master cards too by the way but they dont tell you that we you asking you can pay the difference of a loan with cash you have with a credit card. IMAGINE THAT a bank DOESNT accept MONEY. This is a very slimy corporation that must tell its employees to do everything possible to keep the Loan at the bank so they can collect the interest. Absolutely horrible service -5 star rating. Very upset I will never take another loan out. Especially from this establishment. Im not one to post a review ever. But this bank calls for some special assistants. Thank you for taking the time to educate yourself.

Even though the teller was very professional and just doing her job, the credit union has very strict rules for deposits.Lets just say that to deposit a four thousand dollar check they wanted so many things that I ended up depositing at another bank.So I dont recommend DCU.You are better off at a big institution that dont try to make things difficult to you when you just trying to make a deposit.

This credit Union maybe great with how it treats the large companies that it deals with but to the individual, the nobody, they are absolutely horrible. I had used them for about three years and then I had gotten injured and had to go on disability. Now anybody whos ever had to deal with disability knows that there is a time when you have to wait for your disability to arrive. During this time I thought it was great that DCU was using my overdraft protection to cover certain things but charging me $30 for every transaction up to a certain point and then I realized it wasnt so great because half of the money I owed was in overdraft fees. Plus I had a small personal loan that I had taken out with them and it was overdue by about two months. Now during this time I had zero income waiting for disability but I kept in touch with DCU constantly. I talked to them every week, my phone number stayed the same I made sure my cell phone stayed on ( only because of thelovely people at Sprint and how they treat their loyal customers) and I thought that This bank that I had been dealing with would be just as loyal. But no 60 days later they closed my checking account and I had just spoken to them that day and they did not mention anything about that. They reported me to the credit bureau about the loan and when I asked them what that was about they said, oh we have no control over that its automatic. That is their answer for everything We have no control over that its automatic. well Im a little hesitant about doing transactions with a bank that has no control over anything. Your account, your credit report, your money, oh we have no control over that its automatic the computer just does that. WTF? Well my disability check came in at about 3 a.m. on the 10th but they had initiated closing my checking account at 12:01 a.m. on the 10th and of course theres nothing they can do about that so they did throw it into my savings account they of course took out their money first but I had planned on fixing it anyway and then when they took out everything to fix the balance of my checking and to pay the overdue payment on the loan they wanted to hold the rest of my money hostage against the rest of the loan and leave me with nothing to pay the rest of my bills that had gone unpaid for 2 months. I mean I honestly think about it if I wanted to screw them during those two months I was waiting for disability I could have opened up any other account and had my money transferred there but the fact that I had it sent to that bank shows you that I wanted to fix things but they acted like I was trying to run away. Plus their policy of processing payables even if its an hour later in the same day that they get the receivable and then charging you an overdraft fee is ridiculous. if youre expecting your paycheck to come into the bank at 10 a.m. but an EFT comes in at 9:58 then you get an overdraft fee. I did my research and I spoke to every single bank and there was only one other small town bank that did that the other banks that I spoke to were shocked and had never heard of anything like that they all gave you to the end of the banking day to settle the account so DCU lives off of overdraft fees from poor people or people just living week-to-week and they love it. They are bullies, they dont care about you, they love giving loans small loans whatever and they dont show you the paperwork they just have you sign online they throw it in your account but as soon as youre having a hard time theyre going to drop you so fast. I mean just look at the picture of the guy who runs things he looks like a schoolyard bully and honestly thats all that place is one big giant bully under the guise of here for the people well Im done with them. I opened another account somewhere else and they really are the peoples Bank. This time I did my research. DCU, you can screw yourself. 😝

The manager I first opened my account with was very nice and accommodating. I have been a customer about 9 years. New manager came in and even though there were notes in the system about agreements that were made with the original manager he refused to honor them because he does not do things that way. This is understandable but he was extremely dismissive and would not have a conversation to keep a long standing customer. I had to leave the bank because of the total lack of customer service and professionalism. I would not recommend the Burlington Branch anymore with this new manager. The Worst!

I came in to try and make a deposit at 8:30 AM (before they open at 9:00). This branch does not have any real ATMs, only drive through, and they did not have any deposit envelopes available. As I was looking around an employee was entering the building and promptly told me Were closed. When I asked where I could get a deposit envelope she just said they should be over by the drive up ATMs. They of course were not there.

Was there to get a Debit card. Waited for an hour to get help even though there were very few other customers there. All the account managers were busy shuffling papers and chit chatting with each other. Every 10 minutes they would come out to tell me that someone would attend to me shortly but of course no one did. In the end, I just left as I couldnt wait there all day.
