I love my therapist-she is a wonderful human being! She’s really there for me and goes above and beyond! The prescriber has been excellent in listening to me and helping me find medication that works best for me. Overall I’ve had a really good experience!

I posted my review months ago but its not showing up, guess they dont like to hear the truth. There is a rotating door of staff here rarely talk to the same person twice. Had an appointment at 8 told me to come 10 mins early and the doors are locked. Im on my 4th provider in 5 years. This place is no good.

This is the worst methadone clinic ever. It feels like you against them. They lie and say you don’t have the choice to get treatment where you feel it will work best for you. Will Kelly and the boss lady only care about keeping clients for the Money

I go to southwest for many services. Ive participated in many classes, I receive treatment and counseling, I receive medication from there, they offer many different kinds of groups, counseling for adults and minors, behavioral health issues, court ordered classes and more. Their classes and groups are very informative and taught by awesome friendly people. The doctors and nurses are very friendly . I recommend southwest if your in need of services or classes.

I decided to give a review after stumbling upon this page while looking for SWBs phone number and being surprised no one happy with SWB has given their experience... So heres mine: I first when to SWBs Kingman Recovery Unit to help my detox symptoms after getting my pain meds cut off, which with the meds they provided at KRU helped Significantly. I then did a 28 day stay at SWBs impatient substance abuse program; Marina Pointe in Bullhead and honestly, it completely changed my life... My opiate addiction was well over a decade in the making so became a large part of my daily life so had little expectation treatment could help and that false belief caused the year I struggling with it on my own the worst of my life. So bad I couldnt help but admit to myself I needed professional help. Right off the bat I regretted waiting and spending that all that time in so much physical and psychological pain... Marina Pointe doesnt just teach coping methods on how to combat cravings but teaches scientifically proven (evidence based) mental techniques called CBTs (Cognitive Behavior Techniques) that combat all the things like depression and anxiety that are the root causes of using. They also help you understand and create a positive daily routines full of positive mental health hygiene techniques to help you to be happy, productive and healthy physically and emotionally. Every employee I encountered during my stay treated me with dignity and respect which in my weakened state I desperately needed. They go above and beyond to provide you with everything needed to make sure youre comfortable and open to the work youll be doing to change your life for the better. If your on the fence about going think about it this way at worst its a waste of a couple days or week (till you decide to go which your free to anytime) but at best its 28 measly days that will completely changes your life! (which is a blink of the eye in the grand scheme of things.) I went in with so many terrible habits that just fed my depression hence my addiction furthering my depression, an endless cycle made worse and worse But left with an understanding of how the mind works and what I call the Jedi Mind tricks (cognitive behavior therapy) methods needed to stay calm and focused in that zone of a positive mental place. I go to SWBs ORS clinic monthly to continue the work of chipping away life long problems and they to are great to me. Bottom line is if your fighting addiction and considering treatment consider yourself lucky SouthWest is there to help

What a joke... Left Mohave Mental Health to go to Southwest thinking that they were better and they are actually worse.. no family involvement they actually make sure that the person disabled kicks their family out of their life and lets them move away with no notification of their family.. lets my son with brain damage miss his appointments.. does not listen to family concerns.. has more than one case worker that cant coordinate help.

I have been seeing both a psych and a counselor at the BHC location for several months, for trauma, PTSD, and severe anxiety. I keep getting reprimanded for taking the meds that they RX me and told that I need to get off of them. I take very low and very few Xanax monthly for PTSD. I saw my Dr yesterday and informed her that my counselor friend requested me on Facebook and I no longer feel comfortable with seeing her. I also expressed my anxiety in having to face my counselor if I should run into her at the clinic, to which she replied we are professionals. We dont take offense to that kind of thing. About 30 minutes after my appointment, my counselor called to apologize to me for the Facebook request and told me Im sorry you misunderstood my intentions and asked if I would still like to see her. This almost sent me into an instant panic attack, as I did not want confrontation with her. My psych ran straight to my counselor, who then immediately called me?? In addition, my psych told me there is nothing that can be done about my trauma unless I do EMDR, which they dont offer yet. But said she wants me off of the very little Xanax I do take. How? How am I supposed to live like this? Not dealing with trauma and not able to take meds to make it through my days without wanting to die? I also asked for a referral to a psychologist, to which she said she doesnt refer and I dont need a referral. I need to call around to find one that will take my insurance. I feel totally abandoned by this mental health facility.

I went here for a couple sessions and did not like it. Mostly because of the male psychiatrist I had, he was horrible. I thought I could open up and be honest but ended up being called “Salty” for one of my responses on his questions. Absolutely unprofessional.

These people will identify your triggers and then use them to set you off. Also, extremely disorganized staff that do not communicate with each other. I think it is very fitting that their logo is the image of a labyrinth.

They don’t know how to treat people that have a mental illness. They will force you out of their housing for no good reason. They are in it for what reason I don’t know. I do know no one there knows how to treat people treat, they don’t know what they are doing, they do not know how to treat anyone who has mental issues
