I set an appointment on styleseat because I am going out of town to celebrate my husbands birthday. I received a text message that a walk in set an appointment and my appointment had to be canceled. If you know that you advertise appointments on styleseat that should have been checked prior to over booking. If a customer cancels they are charged $30. The same should go for the stylist.

I’ve went to this salon a couple of times and this is my last time. My braider was so rude she’s been late a couple of times. I ask her to lay my edges every time I’ve went to her so you would think this time wouldn’t be a problem. Wrong!! She had a whole attitude when I asked her to lay my last little section of edges. She said can you wait until I finish your braids to lay your edges. I’m confused how are you gonna lay my edges if their braided. Then after she was done with my braids she gets on the phone with a friend and I hear her say “oh nothing these little kids trying to tell me how to do my job”. How is me asking you to lay my edges telling you how to do your job? But anyways she’s not worth it and I wouldn’t go get my hair braided there.- from a kid that’s telling people how to do their jobs supposedly ;)

Burned my hair in back by my ear. Hair was stuck to my scalp! She was too busy testing color on her own hair in mirror, while I waited for my relaxer to be washed out fully. I had to tell her it was burning. She was Too distracted! On phone gossiping while doing my hair, told me about her kids problem in school after getting off phone in fussy manner. I came to relax. I showed her a pic of a hair style I wanted and realized I walked out with my hair looking just like hers. No way! Seems like the only cut her mind registers. I will not be going back there. That was an unprofessional experience. To each their own! Not going there again!
