One of the best campgrounds I have ever been to. River is beautiful beaches are clean and people are tons of fun. You can fish, jet ski, swim or just float the river. I wish the South shore day use area was monitored better for people that litter and leave the parking lot a mess. All that trash left is terrible and doesnt need to end up in the river. People should be more respectful and responsible about their trash. Otherwise, the place is awesome, no matter what section you visit and the view day and night is always awesome. Place is reasonably priced, except Holidays! 40 a person to get in, if camping that cost is extra depending on the site you choose, 40 a person is a bit steep for day use.
Great little campground right along the Colorado River. Super close to Laughlin and all the casinos. They have vacation homes you can rent or the have RV and tent spaces to rent. Each space has a covered picnic table with a BBQ pit. The place is very clean and the restrooms were clean and very nice!! Great prices as well!! Id recommend reserving a spot online because it can be very busy there and it always sells out of spaces on big weekends.
We just cruised by in the seadoo we rented but It was packed with lots of families, cool spot to chill with the family an hang out by the river all day.
Davis Camp is great. Fairly well kept. However, the loud unpleasant music from neighboring camp sites is a bit much. If I could build a sound-proof wall around our camp site Id give it a 4, but thats not possible so 3 it is.
Nice dam to view from the river. You cant go more north due to the dam
Love it here, clean restrooms clean areas, staff really do there rounds in picking up the trash bags and keeping it clean
Camp here, where the trash guy stops by every tent and camper at 5am and leaves the small diesel engine on the whole time and does their job as loudly as they can. Where the entire morning is filled with not 1, not 2, but 3 camp admin vehicles congregating in a morning meeting lasting a full 30 min, loudly talking about their personal lives and making comments about campers. We can hear what youre saying...Are the campsites the right place to have your morning meeting? Is driving the loop with your 3 vehicles over and over and over again for two hours in the morning from 5-7am a truly wise use of your time? The garbage bins immediately next to my site, within 5 feet!, were only 1/8th full. Is it possible these very important tasks can be done after 9am?Very poorly run and managed campsite. Come for a day visit, but dont stay the night. They cant even enforce quiet hours on a weekday night...
Rented a house( number 43) over Columbus day weekend. 3 bedroom 1 bath. House was dog friendly. House was not fully gated which made us have to only let our dog out while we were with her. House came with sheets and pillows. No dishes or utensils. Had stove oven microwave. Worst part about weekend was hot water smelled very strong if sulfur. House was decent size. Was told we couldnt use the fireplace which is misleading due to having all accessories right there. Within walking distance of river, basketball court and tree filled parks.
Family visit from California loved it were residents of Bullhead city Arizona.. great clean
Veterans and first responders get in free for the day. Gate keeper was friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of space to camp or bring the RV. They also have vacation rentals.
Love this place. Beautiful field of green grass with a spouting water park for the kids. Wonderful family place for a picnic. Not a pet friendly park though.
Look forward to going there every week during warm/hot weather months.
Good place to have a good day or epic summer.
The Host Dell and Debbie are the best host at the campgrounds we have been to they are very nice people and have a very nice son. We have been to other Lake Mead campgrounds and these are definitely the kindest people who leave you alone when you camp and are very friendly and keep the grounds nice
Great location. Dry camp right on the water with a sandy beach. Lots of fun.
FULL FAMILY FUN DAY! JETSKI RIDING WAS FUN!
Place needs a lot of Maintenance work its dirty not very well taken care of like it used to be. Bathrooms on North Beach horrible dirty.
Beautiful view there easy to get to not overly crowded and enjoyed fishing at the bottom of the dam, took my dog with me and my girlfriend and her dog and we had a picnic we went fishing we had a great time there it was a perfect day!
Wonderful place for a picnic. Beautiful scenery. Friendly service 👍👍👍👍👍
Great place for outdoor activities.
$10 for day use. $20 for tent camping. The place is a zoo on the weekends but safe enough. The staff at the gate are bossy and like to try and boss you around- then say snide remRks because they think you cant hear them. Wont be back. Ill go to Katherines Landing next time.
Good place to camp or just chill
Nice park on Nevada dam side
Love this place...But, Some People dont pick up their Trash 😠
Very coll will de better with jet skies
Overall, this was a great place to visit. There are lots of campers, RVers, and just beach goers here to enjoy the beach but the ramadas are far enough apart that you can social distance. Day use is $10 and there are other fees if you are going to camp overnight. Surprisingly, it looks like a lot of people camp there for several nights. The ramadas were clean and spacious and there was plenty of room for 2-3 vehicles if you had family/friends with you. The river was cold of course since its April but still nice to get into. There wasnt any litter that I could see. The park ranger patrolled every once in a while but mostly left everyone alone. There are jet ski rentals too and there were a few boats on the river as well. We got turned away from the jet ski rentals from other patrons who were there that said it just wasnt worth it so I dont know the cost but the people riding them on the river seemed to have a lot of fun.
We had an awesome time beautiful and definitely a site everyone should see...
It is a wonderful place to have fun with family but NO Alcoholic beverages!!!
I love Camp Davis. Its close to the damn which is a sight to see from the water. Riding the jet skis around that area is very pretty. The water is clear ice cold water that is ever flowing, which feels amazing when your outside in a 100° plus weather. I love Bringing our portable camping grill and bbqing some burgers and links after a long day enjoying the river. Its just an all around fun family experience.
Its a very nice place to go with family $20 a night you cant beat it I hope to see you here
Ive been here my whole life, this will be and always has been the party of the life
Ok. This is a county park campground. It is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Good cell service. Lots of antenna tv channels. Campground is along the colorado river. We like it very much. Both full hookups and partial hookups available.
We dry camped here for an overnight stay and really enjoyed the Riverside view.
Msi much fun will go there again
Davis camp was beautiful but if you could get California and Utah people out of our area cuz all they do is trash it up and thats not right for Arizona
We love coming here
Great staff. Sites was a little unlevel, but was ok. Full hookups. Good views of mountains and the river. Would stay here again.
Bathrooms were not always clean but did help with dirty people staying at the camp ground.but its was so much fun with friends.
Very nice to get a spot right on the river to tent camp
I had a wonderful camping experience with my friends and family. As a disable person, I wished that there was a ramp to get to the restroom. Overall, I felt safe and I enjoy the entire atmosphere of the campsite.l would definitely recommend Davis campgrounds as a family vacation.
Run down county park with dated facilities. Just upriver from town; noisy. Next to industrial facilities of dam. Smelly river water. Showers barely hot.
Beautiful water, clear and fun on boats
Cool camp site. Love that they have private showers. Constant changing trash cans during the day, and have toilet paper in restrooms. Thats really awesome and appreciate it. The cost person above the age of 12 should stay @ $15.00.There should be a daily fine of $150.00 for all who dont keep their camp site clear of trash daily including the waterline area, toilets, and showers. Having this fine enforced could be good due to COVID and make Davis camp looking beautiful.
Great place to camp for a day.
I love Davis camp. We come here every year. You can dry camp right on the river. Fishing ok.
Neat ParkReceptionist was extremely polite
Everything was as we expected. No major issues, could of gave it another star except the North side restroom was not up to expectations. Dirty
Liked the assorted fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. The regular fried rice, not so good.
A beautiful place on the Colorado River, close to Bullhead City & Laughlin, offering camping, boating, swimming, fishing and more. My only reason for not giving it give stars is the seemingly uncontrolled, reckless jet ski operators. Many of them run much too close and too fast near swimmers and people trying to fish from the designated fishing pier.
For being far from home (Hawaii) this was exactly what we needed!! We had awesome fun. Jet skis to rent and lots of space to park, the water was clean and cold, current was strong though and boats and jet skis made the water a little choppy but overall we had loads of fun!! Well definitely be back
Beautiful. What a great place.
Beautiful place, Beautiful Grounds. Always a pleasure
Great camping spot! Very clean and quick ride away from the casinos as well.
Great place. But its first come first serve. So get here early to get a spot in front of the river.
It was very loud. They do not enforce noise control. Skunks everywhere but camping for $20 a night was a bargain. Toilets were cleaned and porta potty was cleaned and grounds well kept. Usually full by 9 am so get a spot early.
Ranger thinks its ok to take down peoples tents when the camping spot is payed for already came back from walmart and had the neighbors tell me the ranger tryed to take my belongings. Cool place but bad manegment ....
Great place to camp
Its a grate place stayed a week. River was nice on 115 daysWell Stay again next time in town
The weather was great and the crowd was light.
Great rates staff and campground
Its a grate place for the whole family we go every year 3 times in the summer the 4 hour drive its nothing for the fun we have here the water is amazing been doing it for 6 years already and not changing my place for summer fun.
Nice area with a lake nearby. Able to swim in it and use some water vehicles
This campground is not maintained that great and is overcrowded with limited bathrooms.
This is our new go to spot in Jan/Feb to just chill, feed the duck, and soak up the sun.
Nice park.
It was clean, there was pleanty of officer duty on hand, and it was beautiful. Tip: bring some twine or role and some tarp for shade.
Vacation home was not worth it
The area was wonderful! However, they have a FISHING PIER up by Davis Dam for FISHING!! My husband and I kept having to tell people that this area was for fishing not diving off it!! There was no one to get these people away, so if they get a hook in them, oh well!! We told them multiple times and they just did what they wanted.
Im from Hauula, hawaii... The water is ice cold, like u was swimming in sacred falls water... I love dis place... Da showers is warm water... jus no forget sun tanning oil or sun block... Its a very bootyful spot...
Best place to get access to the river...get there early on Friday to get weekend pass might sell out
Neat and clean and safe
Everything was good except the superintendant police officer that was there on Saturday 4th of july at about 6:30pm falsely accused me of purchasing tickets for another family he thought that i was selling my bracelets to other people so he followed me to the location i was camping at to see if my family was accounted for and also i brought my quad and he told me i couldnt ride it there even it being street legal so what the hell is the staff there doing if they dont know their own policies they told me i was welcom to bring it they said why not and the superintendent police officer made me park it for the rest of the weekend after i drove 4 and a half hours in a trailer
A nice place to visit
Staff was great, social distance and loved the river and being outside. Please do not bring glass bottles to river.
Great time
A beautiful campground, too bad they let the jet skiis take over n run wild, and let California take it over when us locals pay the county n state taxes! Not to mention NO social distances! ALL about 💰 and NOT about safety......
Nice place to walk the dog. 3.5 mi from the dam to Laughlin bridge and back. The dog likes to swim, chase critters and walk leash free.. Satisfactory!
Best place ever for entire family fun!!😀
